Washington, July 14 (ANI): Rolling Stone guitarist Ronnie Wood’s estranged wife Jo turned to supermodel Kate Moss to get through her split from her husband.

The rocker dumped from his wife of 23 years after his affair with 20-year-old Russian waitress Ekaterina Ivanova was exposed in the press.

Jo was shattered by the news and couldn’t face socialising with friends.

However, she insists that it was Moss who finally persuaded her to get back out on the scene and start enjoying her life.

“It was my friends and family who surrounded me and got me through. But you know what? Kate (Moss) gave me great advice. Even though you feel like it, you can’t hide away. It’s not the end of the world,” she said.

“It was horrendous. For the first few weeks I was in a total state. I didn’t know what to do – I was just crying and I couldn’t believe what had happened.

“I wasn’t going to be broken by my marriage falling apart. When things get rough, Jo gets going. I picked myself up and recycled myself for a whole new life – and the truth is, I think I’m happier than I ever was before,” she added. (ANI)

Michelle Braun makes 90s Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss ‘look like Mary Poppins’

New York, Jun 26 (ANI): A new madam has come to Hollywood and she is said to be making many quake in their shoes, as she has entered into a plea deal with the FBI.

Michelle Braun is said to be the next Heidi Fleiss, who is an American former madam, and the only difference between them is that the former holds more power than the latter, reports the Herald Sun.

“They say she makes nineties Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss look like Mary Poppins,” the Daily Mail stated.

Braun has admitted to operating a vice ring that sold call girls at very expensive rates to very, very prominent people.

The girls, many of whom were models, actresses or Playboy centrefolds, could fetch nearly 50,000 dollars per night for sex, while Fleiss’ girls only got about 10,000 dollars per night.

Their clients allegedly included prominent celebrities, politicians and businesspeople.

“Let’s just say you’d be shocked,” the New York Daily News quoted Marc Nurik, Braun’s lawyer, as saying about the identities of her clients.

Braum reportedly raked in more than 8 million dollars for this venture, and she is said to have charged men roughly 1,600 dollars just to look at the pictures of the girls on her Web site.

Her business would have gone on undisturbed had she not made some suspicious comments to Rolling Stone.

“All I do is make the introductions between famous girls and rich guys who want to meet them,” she had said.

The FBI finally caught Braun when she agreed to fly one of her girls to New York to meet with a man, who was actually an undercover agent. (ANI)

Ronnie Wood ‘snubs Jo with fashion line launch’

London, June 24 (ANI): Ronnie Wood has apparently snubbed his estranged wife Jo by beating her to a fashion line launch first.

The Rolling Stone star was said to have teamed up with Liberty of London to produce a clothing range, based on his own wacky gig attire, despite allegedly knowing his ex partner has had the same plans for some time.

“I’d love to bring out my own ethical fashion range. I’ve been thinking about doing really cool T-shirts for a long time now but I just haven’t had time to do it,” The Daily Express quoted Jo as saying.

Jo, who decided to end her 24 years of marriage with the guitarist last month, appeared set to suffer another blow from the rocker, according to sources.

A source close to the Woods said: “Jo was the one who designed Ronnie’s stage outfits. She was the creative brain behind that.

“I’m not sure Ronnie will be that au fait with the intricacies of fabrics and seams. It is a bit of a snub to Jo especially as she has been wanting to launch her own range for some time – and Ronnie knows it.” (ANI)

Coming soon: Woodstock, the book

New York, June 19 (ANI): Veteran rock deejay Pete Fornatale has penned a book on Woodstock Festival 40 years after the legendary rockfest shook fans all over the world.

Fornatale attempts to segregate fiction from “400,000 versions of the truth” in his Back to the Garden: The Story of Woodstock.

But the disc spinner, however, said a definitive book on the music festival, billed as An Aquarian Exposition, could probably never be inked.

“Woodstock is an elephant. Perhaps even a big pink one, depending on what you were ingesting back then,” the New York Post quoted him as saying.

Thirty-two of the best-known musicians of the day appeared for the festival held from August 15 to August 18 in 1969 in front of nearly half a million concertgoers.

Other than being widely regarded as one of the greatest moments in popular music history, it was listed on Rolling Stone’s 50 Moments That Changed the History of Rock and Roll.

The event has previously been captured in a successful 1970 documentary movie, Woodstock, and Joni Mitchell’s song Woodstock. (ANI)

When Mick Jagger’s £100K ice-cream van offer got rejected

London, May 30 (ANI): He may be one of the richest rock stars of all the time, but when it came to buying an ice-cream van, Sir Mick Jagger couldn’t quite cut the deal.

The legendary Rolling Stone frontman recently fell in love with an ice-cream van he spotted while he was on a walk.

It was a beautifully restored 1954 Morris J-type van from which the owner was flogging traditional ice cream on Wandsworth Common near his home in southwest London.

The van’s owner Giuseppe Della Camera had spent ten years and 35,000 pounds to restore the rusting vehicle to perfection, after he spotted it on a farm where it was used as a chicken shed.

However, he plainly refused to sell the van even when Jagger offered him a whopping 100,000 pounds for the vehicle.

“I was working on Wandsworth Common when Sir Mick came up with his son and bought a couple of ice creams,” the Sun quoted Giuseppe as saying.

He added: “He told me he’d really fallen in love with my van and asked me if I would consider selling it. I was stunned when he offered me 100,000 pounds.

Sir Mick has got seven children and I think he probably wanted my van to entertain his grandchildren.”

He turned down Mick’s bid because he had promised daughter Alessia, 12, that he would one day drive her to her wedding in it.

Giuseppe said: “I must admit I was tempted when he offered me 100,000 pounds. But I told him I couldn’t possibly sell it, because it’s always been my dream to drive my daughter Alessia to her wedding one day in my little ice-cream van.” (ANI)

According to them, Jo’s worries increased even further when she realised that Ekaterina had misplaced one of the cards for the Woods’ joint account at posh bank Coutts.

Those close to the couple say that Ronnie ignored his wife’s pleas to keep a closer eye on their funds, and that pushed furious Jo to call in the lawyers and lodge divorce papers.

“Jo knew divorce was on the cards but the Coutts and Co spending was the trigger point,” the News of the World quoted a source as saying. (ANI)

The rocker had parted ways with his wife to be with the 20-year-old former cocktail waitress and was said to have been least bothered during the romantic break.

The source added: “They were giggling like college kids, gazing at the shore and then at each other. They really had the look of love.” (ANI)

Jerry Hall says middle-aged people with younger lovers are ‘creepy’

London, Mar 6 (ANI): Taking a clear jibe at ex-hubby Sir Mick Jagger, Jerry Hall has said that middle-aged people who romance younger partners are “creepy.”

Hall, 52, divorced the 65-year-old Rolling Stone in 1999, and since then the ‘Rolling Stone’ frontman has been linked with a string of women in their twenties.

Talking to V magazine, the American model and actress was apparently mocking Jagger’s fondness for youthful partners.

When asked if she would think about dating a toy-boy, she said that she will any day prefer an old man to a younger one.

“I personally find having a sexual relationship with people in their twenties incredibly boring. I much prefer older people,” The Telegraph quoted her as saying.

She added: “And I find it a bit creepy if you’re having sex with people the same age as your children.”

Jagger’s current girlfriend is the 41-year-old American stylist L’Wren Scott.
