Brody”s horror flick sex scene turned off Hollywood

London, June 4 (ANI): Canadian filmmaker Vincenzo Natali took French help to fund his new horror flick Splice after Hollywood studios refused to direct a sex scene between Adrien Brody and a creature his character creates.

Natali, 41, says the idea of watching Brody sleep with a half-woman, half-creature, played by French actress Delphine Chaneac, was a big turn off for American studio bosses.

He said: “That scene was the reason I wanted to make the film and that”s why it”s such a miracle this film exists.

“No studio wanted to make it, because of (the) sexual part of the story. So we had to go to France. And the French, of course, had no problem with it.”

Natali also revealed the reason for casting Chaneac in the movie.

“I felt she had an androgynous quality. I didn”t want to make Dren overtly sexual. I wanted people to fall in love with her rather than in lust. Also, I feel like an androgynous beauty is perhaps a little more evolved. Like David Bowie is maybe more evolved than the rest of us,” the Daily Express quoted him, as telling Entertainment Weekly mag.

He added: “I really think that Dren is an object of desire, but not in the most obvious sense.” (ANI)

What women think while having sex

London, Apr 28 (ANI): A Hollywood hunk, ex-lovers, a blue film scene and even what to buy in a grocery store—these are things that women think of while having sex.

Some women have now revealed what really scores with them between the sheets.

Single comedian Shazia Mirza, 34, said that some of her friends revealed that during sex they are mentally writing a to-do list, remembering clothes they have to wash, what they”ve got to buy at Tesco”s or those shoes they love in Selfridges.

And some women even think of men they secretly fantasise of.

“A friend of mine, who really loves her husband, told me that during sex she can”t help thinking about all the men she secretly really desires, like Jeremy Beadle and Jeremy Paxman,” the Sun quoted her as saying.

“I”ve been married twice and had many lovers and to be honest, with past lovers I”ve been so bored in bed, I”ve taken to compiling mental grocery lists and calculating exactly how many shoes are in the wardrobe (82 pairs),” said author Kathy Lette, 51.

“Most wives are taken for granted. But how we”d LIKE to be taken is by a muscular-thighed Adonis with pecs appeal.

“Luckily sex with Johnny Depp is only the flick of a light switch away. Ah, Johnny – a man whose sex appeal is so deadly it should be registered at police headquarters as a lethal weapon.

“Doing the horizontal tango with George Clooney is also amazing – if only he”d been with me at the time!” she added.

Sarah Millican, 33, is in a relationship, and she said: “I never walk out of a film at the cinema. I”m the same with sex. I always think it might get better. To be honest, as long as I”ve got a bag of Maltesers, I”m not going anywhere.” (ANI)

The health expert was commenting on a survey for Lloydspharmacy.com.

Have more sex to avoid illness, Brazilians told

London, Apr 27 (ANI): Engage regularly in physical exercise, and particularly in sexual intercourse, to fight off chronic illness, Brazil’s health minister has advised the general public.

“People need to be active. A weekend football game must not be the only physical activity for a Brazilian. Adults need to do exercise: walk, dance and have safe sex,” said Jose Gomes Temporao.

It was while launching a campaign to prevent high blood pressure, that the minister gave the advice, reports The Telegraph.

Temporao then defended his promotion of sexual intercourse to journalists, according to the G1 news website.

“It”s not a joke. It”s serious. Having regular physical exercises also means sex, always with protection of course,” he said.

“Dancing, having sex, keeping weight under control, changing dietary habits, doing physical exercise” all help keep blood pressure down, he said. (ANI)

However, the 32-year-old, who stars in police drama ‘Lewis’ tuned in when he grew suspicious she was enjoying filming antics such as bondage, threesomes and sploshing – when lovers cover each other in food.

“Billie didn”t want me to watch it. But I started thinking to myself, ”Why is she always saying all this and why am I not watching it?” the Sun quoted him as saying.

“Is there something bad here? Are you enjoying yourself, Bill?” So I watched it and I was really impressed. We never think of sploshing in our private time. We”re actually boring like that,” he added. (ANI)

“It was awkward,” Brand said. (ANI)

Women prefer chocolate to sex, wine!

London, Apr 24 (ANI): A third of women dream about chocolate during the day, compared with only 18 per cent who think about sex, says a new British survey.

Around 2.3 million British women admitted that they have the sweet treat at least three times a day, reports The Daily Express.

On the other hand, six in 10 men have sex on their minds for most of the day and 11 per cent think about chocolate, the study found.

According to the study of 2,000 women, which was carried out by cereal bar firm Fibre Plus, more than one in five women say they would kiss goodbye to their sex lives before chocolate.

What’s more, a quarter would rather give up chardonnay and Chanel.

Spokeswoman Sally Tribe said: “Women turn to chocolate for comfort, or to cheer themselves up.

“For many, it never disappoints.” (ANI)

Overworked Brits prefer Facebooking to sex

London, April 22 (ANI): A new survey has found that overworked Britons would rather check their email and update their Facebook than have sex.

In the poll of British adults’ favourite bedroom activities, it was shown that making love came in sixth, with activities on the laptop being preferred to sex.

Among the 4,000 people questioned, most preferred to sleep, read, watch TV, listen to music and surf the Internet rather than have sex, and one in seven treated their bed as another place to get work done.

A quarter said they now only turn up the heat in the bedroom once a fortnight. They blamed overwork, exhaustion and stress.

Women were more likely to read in bed and men more likely to watch TV.

Men were keener than women for romance outside the bedroom with the living room bathroom, kitchen and garden favoured places.

“Given the long hours we work and the stresses and strains we are under, it’s no wonder we see their bedrooms as a sanctuary in which to relax,” the Daily Express quoted Amanda Jones, of the bed manufacturer Silentnight, which commissioned the survey, as saying. (ANI)

Loved-up Brits prefer cuddle to sex!

London, April 16 (ANI): More than half of British people in a relationship are more interested in a kiss and a cuddle on the sofa than passion between the sheets, a new research has shown.

The poll of 1,000 Britons, commissioned by healthcare giant Bayer, also showed it is men who are more than happy to smooch on a sofa rather than romp in the bedroom.

In the survey, sex was also judged to be less important to a successful relationship than commitment, companionship and a sense of humour.

Researchers of the study even blame the rise of social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter for making people less intimate with each other.

The majority cited stress, tiredness and arguments as the main obstacles to intimacy with their partner.

“Lack of intimacy can endanger any relationship,” the Daily Express quoted Christine Webber, a sex and relationships expert, as saying. (ANI)

US girl, 15, sells stepsister, 7, for sex

London, April 1 (ANI): A 15-year-old American girl has been arrested on charges of selling her stepsister, 8 years her junior, for sex.

According to New Jersey police, the teen took her 7-year-old stepsister to an apartment close to their home in Trenton town where about seven men raped the younger girl.

It is said the teen was paid for bringing her stepsister to the apartment and she was present at the venue when the men raped the younger girl.

All this while their parents thought the girls had run away.

“We”re talking about a kid who told her sister to go into an apartment and let people rape her,” the Telegraph quoted Trenton police Capt. Joseph Juniak, as saying.

He added: “It”s unfathomable.”

Cops have charged the older girl with aggravated sexual assault, promoting prostitution and other crimes. Although her name cannot be revealed for legal reasons, the county prosecutor plans to request the court to try her as an adult.

The girl is currently held at a youth detention centre.

Mayor Doug Palmer said the younger girl had accompanied her sister to the apartment – where the men had thrown a party – because she was worried about her safety.

Once there, the teen encouraged her younger sister to let the men touch her.

Capt Juniak said: “It went from touching to straight out assault and rape.

“They threatened to kill her if she screamed or told anyone.”

Their parents called the cops when both girls didn”t return home by 4:30pm last weekend.

Two women saw the younger girl crying and escorted her home, where the police had already arrived.

The child narrated the whole story.

Police arrested 15-year-old later that night.

Palmer said: “It”s sickening…The police are taking this personal. I know there”s a place in hell for all the people that participated in this and I”m sure they will get there.” (ANI)
