Charlie Sheen lands £30m for returning to ‘Two And A Half Men’

London, May 19 (ANI): Actor Charlie Sheen has received 30-million-pound for returning to hit TV sitcom ‘Two And A Half Men’.

Sheen, 44, will now become the best-paid actor on US TV and will pick up around 1-million-pound for each half-hour episode, reports the Daily Star.

In July, Sheen will stand trial accused of assaulting estranged wife Brooke Mueller, 32. (ANI)

Charlie Sheen, Brooke Mueller not divorcing

Washington, May 4 (ANI): Actor Charlie Sheen and his wife Brooke Mueller are not seeking a divorce, revealed a representative of the ‘Two and a Half Men’ star.

Sheen, 44, faced domestic violence charges after he allegedly held a knife to Mueller’s throat, and rumours that they were getting divorced followed.

“Please let us clarify this: They are not seeking a divorce nor has one been contemplated,” TMZ quoted a released statement from the Sheen/Mueller camp, as saying.

“There have been no financial agreements between the parties of any sort. Stories to the contrary are false,” the statement added. (ANI)

Charlie Sheen, wife living apart to ‘work things out’

London, April 26 (ANI): Actor Charlie Sheen and wife Brooke Mueller are living apart and taking a “break from the marriage”.

The couple have been estranged ever since a fight last Christmas.

Although, both have received counselling to resolve personal issues, they still prefer to live separately.

“Sometimes when couples are trying to work things out, it”s better if they don”t reside under the same roof… (but) there are no plans for either party to end their marriage,” the Daily Star quoted Sheen’s spokesman, as saying.

He added: “(Mueller) needs to take a breather from Charlie. She is basically taking a break from the marriage.” (ANI)

Charlie Sheen looking to hire law firm that defended Kobe Bryant

Melbourne, Mar 25 (ANI): American actor Charlie Sheen’s representatives have reportedly approached the law firm that successfully defended basketball star Kobe Bryant against a rape charge.

According to TMZ, Haddon’s Denver-based firm, Haddon, Morgan & Foreman, has handled a number of high-profile cases, and Sheen’s team has reportedly been told he will take the case, reports the Daily Telegraph.

Pamela Mackey, a partner in Haddon’s firm, pummelled prosecutors in Bryant’s sexual assault case until they threw in the towel and the judge dismissed the charges in 2004.

Sheen pleads not guilty in domestic violence case

Actor Charlie Sheen pleaded not guilty to charges of domestic violence and has been ordered to stand trial on July 21.

Sheen, 44, was arrested Christmas Day in Aspen, Colorado, on charges he threatened his wife, Brooke Mueller, with a knife during an argument at a rented holiday home.

The actor was later released on bond.

Sheen, who was charged under his real name Carlos Estevez, did not speak during today’s hearing before ninth judicial district judge James Boyd and entered his pleas through his attorneys.

Judge Boyd has scheduled three days beginning on July 21 to hear the one felony and two misdemeanour charges filed against Sheen, who faces a felony charge of menacing and two misdemeanour charges of criminal mischief and third-degree assault.

He has been represented by Aspen attorney Richard Cummins, although Los Angeles attorney Steve Cochran has now been brought in to handle the case.

Mr Cochran is not licensed to practice in Colorado, but is being sponsored by Mr Cummins and will file paperwork to be permitted to participate in the case unless the Colorado Supreme Court objects.

Both Sheen and Mueller have been in rehab in recent weeks.

Sheen is expected to return to work this week on the TV series Two And A Half Men.

London, April 24 (ANI): Denise Richards’ spoof ad about her ‘fun bags’ has become an Internet hit.

In the hilarious video, the former Bond-girl jokes that she is selling multi-coloured paper bags for parties, reports the Sun.

Wearing a low cut black top in the clip, Denise says: “It’s no secret what I am best known for. Just mention my name and most people will say ‘It’s my fun bags’.

“I’ve been showing off my funbags at parties for years and now they can be yours.”

Birth of Sheen’s twin sons helps heal rift with Richards

Washington, Mar 24 (ANI): The rift between Charlie Sheen and his ex-wife Denise Richards is said to have healed after the birth of his twin sons from wife Brooke Mueller.

Richards, 38, revealed that she had visited Sheen and Mueller in hospital after they became parents to Max and Bob earlier this month, and she insists the babies helped heal the bitterness that had once existed.

“We’ve come to a really great place… and I wanted to tell the girls (daughters) I went and saw their new brothers,” Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

“We’ve worked so hard to get into a really good place… It’s important for our daughters and it’s much easier in life for us to get along than have conflict… Life is too short,” she added. (ANI)

Charlie Sheen names newborn twins Bob and Max

Washington, Mar 23 (ANI): Actor Charlie Sheen has named his newborn twins Bob and Max.

When asked why he chose those names, Sheen said that they were “easy to remember”.

“They’re very short and simple, easy to spell and remember… Bob is the same frontward and backward. I’m a fan of short and simple names,” Contactmusic quoted him as saying.

The 43-year-old actor and wife Brooke Mueller became proud parents of twin last week.

The twins are the fourth and fifth children for Sheen. He has a 24-year-old daughter, Cassandra, from a previous relationship, and shares little girls Sam, four, and Lola, three, with ex-wife Denise Richards. (ANI)

Charlie Sheen can’t tell his twin sons apart

Washington, Mar 21 (ANI): Hollywood actor Charlie Sheen, who recently became a father after his wife Brooke Mueller gave birth to twin sons, has revealed that he still can’t tell his twin sons apart.

Although the twins are not identical, Charlie still finds them pretty similar, as they are too small.

“I can’t tell (who’s who)! They’re not identical, but at this stage, they’re similar enough,” People magazine quoted him as saying.

Charlie has also revealed that he is a fan of short names, and thus has named his sons Bob and Max.

“Bob is the same frontward and backward. I’m a fan of a short and simple name. Max was literally Nick until about a minute before he came out,” he said.

Charlie and his wife are currently doing well along with the newborn twins.

“It’s pretty amazing. Not a whole lot of sleep, but what parent does at this stage? There’s adrenaline, excitement, fear,” Charlie said.

Meanwhile, Charlie’s daughters with ex-wife Denise Richards-Lola, 3, and Sam, 5-are eagerly waiting to meet their newborn half-brothers.

“(They’re) thrilled, but insisting that they’re named Bob and Duke. It’s not Max, it’s Duke,” Charlie said. (ANI)

Washington, Mar 18 (ANI): It seems that Hollywood actress Denise Richards has put her bitter divorce from Charlie Sheen behind her, as she uttered good wishes to her ex-husband’s new-born sons with wife Brooke Mueller.

Richards has even revealed that her daughters Lola and Sam are eager to spend time with the newborn twins.

She says that she and her daughters are waiting for the mother of newborn twins Brooke Mueller to heal, so that they can visit them.

“[Brooke and Charlie] just had the babies and we’re letting Brooke heal. Then they will see their new brothers. They can’t wait. They actually drew a picture for them, they are so excited,” Contactmusic quoted her as saying. (ANI)

Washington, Mar 16 (ANI): American actor Charlie Sheen and his wife Brooke Mueller Sheen became the proud parents of twin boys on March 14.

The couple, who got married in May 2008, have named their babies, who were born a few weeks early, Max and Bob.

“They’re doing great,” People magazine quoted Sheen’s publicist Stan Rosenfield as saying.

“And Brooke’s doing great,” he added.

Rosenfield also said that the family was “very happy”, and that Sheen was “ecstatic”.

“He’s a family man – now he has three daughters and two sons.He’s a wonderful father,” he added. (ANI)
