London, September 16 (ANI): Glamour model Melinda Messenger has pledged that she will not drop her layers for a Page 3 spread again.
The British TV presenter, 38, cited her three kids as the reason behind the undertaking.
“I’ve got three children – and I’ve breastfed!” the Sun quoted her as saying.
“I wouldn’t want to do it, it’s just not appropriate. Can you imagine my poor kids’ reaction?” she added.
The 38-year-old has previously posed for underwear lines by lingerie giant Ultimo. (ANI)
London, September 13 (ANI): Debt-ridden Duchess of York Sarah, 49, may soon bag a presenter’s job on the hit lunchtime chat show ‘Loose Women’.
After her guest appearance on the programme earlier this month, Sarah is now desperate to have a permanent seat at the table anongside motormouths like Carol McGiffin and Denise Welch.
Fergie, as she is popularly known, is even said to have begged ITV1 bosses for the job.
“Sarah loved it so much that afterwards she asked to be a panellist,” the News of the World quoted part-time anchor Andrea McLean, 39, as saying.
“We would all jump at the chance. She would be absolutely ideal. We’d love to have her,” McLean added.
Sued by three firms over nearly 25,000 pounds in unpaid bills, Sarah can make up to 50,000 pounds a year if she gets a regular spot on the show.
An ITV1 insider said: “Fergie has a lot of interesting things to say and would be great for Loose Women.” (ANI)
London, Sept 4 (ANI): A former employee of Tyra Banks has sued her claiming she has held back his wages worth thousands of dollars.
Richard Thomas filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles County Superior Court charging the supermodel-turned-TV presenter of not paying him 3, 638 pounds, reports the Daily Star.
According to TMZ.com, Thomas says he is due money for “services rendered as assistant and advisor” to the star.
Although the legal papers insist that Thomas must himself ask Banks for the outstanding amount before filing the case, he says:
“I have not been able to catch (Tyra) while she is in.” (ANI)
London, Sept 2 (ANI): Football hero Gary Lineker and Danielle Bux will tie the knot today in Italy.he Match of the Day presenter Gary will marry the model after having proposed to her last August.
The couple were expected to marry this weekend but it is believed Lineker could hold on no longer.
The 48-year-old Lineker and the 30-year-old Bux will splurge a cool 250,000 pounds at their wedding bash.
The couple have rented an entire five-star hotel in Ravello on the Amalfi coast.
At least 100 family members and friends are expected to attend the wedding.
The couple also plan to attend a party on board a luxury yacht hosted by former Radio 1 DJ Spoony.
The Mirror quoted a pal as saying: “It’s going to be a really fantastic day. They have invited only close friends and family as they want it to be an intimate and special occasion, not an over-the-top Wag-style do.
“They chose Italy because it is Danielle’s favourite place.
“Gary has booked out the whole of the hotel because he wants to give his bride a wonderful and magical day.
“They’re very in love and can’t wait to be Mr and Mrs Lineker.”

Washington, Sep 1 (ANI): Israeli-born model/TV presenter Moran Atias has revealed that she was first noticed in Israel after Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi introduced her to then Prime Minister Ariel Sharon.
“A reporter was covering a meeting between then Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and Silvio Berlusconi,” Maxim magazine quoted her as saying.
“Berlusconi told the reporter in the middle of the interview, ‘We have a wonderful Israeli girl working on our television.’
“Ariel Sharon had no idea what he was talking about. An Israeli making it in Italian cinema and speaking fluent Italian is like someone walking on the moon,” she said.
Asked whether Berlusconi ever made a pass at her, Atias said that she knew about the way he helped other girls.
“No, but he’s such a charismatic man, Look, it’s not new that he’s always had several girls that he’s been… helping. That’s a party of Italy I don’t really like,” she added. (ANI)

London, Aug 29 (ANI): A model has revealed that British comedian Russell Brand lures women by posting Tweets and has a pretty adventurous sex life.
The television presenter apparently loves threesome and offered Brooke Adams free tickets for MTV Music awards to sleep with her via Twitter.
Some of his posts inviting her to townhouse in Hampstead, north London read: “Where do you live? Near London? And can you bring a friend?”
While another went: “Confirm your friend, darling, as I am in the mood for adventure,” reports the Sun.
Brooke narrated the events leading to the sex act with the comedian.
She said: “I got a cab to his house and the security guard opened the gates and let me in.
“Russell poked his head round the door – and when he opened it I realised he was totally naked.
“He took me through to the kitchen and offered me a drink – although he has no alcohol in the house.
“Then he asked me to perform a sex act on him – I’d had a few to drink and had always fancied him, so I did it.
“He was very complimentary, even though he was eating a plum at the time!”

London, Aug.20 (ANI): The BBC’s Asian Network is at the center of a race row after Sikhs accused the digital radio station of being insensitive towards their religion.
The BBC were forced to remove a show from their website after Adil Ray, a popular Muslim presenter, received threats from Sikh listeners who accused him of denigrating one of their religious symbols, The Telegraph reports.
The row centres around a show broadcast earlier this month in which Ray discussed a Punjabi music concert in Canada where police had banned a number of Sikhs who refused to remove their “kirpan” dagger. number of listeners believed that Ray had been disparaging about whether Sikhs really needed to carry their kirpan – a ceremonial symbol that baptised Sikhs are expected to wear at all times – and began making complaints and threats against him.
The Birmingham-based network has strongly denied the accusations or any suggestion that Ray meant to mock Sikhism.
The row has nonetheless raised fresh questions over whether the digital network, which was set up eight years ago after the BBC’s then director general Greg Dyke described the corporation as “hideously white”, is serving its Asian listeners.
Last year, Labour peer Lord Ahmed accused the network of being biased against Muslims in favour of Sikhs and Hindus, although an internal investigation by the BBC later exonerated it.
The Sikh Media Monitoring Group has written to the BBC asking for a full transcript of Adil Ray’s show and accused the station of being insensitive towards Sikh listeners. (ANI)
London, July 9 (ANI): Jade Goody’s family is reportedly livid with her husband Jack Tweed for missing her memorial service over a raunchy music video shoot.
Jade’s two sons by TV presenter Jeff Brazier – Bobby, six, and Freddie, four, her mother Jackiey and even Jack’s brother Lewis attended the half-hour service of unveiling of a memorial stone and bench in London.
“A few members of the family are upset to say the least,” The Sun quoted a pal as saying.
Jackiey’s boyfriend Jason Cooper also attended the commemoration of Jade, who died aged 27 after losing her fight to cervical cancer in March, while Jack filmed for a video for new girl band Bubble G.
Jack’s publicist Max Clifford defended him, saying that the widower was informed just 24 hours’ before the service, and had already made the commitment.
He said: “There will be a proper memorial ceremony in future, which Jack will be involved in.” (ANI)
London, Jul 7 (ANI): A jobcentre looking for a candidate to host a pornographic television channel has shocked many with its advertisement.
The advert for the position of ‘Adult TV Channel Presenter’ was on the Jobcentre Plus website, and it states that the successful candidate would be required to work ‘semi-nude’.
And also that the job ‘may cause embarrassment to some people’, although it pays 220 pounds per shift.
The winning applicant will work three days a week from 9pm until 5am, but will have no pension entitlement.
“Duties involve explicit sexual dialogue which may cause embarrassment to some people,” the Telegraph quoted the advert as reading.
“The successful applicant (will be) required to be semi-nude.
“Duties will involve working on a well known adult TV channel which may cause embarrassment to some people.
“Must have good spoken communication skills as will be taking calls from the general public live on air,” it stated.
The ad for the London-based job also states that applicants have to be aged over 18.
“There is no obligation to consider making an application for this vacancy,” it added.
A spokesman for Revolver Models, which placed the ad, said that applications had to go through the Jobcentre, but said the applicant did not have to send photos of themselves to the company.
“We are looking for a male or a female to take this role,” he said.
The firm’s website also states that ‘TV work is now available’, adding: “Do you love to perform in front of a TV camera? Are you looking for a well-paid job? Are you comfortable with nudity? If the answer is yes to all of the above then contact us for more details (no sex involved).”
Sophie Randall-Price, 25, who is looking for a job and saw the advert, was a little surprised.
“I couldn’t believe when I saw this,” she said.
“I’m broad-minded, but to think they want us to apply to such a sleazy job is really a bit too much.
“I’m willing to work hard, but I’m not willing to whip my top off and talk dirty to a bunch of weirdos in the middle of the night on national TV,” she added.
A spokesman for the Department for Work and Pensions said: “The Jobcentre Plus has a duty to advertise any legal job.” (ANI)

“It’s just girly fun at first. But it might progress into something more serious. It depends how viewers respond,” the Daily Star quoted a source as saying.

London, May 29 (ANI): Music mogul Simon Cowell’s ex-lover Terri Seymour’s request for a temporary restraining order against the woman who tried to strangle her at a taping of the American Idol finale last week has been granted.
Janice Thibodeaux has been charged with misdemeanour assault after attacking the TV presenter, reports the Daily Express.
Thibodeaux said that she decided to attack Seymour because she was upset after watching Cowell jokingly choking fellow judge Paula Abdul on the finale of the hit U.S. TV show.
In the application for a restraining order, made at LA’s County Superior Court, Seymour says that former security guard Thibodeaux “put her in a headlock, wrenched her neck and choked her with the full force of her 200lb frame”.
The 35-year-old insists that she could have been “injured or killed” if Thibodeaux had not been restrained by nearby cops.
In the papers, Seymour also said the woman was “feeding from the publicity of the attack” and feared the fan “will again assault and harass” her. (ANI)
London, May 25 (ANI): Ben Stiller will be bagging one of the biggest honours at this year’s MTV Movie Awards-the Generation Award.
The ‘Meet The Parents’ funnyman has been selected as the recipient of the prestigious award for giving cinemagoers some of the funniest characters of the last decade, including Zoolander, Gaylord Focker and Tugg Speedman.
The 43-year-old comic started his career with his own MTV series in the early 1990s, but it was subsequently cancelled after one season.
However, the actor fondly remembers his time at the channel, and jokingly confessed that he romanced veteran MTV presenter J.J. Jackson.
“I am honoured to be getting the Generation Award. I was given my first show at MTV and also cancelled for the first time. I also was secretly having an affair with J.J. Jackson, so it brings back pleasant memories,” the Daily star quoted him as saying.

Colin Steinberg met Myleene at the Cannes Film Festival and is now considering roping her in a movie where she would play a cannibal, reports Contactmusic.
Colin said: “She has that golden age grace and glamour.
“We have spent months auditioning for a beautiful, confident British woman to take on this challenging role.
“I gather she is very tied up with her TV work, but we will negotiate about filming it next summer.”

London, May 21 (ANI): Television presenter Terri Seymour was attacked by a wild fan after the filming of American Idol finale.
The former girlfriend of American Idol judge Simon Cowell was left gasping, after the woman twice her size pounced on her and tried to choke her.
“It was all so sudden…. Very scary. Nothing like this has ever happened to me before. She came over to me and said, ‘You’re that girl from TV, right?” the Mirror quoted Terri as saying.
“And I said, ‘Yeah.’ The next thing I know, this woman had me in a headlock and tried to choke me,” she added.
Terri was saved as the security arrived quickly, and dragged the huge woman away from her.
“The woman was double her size and if she had been on her own she would have had no chance against her. Thankfully her producer was with her and managed to drag the woman off and alert the police,” a source said.
The attacker was taken into custody, charged with battery, and later released on a bail of 52,700 dollars. (ANI)

Jones, 32, and 19-year-old Panettiere were on Elton John’s fella David Furnish’s yacht, moored in Cannes, on May 18, reports the Sun.
The T4 presenter, who has dated stars from Pamela Anderson to Halle Berry, seems to keep up his playboy ways, as he got steamy with the Heroes star.

Racist Oz radio presenter tells bashed Indian students to go home
Sydney, July 2 (ANI): A presenter for a New South Wales community radio station has been reprimanded for several racist remarks, which included one statement where she urged attacked Indian students to go back home to study.
Terrie-Anne Verney, a presenter and sales representative for Griffith FM radio station 2MIA, was reprimanded after it was revealed that she was the administrator of several racist and anti-immigration groups on famous social networking website Facebook, the Sydney Morning Herald reports.
According to reports, she was the administrator of group like “F-ff, We’re Full” and had joined groups like “Stop the Islamisation of Australia while we still can”, “Australian Conservative United Party”, the “Australian Protectionist Party” and “Australians against Multiculturalism”.
She was reported to have written extremely rude comments about the recently attacked Indian students in Australia, saying that attacked Indian students were “playing the victim card” and the “shit around their head must do something to their brain”.
“Maybe a gun to their head might help them get the hint that they are not wanted here!!,” Verney reportedly wrote on one of her Facebook group.
In various posts on the site, she made a mockery of foreigners who did not have a good grasp of English.
“If we allow the Islamic faith to continue to grow, sooner or later the Australian way of life will be destroyed,” Verney wrote in another post.
Meanwhile, Edna Wakley, president of the Griffith Community FM Association and station manager at 2MIA, has expressed disbelief at Verney’s remarks, saying that she was unaware of the incident until Wednesday.
“It is disappointing that this staff member’s actions could place a cloud over the integrity of this Association and all that it has achieved in Ethnic Broadcasting, multiculturalism and the community at large,” a statement released by the radio station said. (ANI)
