Megan Fox’s ‘ridiculously bad’ temper

New York, September 17 (ANI): Megan Fox, 23, has revealed how she once threatened to kill her on-off boyfriend Brian Austin Green in a fit of anger.

“My temper is ridiculously bad,” the New York Post quoted her as having told Rolling Stone magazine for its October issue.

“I’ve had to say to Brian, ‘You have to go and stop talking to me, because I’m going to kill you. I’m going to stab you with something, please leave.’

“I’d never own a gun for that reason. I wouldn’t shoot to kill. But I would shoot him in the leg, for sure,” she added. (ANI)

Jo Wood taking tips from Mick Jagger to win ‘Strictly Come Dancing’

London, Sep 4 (ANI): Jo Wood, who is participating in ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, is getting performance tips from none other than Mick Jagger for winning the show.

The ex-model has been chasing her ex-hubby Ronnie Wood’s flamboyant bandmate for advice on how to shine in the contest.

It is believed that Jo, 53, is ultra-competitive and wants to gain an advantage over her younger rivals, such as The Bill’s Ali Bastian and ex-EastEnder Natalie Cassidy, both 26.

“Jo’s been after some performance tips from Mick Jagger,” the Sun quoted a BBC1 insider as saying.

“She knows that he’s got lots of experience as a showman and she really wants to make sure she dazzles in the competition.

“So who better than the Rolling Stones’ frontman for some advice? The pair are pals and she’s really keen to do her best on Strictly,” added the insider.

Jo, paired with hunk Brendan Cole, has been working very hard and practising the dances for hours on end, which has left her with painful feet.

The mum of four was married to Stones guitarist Ronnie, 62 and has admitted she would never have got the chance to take part in the show if not for the split.

And now she wants to prove that she can stand on her own two feet by winning the show. (ANI)

Pak editorial claims RAW hand in funding Baitullah Mehsud

Peshawar, Aug.24 (ANI): An editorial in a Pakistani daily has claimed that intelligence outfits of India and Afghanistan funded late Tehrik-e-Taliban chief Baitullah Mehsud.

It says that his death in South Waziristan has sparked off a battle among various Taliban warlords to control two billion rupees worth of Taliban funds and own arms and ammunition worth another million rupees.

In an article for the Frontier Post, Shumaila Raja claims there has been a constant flow of tens of millions of dollars from foreign enemy sources that keeps the Taliban machine rolling.

According to Raja, cash pipelines for Mehsud were sustained by Indian external intelligence agency RAW and the Afghan intelligence agency. He further claims that Mehsud was paying Rs.600 million to his fighters every year.

According to Raja, extensive reactionary attacks to Mehsud’s death are inevitable given the aura that he created around himself in the wake of the assassination of former Pakistan Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto in December 2007.

Raja is of the view that Baitullah Mehsud’s murder by a drone strike in South Waziristan could further inflame internal developments in Pakistan.

“The battle for the control of the Rs.3 billion treasure erupted within two days of Baitullah’s death,” Raja says, adding that one occasion when a Taliban commander informed Baitullah about the huge monetary offers he was receiving from the Pakistan Government, Baitullah said: “Money is not with the Government of Pakistan, money is with me, tell me how much you want.”

Officials have also conceded that Mehsud’s money power was such that it was difficult to buy off his key commanders. (ANI)

Bon Jovi ‘to go for world tour next year’

Washington, Aug 22 (ANI): Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora has revealed that the band may go for a world tour next year to promote their upcoming album ‘The Circle.’

“Next year. 2010, probably spring time we’ll get going. And we’re going to go for a long time. It’s going to be a big one,” Contactmusic quoted him as telling Rolling Stone magazine.

The rocker said that Jon Bon Jovi and him were planning to first release greatest hits collection before working on a new album, but as they started they couldn’t stop themselves from making new music.

He said: “We started having so much fun making this record, that we decided we would do a studio album first. It sounds fresh – I think we reinvented ourselves again.

“Jon and I had a wonderful time making it. We’re very proud of it – just getting down to mixing it right now. We hit a very prolific period in our songwriting.”

The long-awaited album will be out in November. (ANI)

Rolling Stones’ banned controversial docu leaked online

Washington, August 21 (ANI): A controversial documentary based on the Rolling Stones while they were touring the US in 1972 has found its way to the Internet.

The veteran rockers put a ban on ‘Cocksucker Blues’ over its content, including rock and roll antics, such as footage showing the musicians taking drugs.

The group placed a court order on the documentary, stating it could hit the screens legally only in the presence of its director photographer Robert Frank, reports Contactmusic.

But the eye-popping film emerged on FlavorWire.com’s blog on August 19.

Referring to the footage, guitarist Keith Richards once said: “If anyone in America saw it, we’d never be let in the country again.” (ANI)

Ronnie Wood’s wife Jo says Kate Moss helped her cope with marriage split

Washington, July 14 (ANI): Rolling Stone guitarist Ronnie Wood’s estranged wife Jo turned to supermodel Kate Moss to get through her split from her husband.

The rocker dumped from his wife of 23 years after his affair with 20-year-old Russian waitress Ekaterina Ivanova was exposed in the press.

Jo was shattered by the news and couldn’t face socialising with friends.

However, she insists that it was Moss who finally persuaded her to get back out on the scene and start enjoying her life.

“It was my friends and family who surrounded me and got me through. But you know what? Kate (Moss) gave me great advice. Even though you feel like it, you can’t hide away. It’s not the end of the world,” she said.

“It was horrendous. For the first few weeks I was in a total state. I didn’t know what to do – I was just crying and I couldn’t believe what had happened.

“I wasn’t going to be broken by my marriage falling apart. When things get rough, Jo gets going. I picked myself up and recycled myself for a whole new life – and the truth is, I think I’m happier than I ever was before,” she added. (ANI)

Michelle Braun makes 90s Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss ‘look like Mary Poppins’

New York, Jun 26 (ANI): A new madam has come to Hollywood and she is said to be making many quake in their shoes, as she has entered into a plea deal with the FBI.

Michelle Braun is said to be the next Heidi Fleiss, who is an American former madam, and the only difference between them is that the former holds more power than the latter, reports the Herald Sun.

“They say she makes nineties Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss look like Mary Poppins,” the Daily Mail stated.

Braun has admitted to operating a vice ring that sold call girls at very expensive rates to very, very prominent people.

The girls, many of whom were models, actresses or Playboy centrefolds, could fetch nearly 50,000 dollars per night for sex, while Fleiss’ girls only got about 10,000 dollars per night.

Their clients allegedly included prominent celebrities, politicians and businesspeople.

“Let’s just say you’d be shocked,” the New York Daily News quoted Marc Nurik, Braun’s lawyer, as saying about the identities of her clients.

Braum reportedly raked in more than 8 million dollars for this venture, and she is said to have charged men roughly 1,600 dollars just to look at the pictures of the girls on her Web site.

Her business would have gone on undisturbed had she not made some suspicious comments to Rolling Stone.

“All I do is make the introductions between famous girls and rich guys who want to meet them,” she had said.

The FBI finally caught Braun when she agreed to fly one of her girls to New York to meet with a man, who was actually an undercover agent. (ANI)

Coming soon: Woodstock, the book

New York, June 19 (ANI): Veteran rock deejay Pete Fornatale has penned a book on Woodstock Festival 40 years after the legendary rockfest shook fans all over the world.

Fornatale attempts to segregate fiction from “400,000 versions of the truth” in his Back to the Garden: The Story of Woodstock.

But the disc spinner, however, said a definitive book on the music festival, billed as An Aquarian Exposition, could probably never be inked.

“Woodstock is an elephant. Perhaps even a big pink one, depending on what you were ingesting back then,” the New York Post quoted him as saying.

Thirty-two of the best-known musicians of the day appeared for the festival held from August 15 to August 18 in 1969 in front of nearly half a million concertgoers.

Other than being widely regarded as one of the greatest moments in popular music history, it was listed on Rolling Stone’s 50 Moments That Changed the History of Rock and Roll.

The event has previously been captured in a successful 1970 documentary movie, Woodstock, and Joni Mitchell’s song Woodstock. (ANI)

Closeness to Bruni’s ex flame Jagger forces Sarkozy to axe Paris ‘love nest’ plans

London, May 19 (ANI): French President Nicolas Sarkozy has cancelled plans of buying a “love nest” in Paris, because wife Carla Bruni’s ex-flame Mick Jagger has a penthouse in the same building, it has emerged.

It was being reported that the 41-year-old supermodel was “very keen” on buying the 10-million pound flat in Paris, however, hubby Sarkozy was “uncomfortable” regarding the proximity to the Rolling Stones singer.

Carla and Mick were an item for three years until 1996, but have stayed in touch, reports The Sun.

A news website reported: “Carla is very excited and is unfazed by the idea of having Mick Jagger two floors above when he is in town.

“The President is thought to be a little less keen.” (ANI)

Tom Waits had forbidden Keith Richards from talking about him for biography

Washington, May 12 (ANI): Rolling Stones star Keith Richards was forbidden to talk about his friendship with Tom Waits to celebrated British journalist Barney Hoskyns by the gravel-voiced singer himself.

Hoskyns approached Richards while researching Waits for his new book ‘Lowside of the Road: A Life of Tom Waits’, and was delighted when the rocker agreed to be interviewed.

“Tom and his wife asked Keith not to speak to me… I just don’t think they want anyone to know too much about Tom Waits. They don’t want any major revelations creeping out,” Contactmusic quoted the writer as saying.

He added: “He’s the pre-eminent cult figure of our time, a maverick who cannot be categorised and his whole persona is a screen Waits hide behind. He’s fascinating and perhaps we don’t need to know too much about him.”

However, Hoskyns conducted over 70 interviews for his unauthorised expose, and he found out that Waits could well be responsible in some way for the Rolling Stones’ longevity.

The writer added: “Steve Jordan, who was Keith’s drummer in ‘The Expensive Winos’ told me that Keith was creatively spent in the mid-1980s and it was Waits’ records that inspired him to go off and do solo work – and that fuelled his work with the Stones.”

Hoskyns will launch his much-anticipated new Waits biography in Los Angeles on May 15 with a book signing at the Mr. Musichead Gallery. (ANI)

Beyonce’s track-altering prankster apologises for hoax

Washington, April 25 (ANI): The student who doctored Beyonce Knowles’ track out of tune has apologised for the prank, saying it “got out of hand”.

Matthew Zeghibe had altered the tunes of a song the R and B queen performed on live TV last November, making her vocals sound ear splitting.

The record found its way on the Internet and became popular amongst fans, bloggers and shock jock Howard Stern, who played the track on his U.S. radio show.

Following the storm, the singer’s father Mathew had insisted the leaked “board mix” had been fiddled with.

Art student Zeghibe finally stepped forward to confess his misdoing, which he claimed was just for fun.

“It was just for a good laugh. It was a goof, just for fun. I do a lot of parodies on my YouTube channel, and it just so happens this one got a little out of hand,” Contactmusic quoted Zeghibe as telling Rolling Stone magazine.

“I was just trying to make a point. I wanted to show people how easy it is to manipulate someone’s voice. If I can do it with a clip I pulled off of TV, imagine what they are doing on records and during live performances.

“The entire industry has been so manipulated, because there’s such an emphasis on perfection, so when something like this happens, it causes such a stir,” he added. (ANI)

‘Milk’ creator turning ‘The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test’ into movie

The movie version of the book, which chronicles writer Ken Kesey’s LSD-dropping band of hippies known as the Merry Pranksters, is being done by American film director Gus Van Sant, reports The New York Post.

Rolling Stone reports that Van Sant, the Oscar-nominated director of “Milk,” originally pictured Heath Ledger in the role of Kesey.

However, he’s now eyeing Jack Black and Woody Harrelson.

Van Sant is also helming the book’s adaptation with Oscar-winning “Milk” scripter Dustin Lance Black. (ANI)

Brooke Hogan defends father’s O.J. comments

Washington, April 18 (ANI): Hulk Hogan’s daughter Brooke has defended her father’s comments made in an interview in which he appeared to have confessed harbouring thoughts of killing his cheating ex-wife, Linda.

Hogan had told Rolling Stone magazine that he “could have turned everything into a crime scene, like O.J.” after finding out that Linda had cheated on him with a 19-year-old lad.

And now, 20-year-old Brooke has jumped to defend her dad, dubbing the allegations “outrageous”.

“I cannot believe how blown out of proportion one small part of a seven-page article has become,” Fox News quoted her as telling Entertainment Tonight.

“It’s a classic case of a quote being taken out of context. I look up to my father in every way.

“He has been through so much and has taken the high road through it all. The idea that he would condone the O.J. situation is just outrageous,” she added. (ANI)

Hulk Hogan says he ‘totally’ understands O.J. Simpson’s anger

New York, Apr 16 (ANI): Semi retired professional wrestler Hulk Hogan is so put off by his wife Linda dumping him and then dating someone 30 years her junior that he is thinking murderous thoughts.

Hogan, 55, who was forced out of his 18 million dollar mansion, also alleges that his wife has started spending his money at the rate of 40,000 dollars a month.

“I could have turned everything into a crime scene, like OJ, cutting everybody’s throat,” the New York Post quoted him as telling Rolling Stone magazine.

“You live half a mile from the 20,000-square-foot home you can’t go to anymore, you’re driving through downtown Clearwater and see a 19-year-old boy driving your Escalade, and you know that a 19-year-old boy is sleeping in your bed, with your wife . . . I totally understand OJ. I get it,” he stated.

Simpson was found not guilty of murder in the 1994 stabbing deaths of his wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ron Goldman, but was found liable for their deaths by a civil court jury.

Simpson later was found guilty in a Las Vegas, Nevada, armed robbery case and sentenced in December to up to 33 years in prison. (ANI)

Ronnie Wood’s young lover’s family calls him ‘Ronik’

London, Apr 14 (ANI): Legendary singer Ronnie Wood has finally been accepted by his young lover’ family, and has also got a nickname Ronik.

Twenty-year-old Ekaterina Ivanova’s granny says she would fondly accept a marriage.

Lyudmila Ivanova, 75, had once called 61-year-old Rolling Stones guitarist “ugly and disgusting”.

“If its real love, let them be happy together,” the Sun quoted Lyudmila as saying.

“It won’t last long. She is much younger than him, so she will have a chance to find another man if something happens to Ronnie.

“This is the way with the modern world,” she added. (ANI)
