New York, Sep 18 (ANI): “Mean Girls” star Lindsay Lohan threw a diva tantrum at the Hammerstein Ballroom, after she decided she did not like the seating arrangements.

“Lindsay decided she wasn’t happy with the seating arrangements,” the New York Post quoted a source as saying.

“She began taking the seating cards for celebrities like Juliette Lewis and Christian Siriano and moving them or throwing them on the floor,” the source said.

A furious Tweed vowed to “really take the piss.”

The Daily Star quoted Tweed as saying: “I’m gonna have the music on all night long, every night. Just wait and see.”

Tweed has used the 700,000-pound house in Woodford Green, Essex, for a series of sex parties.

“He threw a tantrum when he discovered money can be deducted for damage.” (ANI)

‘Susan Boyle loses her cool’

London, May 28 (IANS) Frumpy Scottish singing sensation Susan Boyle has been unleashing four-letter word expletives that have shocked onlookers, a British newspaper reported Thursday.

The Sun said the 48-year-old self-confessed virgin, dubbed the Hairy Angel by British tabloids, went into a meltdown in front of hundreds of guests at the northwest London hotel that is the venue of the hit television show, Britain’s Got Talent.

The paper said police had to intervene Wednesday after she lashed out at two strangers who were apparently trying to “wind her up” – annoy her.

The singer was heard to roar: “How f***ing dare you! You can’t f***ing talk to me like that.”

One officer told her: “You are in the public eye, you must learn to expect this sort of thing.”

A pal of Susan’s told the star: “You can’t act like this”.

The paper said Susan also flew into a rage Tuesday night after judge Piers Morgan praised her 12-year-old rival, Shaheen Jafargholi, for the top prize.

Shaheen, who wowed the judges with a song from the musical Dreamgirls, was told by Piers: “I think that, pound for pound, that was the best singing performance we’ve seen so far.”

Fellow-judge Simon Cowell added: “You are a real contender in the competition.”

Susan – watching the contest on the hotel bar’s TV with Shaheen’s pals, family and show fans – stood and screamed “f*** off” before flicking a “V” at the screen and storming out.

More than 100 people saw her tantrum, the Sun reported.

An onlooker told the paper: “Everyone staying at the hotel gets on really well – it’s like one big happy BGT family – so everyone was shocked by her outburst.”

Boyle became an overnight global sensation on her very first appearance in the contest in April, when she sang I Dreamed A Dream from the musical, Les Miserables.

Ronaldo launches tantrum at Ferguson

London, May 11 (ANI): Manchester United star striker Cristiano Ronaldo pushed Manchester United to the brink of the title, but then blew his top with manager Alex Ferguson.

Shocked TV viewers saw him throw a tantrum after being hauled off an hour into this easy derby win over Manchester City.

Ronaldo angrily pushed away a tracksuit held out to him and, as he sat on the bench, called the decision “a joke”.

Yet boss Fergie backed the player’s reaction.

The Sun quoted him as saying: “He wanted to stay on. He’s in great form but I have to look at the big picture. We have to think about keeping him as fresh as we can. It’s fabulous that they want to play. Of course he wants to play, you know what he’s like. He’s such a great athlete but he ran his socks off on Tuesday.”

“I’ve got Wednesday night at Wigan and Saturday against Arsenal to think about. So there was no problem. Wednesday will be a hard game. I’ll freshen it up again. We’ll make two or three changes. I need to do that because I’ve a big squad and I need to keep them playing,” he added.

Ronaldo’s tantrum reignited talk of the 26-goal ace moving from Old Trafford to long-term suitors Real Madrid, who are mulling over another bid this summer. (ANI)

Oz PM Rudd’s ill behaviour linked to iron deficiency

Sydney, Apr 5 (ANI): Australian Prime Minister Kevin Michael Rudd’s ill behaviour with a flight stewardess on a VIP flight from the Pacific Islands Forum in Port Moresby in January has been linked to a possible iron deficiency.

Rudd specially took out time from the G-20 summit in London to apologise for blowing up at the woman after he did not receive the non-red-meat meal on the flight, Sydney Morning Herald reported.

“All of us are human, I’m human, I’m not perfect,” he said.

However, according to Karen Inge, head of nutrition at the Victorian Institute of Sport, Rudd’s iron deficiency is the reason behind his rude behaviour.

“If you cut down on red meat it can reduce your iron levels. The major role of iron is to carry oxygen in the blood. If you have low oxygen it makes you tired. It’s not rocket science. You only have to look at a child who is tired to see how cranky they are. When you are tired you don’t often react in the best way possible,” said Inge.

Opposition agriculture spokesman John Cobb took full advantage of the incident. He said a lack of red meat explained the Prime Minister’s “toddler tantrum” and why he was “as weak as a limp lettuce”.

“Without iron in their diet a person will become pale, insipid, wishy-washy, anaemic and prone to outrageous outbursts. A lamb chop or steak would put colour in his cheeks and iron in his soul. If you denied me a chop, I’d have serious anger management issues,” said Cobb. (ANI)

Philippine fashion designer under fire for “creative outburst”

Manila – A Filipino fashion designer was under fire in the Philippines Wednesday for berating and insulting employees of a duty-free shop in a “creative outburst” caught on video.

Angelo Fajardo even demanded a cashier at the a duty free shop outside Manila’s international airport to kneel for his forgiveness after his tantrum on March 13.

Fajardo’s flare-up, which was caught on a surveillance video, triggered public ire when the footage was uploaded on the popular video sharing site YouTube.

In a bid to diffuse the outrage amid calls for a boycott of Fajardo’s products, Ricky Rivera, Fajardo’s spokesman, defended the fashion designer’s behavior as a result of “creative outburst.”

“As a fashion designer, as an artist, sometimes he has creative outbursts maybe because of the fatigue he felt at the time of the incident,” Rivera said.

The fracas erupted when the cashier asked for an identification card to support the credit card Fajardo used for purchasing several items at the store.

Fajardo allegedly threatened to have the cashier fired unless he agreed to be slapped or he would kneel down. The cashier knelt down to satisfy the furious designer.

The embattled designer issued a public apology late Tuesday about the incident and claimed that he was very sick and came from a long travel at that time.

Despite the apology, the duty free’s union members have vowed to file criminal complaints against Fajardo. They are even preparing a complaint against him before the Commission on Human Rights. (dpa)
