Brad’s parents, Bill and Jane, are also said to be delighted at the news of the nuptials.

“Bill and Jane have never been entirely comfortable with the idea of he and Angie cohabiting, so they are thrilled,” another source told National Enquirer magazine. (ANI)

Melbourne, Sep 16 (ANI): American actor George Clooney has revealed that he would rather have a rectal examination on live TV than join Facebook or MySpace.

Clooney, 48, who is not a fan of the social networking sites, says that he prefers the medical intrusion to creating his own page.

“I’d rather have a rectal examination on live TV by a fellow with cold hands than have a Facebook page!” the Daily Telegraph quoted him as saying.

Meanwhile, Clooney apparently treated his new girlfriend, Elisabetta Canalis, “like a princess” while they were in Italy for the Venice Film Festival. (ANI)

Lady GaGa nips out in racy see-through lace catsuit at NY fashion week

London, September 16 (ANI): Lady GaGa continued her shock tactics as she stepped out in a bizarre see-through red lace catsuit teamed up with eye mask and eccentric spiky hair piece at the New York fashion week.

The singer’s modesty was said to be hardly covered by a barely there red G-string and an almost-strategically placed ruffle on her costume.

Meanwhile, the 23-year-old recently gave a blood-covered performance and faked her own death at the MTV Video Music Awards, during which she changed her outfit five times, reports the Daily Mail.

However, the ‘Poker Face’ hitmaker’s appearance was said to be a little toned down at the Marc Jacobs Spring Summer 2010 fashion show after party, where she bumped into fellow ‘shocker’ Madonna.

Madonna admitted she was “very flattered” by comparisons to the newcomer.

The Queen of Pop complimented the star, saying: “She looks like she’s going to a carnival in Venice, very beautiful.” (ANI)

Italy TV refuses to air “offensive” film featuring Berlusconi

London, Aug 29 (ANI): Italy’s state TV has stopped a trailer of a film featuring Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi from being aired, claiming that it is “offensive” to his reputation.

The scandalous leader is present in an ad for Videocracy, which has scantily-clad women and statistics claiming the nation has a low press freedom rating.

But Italy TV has refused to telecast the clips on concerns that it could have a political backlash on the leader.

And the country’s state broadcaster RAI has stated in its rejection letter that the images in the trailer alluded to recent stories about the Italian premier’s private life.

However, filmmaker Erik Gandini insists that his work, which will premiere at the Venice Film Festival, is about Italian culture even though it has the top man in it.

“It is a film about the present time. It is a film that talks about how Italy has become after all these years. Of course, Berlusconi is in the story,” the BBC News quoted him as saying.

He added: “In a videocracy, the key to power is the image. In Italy, one man only has kept the domination of the image over three entire decades,”

Also, producers Fandango said that RAI told them that the movie promo showing a smiling Berlusconi came across as a political message aimed against the government.

Berlusconi’s company Mediaset, which runs Italy’s private TV stations, has declined to screen the trailer too.

Mediaset and RAI’s three state television channels make up 90 percent of the available free-to-air broadcasters in Italy. (ANI)

Oz cricket WAGs won’t back down over Ashes tour controversy

Melbourne, July 5 (ANI): Australian bowler Mitchell Johnson’s fiancee has hit back at the controversy surrounding the inclusion of WAGs in Ashes Tour.

Jessica Bratich, who recently got engaged to Johnson and is also a karate champ, branded the controversy ‘ridiculous’.

“The boys are away four and a half months,” News.com.au quoted Bratich as saying.

“Mitch goes from there straight to South Africa so they’re actually away for six months.

“I think it’s a bit ridiculous to think we’re not going to go over there and support them,” she added.

Model Lara Bingle was also seen defying the critics who had said that they should stay at home, as she joined fiance Michael Clarke for an evening stroll from the team hotel to nearby Italian restaurant Little Venice.

Cricket Australia is supporting partners and children attending the first two Tests, attracting criticism from some former players.

Australian Test star Michael Slater had said he believed the WAGs would be a distraction.

He also had slammed Cricket Australia for inviting WAGs to the Ashes planning camp at Coolum in Queensland.

“In terms of the preparation, when you’re coming up with your strategy you don’t need the partners there,” he said at the time.

Bratich said: “Mitch likes having me there. I enjoy watching the games and it’s always nice to have someone to come home to after a game.

“What everyone else says is irrelevant really.

“Cricket Australia are supporting us as well. So I think that’s important – they’re encouraging family life.” (ANI)

First sex was painful but pleasurable for virginity auctioning teen

Melbourne, May 20 (ANI): The 18-year-old Romanian girl who sold her virginity online for 20,000 dollars has revealed the details about her night with the winning bidder.

Pretty Alina Percea had auctioned her virginity on a website so that she could afford to study computing at university, reports The Daily Telegraph.

The auction’s winner was a 45-year-old Italian businessman who made a bid of 8,782 pounds.

The businessman paid for Alina, who underwent two medical examinations to prove her virginity, to fly to Venice where the couple toured the sights before spending a night in a luxury hotel.

Alina said: “I liked the man and got on with him well. He didn’t look 45, and he seemed much younger.

“We spoke in English as I can’t speak Italian and he can’t speak Romanian. He paid me a lot of compliments throughout the day, and he was very funny and charming. We got on very well, and I was pleased he’d won.

“He told me he had a good job, but he didn’t say if he was married or had a family, and I didn’t ask him.”

Alina, who was inspired to auction herself on a German erotic website after reading how American woman Natalie Dylan, 22, from San Diego, had put her virginity up for sale for 5million dollars, had hoped to raise as much as 100,000 dollars through the controversial sale but still plans to go to university.

“The bidding lasted two weeks,” she told Closer magazine.

“I hoped I’d meet a nice man, like in the film Pretty Woman,” Alina says.

“At the arrivals lounge, a man came over, smiled, handed me a box of chocolates and said: ‘Welcome to Venice.’ He looked much younger than 45, short, but nicely dressed, with dark hair, green eyes and a kind smile,” she added.

The two went sightseeing, then to a five-star hotel where they had unprotected sex.

“We kissed, then undressed each other. I’d never done that before, so I was nervous. He laid me on the bed and started kissing my body, then we had sex.

I was attracted to him, so I enjoyed it, even though it was quite painful. We only had sex once, then fell asleep.

Next morning, we had breakfast together like any other couple, and I took the morning-after pill. He told me he’d like to see me again, and I agreed,” she revealed.(ANI)

“Someone in Venice could listen to what my ear is hearing in Melbourne,” he said. (ANI)
