Cruise may join Diaz in comedy film ‘Wichita’

Washington, May 28 (ANI): Tom Cruise is reportedly set to share the frame with Cameron Diaz in 20th Century Fox action comedy film Wichita.

The Hollywood heartthrob, who has previously paired with the stunning blonde in Vanilla Sky, will allegedly portray a secret agent who hops in and out of the life of a single woman.

According to sources, the pair has agreed to the script for the project to be helmed by James Mangold, reports Variety magazine.

The two were said to be in talks over advanced negotiations though not official date has been set for the movie.

Recent drafts of the script has purportedly been in the hands of Scott Frank, with Mangold presently tuning the script with Laeta Kalogridis. (ANI)

How John Mayer used to keep Jessica Simpson ‘quiet’

New York, April 15 (ANI): John Mayer had a trick up his sleeve to keep Jessica Simpson quiet and that was to tell her he was more attracted to the way she looked than how she talked, reveals a friend.

The 31-year-old used to allegedly tell the stunning blonde that he was drawn towards her spiritual side.

“John used to tell Jess all the time, ‘I’m really attracted to your spiritual side,’” the New York Post quoted a friend as saying.

“He’d tell her that every time she opened her mouth to speak. It was a nice way of basically saying, ‘Just sit there and be pretty, and don’t ruin it with talk.’

“The sad thing is she started to tell people, ‘I’m working on being more spiritual,’ and then just sit there quietly,” the friend added. (ANI)

A-Rod enjoys V-day with “three hot chicks”

New York, Feb 17 (ANI): Yankee slugger Alex Rodriguez might have spent Valentine’s Day weekend minus Madonna, but he didn’t lack for company.

After spending a cozy afternoon with bridal model Melissa Britos, the 33-year-old baseball star was seen enjoying a night out with “three hot chicks” in Prime 112, at South Beach.

“He left with the stunning blonde at, like, 3 a.m.,” the New York Post quoted a source as saying.

Meanwhile, Queen of pop Madonna, who is said to be dating A-Rod, is reportedly not happy that Rodriguez has gone crawling back to his ex-wife Cynthia.

Madge is said to be furious that A-Rod headed home to Coral Gables, Fla., in the wake of his steroid-use scandal.

“Madge is pissed!” said an insider.

“Alex ran right home to Cynthia, and to Madonna, this is the ultimate dis,” the insider added. (ANI)
