Megan Fox out of ‘Transformers 3’?

Washington, May 20 (ANI): Actress Megan Fox has been reportedly dropped from ‘Transformers 3’.

According to a report from Access Hollywood, a source who works at Paramount, the studio that produces the film, said Fox’s character would not be revived in the third installment of “Transformers,” as producers want to take Shia LaBeouf’s character Sam Witwicky in a different direction, reports Fox News.

Director Michael Bay apparently made the decision months after Fox compared his work approach on set to that of “Hitler” and “Napoleon.”

Production on the third installment has already begun, according to reports. (ANI)

Michael Douglas praises Shia LaBeouf’s acting skills

London, May 18 (ANI): Actor Michael Douglas, who admits that he had doubts about actor Shia LaBeouf being able to carry off his role in the new Wall Street movie, has lavished praise on the Transformers star.

Douglas, 65, who won an Oscar for his role as Gordon Gekko in the 1987 film, did not think LaBeouf, 23, “had the chops” to carry the role as well as his former co-star Charlie Sheen.

“Shia, honestly, we were all not sure about whether he had the chops,” the Daily Express quoted him as saying.

“As you remember from the first, Charlie Sheen carried the movie, Gordon Gekko had very colourful parts but it was not every scene,” he recalled.

But after watching LaBeouf acting the part, Douglas figured the young actor has nailed it.

“He knocked it out of the park. I’m so proud of him, he just kicked butt,” he added. (ANI)

He added: “There were some really wild stunts in it, but the heart was gone.”

However, LaBeouf claimed, “Transformers 3,” which is going into production, “restores the human element that got lost in the second movie.” (ANI)

Douglas going through personal “crisis” due to son”s pending drugs trial

Melbourne, March 10 (ANI): Shia LaBeouf says Michael Douglas is a “broken man” awaiting his son”s drugs trial.

LaBeouf, 23, who is Michael”s co-star in the upcoming flick “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps”, has disclosed the 65-year-old actor is troubled over son Cameron”s legal wrangles.

“I met a broken man, not Michael Douglas the celebrity. This man suffers; he”s going through a crisis. He fears for his son. Cameron is facing a prison sentence because of his drug dealing. When I worked with Michael, he would visit his son in prison before he arrived at the set. It was really difficult for him,” News.com.au quoted LaBeouf, as telling German website Gala.de.

LaBeouf also said both he and director Oliver Stone wished they could have done more to support Michael.

“Oliver was really sensitive, but he had to finish his film at the same time. That”s why there wasn”t a lot of time left to comfort Michael. That was tough,” he said.

Cameron, 31, may face an imprisonment of up to 10 years after he pleading guilty in January to possession and dealing with drugs from a Manhattan hotel last July.

Michael, the son of screen icon Kirk Douglas, had recently said he could have been a better father to Cameron.

He said: “My priorities were very similar to my father”s. Career first. The history of second-generation actors isn”t great in our industry. It”s kind of a tragic road, actually. Anybody who has a relative or child in substance abuse has some idea of what this feels like. This is one of those worst-case scenarios. It will ultimately be a painful lesson.” (ANI)

Shia Labeouf ‘dating’ Carey Mulligan

Washington, Aug 26 (ANI): Actor Shia Labeouf must have cast away the idea of ever dating Megan Fox, as he is reportedly seeing British actress Carey Mulligan.

According to the New York Daily News, the pair was spotted kissing and cuddling over drinks at West Village restaurant Extra Virgin.

Megan Fox still has a lot of growing to do, says ‘Transformers’ director

Washington, July 03(ANI): ‘Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen’ director Michael Bay has slammed Megan Fox, calling her “ridiculous” for speaking against the movie.

Fox told Entertainment Weekly: “I mean, I can’t s**t on this movie because it did give me a career and open all these doors for me. But I don’t want to blow smoke up people’s a**. People are well aware that this is not a movie about acting.”

However, the helmer begs to disagree and instead feels that Fox still “has growing to do”.

“Well, that’s Megan Fox for you. She says some very ridiculous things because she’s 23 years old and she still has a lot of growing to do,” Contactmusic quoted him as saying.

Bay is also not ready to keep secret the fact that he has helped many other stars like Fox in Hollywood turn big through his films.

He added: “Nic Cage wasn’t a big actor when I cast him, nor was Ben Affleck before I put him in Armageddon. Shia LaBeouf wasn’t a big movie star before he did Transformers – and then he exploded. Not to mention Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, from Bad Boys.

“Nobody in the world knew about Megan Fox until I found her and put her in Transformers. I like to think that I’ve had some luck in building actors’ careers with my films.” (ANI)

The glass is full, we cut to the girl talking and then back to Sam and the glass is nearly empty, cut to the girl once more and then back to Sam, who has a full glass again.” (ANI)

Fox, 23, admits that there were moments during the shooting of ‘Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen’ that almost ended in tragedy when stunts went awry.

But what she remembers most was a scene in which the crew came close to losing two members of the team, after an explosion went wrong on the set of the movie sequel.

“Our stunt doubles almost died because there was a gas bomb and it blew up too early. But everyone survived,” the Daily Express quoted her as saying. (ANI)

Michael Douglas thanks Oliver Stone for bullying him on ‘Wall Street’ set

Washington, June 25 (ANI): Michael Douglas has credited filmmaker Oliver Stone for bullying him on the set of his 1987 movie Wall Street, for that’s what led to an Oscar-winning performance.

During the shooting of the finance film, Stone constantly questioned Douglas’ acting ability and even accused the actor of taking drugs.

However, it was later that the legendary actor realised that Stone was pushing him to give a better performance.

Douglas thanked the director when he lifted the Best Actor Academy Award the following year (88) for his role as greedy bank boss Gordon Gekko.

“He came into my trailer and said, ‘You doing drugs?’ I said, ‘No’, He said, ‘Because you don’t look like you’ve ever acted in your life,’” Contactmusic quoted Douglas as telling People magazine.

He added: “He was willing for me to hate him for the rest of the picture if it gave him (Gekko) that much more of a twist.”

And now, the pair are set to reunite to make a ‘Wall Street’ sequel, alongside Shia LaBeouf and another Oscar winner, Javier Bardem. (ANI)

LaBeouf opens up about his eye injury on Transformers sequel set

Washington, Jun 23 (ANI): American actor Shia LaBeouf has opened up about the eye injury that he got on the set of the Transformers sequel.

At first it had been reported that LaBeouf, 23, had been injured during a controlled explosion on the set, but the actor has revealed that he impaled his face on a spike.

“We were in the middle of some chaos and I mistimed something and impaled my face on a spike,” Contactmusic quoted him as saying.

“I came up and I had a spike in my eye and I had blood coming down my face and it was the dark, dark purplish kind, which is actually a great thing.

“If it had been reddish and clear, it would mean my eye (had) popped,” he said.

LaBeouf’s co-stars feared the worst when they saw his bloody face.

“His face was destroyed… He (LaBeouf) has the highest tolerance for pain that I’ve ever seen in a human being,” Megan Fox said.

Josh Duhamel added: “We thought he’d lost his eye.”

LaBeouf even impressed members of the military, who were drafted in as extras during a battle scene shoot at Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico, when he refused to take time off after the injury.

“We were all pretty impressed. To get up from a movie explosion, which leaves you injured, and get back in there is cool,” a soldier who was among the extras witnessed the injury and told WENN last year.

“He’s got broken fingers from his car crash and now his eyelid has been slashed open. He’s lucky he still has his sight.

“He was treated at the clinic at the air force base and then a local ophthalmologist came by to check on his eye.

“He was in the clinic for about four hours and then he returned to the set once the swelling had gone down,” he added. (ANI)

Shia LaBeouf doesn’t understand his job

Washington, June 22 (ANI): Shia LaBeouf says that he does not “really know” what his job as an actor means and is unaware how to respond to compliments for his performance.

“I don’t even really know what it is I do for a living – the level of insecurity is very, very high. You’re making a lot of money, getting a lot of accolades and positive criticism for something where you don’t even know what you’re doing,” Contactmusic quoted him as saying.

“There’s no business-model for this. You can’t go home and say, ‘You did your job today,’ because I don’t know what my job is! That gets crazy, trying to figure that s**t out,” he added.he ‘Transformers’ star rose to fame early in his life, starring in several Disney Channel TV shows.

However, he is skeptical about his job as an actor.

“Actors are dependent on being validated by other people’s opinions. I don’t understand what it is I do that people want. I don’t know what an actor does. I have no credentials. I don’t know what I’m doing,” he said.

“To my mind, talent doesn’t really exist. Talent is like a card player’s luck. It is motivation, ambition, and luck. I think acting is a con game,” he added. (ANI)

Shia Labeouf claims he turns into ‘werewolf’ after drinking

Washington, June 19 (ANI): Shia LaBeouf has revealed that he was forced to quit drinking whisky because it turned him into a “werewolf”, and now he is thinking of kicking the butt as well.

The ‘Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen’ actor is seriously considering quitting both drinking and smoking because they have a negative effect on him.

“I had to give up scotch, because it turns me into a werewolf – and cigarettes too. I seem to like to kiss trouble on the forehead and then try to back away. I test my limits quite often. I guess that’s what 22-year-olds do. But I’m fallible and human and I’m figuring it out,” Contactmusic quoted him as saying.

Last July, Shia was injured in a car accident and arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI), but was later cleared.

In fact, the injuries to his head and knee were so severe that it had to be written into the script of the new ‘Transformers’ film.

Last year, the 22-year-old heartthrob set off smoke alarms in a US museum when he lit up a cigarette in the bathroom. (ANI)

Indiana Jones – Indiana Jones Movies – Fifth Indiana Jones movie in the offing

Indiana Jones – Indiana Jones Movies – Fifth Indiana Jones movie in the offing

London, June 17 (IANS) Movie bosses in Hollywood are planning to bring the archaeologist adventurer series Indian Jones back on the big screen for the fifth time, according to actor Shia LaBeouf.

LaBeouf joined hands with Harrison Ford in the movie franchise’s fourth installment, “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” last year and played the hero’s son and sidekick Mutt.

After the global success of the film, which came nearly 20 years after “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade” (1989), rumours began doing rounds that director Steven Spielberg planned to continue the franchise without Ford, passing the lead to the 22-year-old “Transformers” star, reports contactmusic.com.

The actor has now confirmed that the legendary director is working on another Indiana Jones picture but refused to divulge any details.

“Steve just said that he cracked the story on it, and I think they’re gearing that up,” he said.

Ford and LaBeouf have, however, both dismissed reports that the latter will be leading the franchise in the future, even though LaBeouf recently told the Playboy magazine that his movie father handed him his iconic hat as a parting gift on the sets of the last film.

Harrison Ford tosses Indiana Jones hat to Shia LaBeouf

Washington, May 16 (ANI): American actor Harrison Ford has handed his sweaty hat from ‘Indiana Jones and The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull’ to actor Shia LaBeouf, fuelling rumours that the latter will be playing the lead in any next films in the famous series.

But even though LaBeouf got the hat, Ford, George Lucas and Steven Spielberg, the moviemakers behind the Indiana Jones franchise have dismissed the reports.

“It has his sweat stains from the whole movie in it. We were way out somewhere at an airplane hangar on the last day of shooting, and he took the hat off his head, signed it and handed it to me,” Contactmusic quoted him as telling Playboy magazine.

“When I looked at the hat I saw he had written something with a silver Sharpie (pen). It said, ‘It’s all yours now, kid – Harrison’,” he said.

LaBeouf is also quick to point out that he won’t be taking over from Ford any time soon.

“It’s easy to perceive that as his handing the reins over to me on a franchise or whatever… that’s not it,” he said.

“What I read it as is, ‘Keep your s**t on’. It was his way of saying ‘Life is going to get crazy now, so strap on tight, kid’,” he added. (ANI)

Shia LaBeouf once went on a dinner date with Rihanna

Washington, May 15 (ANI): Hollywood actor Shia LaBeouf has revealed that he once went on a dinner date with Rihanna, but things never went any further.

La Beouf revealed that he was “infatuated” with the ‘Umbrella’ hitmaker, and could not believe his luck when he found out Rihanna was trying to get in touch with him.

“(I was) filming a sword fight when I got the message. I said to myself, ‘Can this be my life?” Contactmusic quoted La Beouf as saying.

La Beouf then went on a dinner date with Rihanna, but they never became an item and decided to remain pals.

“It never got beyond one date. The spark wasn’t there. We weren’t passionate about each other in that way, so we remain friends,” La Beouf added. (ANI)

Shia LaBeouf reveals his ‘embarrassing’ first sex encounter

Washington, May 15 (ANI): Shia LaBeouf has for the first time revealed intimate details of how he ruined his first sexual encounter by pretending to be a know-it-all playboy.

In a candid chat with the new Playboy magazine, the ‘Transformers’ star confessed that he lost his virginity four years ago, at the age of 18, and the big night turned out to be a huge mess-full of bad lines and embarrassment.

“For some reason, I was trying to portray myself as a man who had done it (had sex) many times in the past. I didn’t tell the girl I was a virgin,” Contactmusic quoted him as saying.

He added: “I was all, ‘Don’t worry, babe. I’m gonna handle it tonight.’ And meanwhile I was shaking in my boots.”

The 22-year-old star admitted that his first sex encounter took place in a hotel in Montreal, Canada.

“Getting naked was very strange. It was the first time I’d been naked in the light, in front of a girl, with no hiding place,” he said.

“It became apparent pretty quickly that I didn’t know what the f**k I was doing. Somewhere in her mind she had to know.

“I remember laying her on the bed and putting a pillow underneath her because I had seen that in a porn movie… (It) put her at a weird angle, where I couldn’t get in correctly. I’m not extremely well-endowed… and clearly this wasn’t the move to do,” he added.

However, the embarrassing night did have one upside-the girl in question became a long-time girlfriend even helped LaBeouf become a much better lover.

He added: “We had time to work it out. We had a lot of sex and would read the Kama Sutra together and do the wildest s**t.” (ANI)
