New York, May 10 (ANI): In more Lindsanity, a new music track by the singer/actress has been leaked online. Lohan alleged that someone is leaking her tracks and that it’s not her.

“i don”t know who, but someone keeps leaking my tracks! i can assure everyone, it is NOT me,” The New York Daily News quoted Lohan as writing on Twitter on Friday.

“i”ve decided to do a music video rather than…let my tracks just go to waste…need some time to choose a director and such* in regards to “can”t stop”.”

Lohan took a break from recording a year after she began working on her third album after signing with Universal Motown in 2007

The release of ‘Can”t’ – and the single ‘Stuck’ earlier this year – suggest Lohan may be back on track and if so, will have to juggle her time between the music studio and the sets.

Her next movie projects include Robert Rodriguez”s ‘Machete’ where her role is that of a gun-happy socialite, and ‘Deep Throat’, where she will play porn star Linda Lovelace. (ANI)

Madonna puts music career on hold to concentrate on new film

London, May 5 (ANI): Madonna has kept her music career on the sidelines to concentrate on planning her upcoming movie W.E., insisting that she doesn”t have the “time or energy” to sing.

The Pop Queen is preparing to direct the drama she”s co-written and has admitted that her latest project has completely “consumed” her working life.

“I”ve been writing it for the last two and a half years, to tell you the truth. It”s been kind of an obsession of mine. I started writing it when I finished filming (2008 directorial debut) Filth and Wisdom. It was actually an idea I had before that, but I made Filth and Wisdom because I realised that I didn”t really have a right to make a bigger film until I made a smaller film – and learned how to make a film,” the Daily Star quoted her as telling Interview magazine.

And the Material Girl has insisted that she is so busy with the film, she has no time to make any new music.

“I don”t have a record deal right now with anybody. I don”t know how I”m going to get my music out the next time I make a record. I”m going to have to reinvent the wheel. I haven”t really been focused as much as I should be on the music part of my career, because this movie has just consumed every inch of me.

“Between that and my four children, I don”t have the time or the energy for anything else. For example, I do appreciate that lots of people worked long and hard putting together things like the DVD of the Sticky & Sweet Tour that we just released, and I have seen the finished product, but I have got no idea how people are going to find out about it or how it”s going to be sold,” she added. MJ’s new songs not to be released anytime soon

London, July 10 (ANI): While sales of Michael Jackson’s earlier albums have boosted in the past few weeks, the new music recorded by the late King of Pop before his death is not expected to be release anytime soon, revealed president of his record label Epic.

Jackson had been working on new music for several years with hip-hop and R and B stars like Will.i.am, Ne-Yo and Akon.

“We just want to pay our respects to Michael. We don’t want to be seen to be jumping on any bandwagon associated with his death,” the BBC quoted Amanda Ghost as saying.

In an interview with BBC 6 Music, Ghost said that “the appetite is definitely there” for new material.

“If we do release anything of unreleased material, it has to be fantastic and it can’t damage in any way his legacy or his legend and I won’t let that happen at Epic.

“I have no idea when it’s coming out, but it will come out on Sony/Epic. We haven’t made any decisions because we just want to be respectful for his memory and not be seen in any way as trying to cash in,” she added.

In fact, the release of new music could also be delayed as legal negotiations over his estate continue.

Bruce Swedien, a producer and engineer who worked on ‘Off The Wall’ and ‘Thriller’, has said that he believed Jackson was working on instrumental music as well as a pop album. (ANI)

Mariah Carey dresses up like Eminem in new video

New York, July 1 (ANI): Pop star Mariah Carey took a dig at her ex-boyfriend Eminem, as she dressed up as the rapper in a new music video.

The 39-year-old singer dressed up as a man twice in her new video ‘Obsessed’, directed by Brett Ratner.

At first, Carey impersonated a male rapper, which bears a striking resemblance to Eminem, reports the New York Daily News.

And later, the diva dressed as a male bellhop before ending the day in a tight snakeskin number.

Rapper Nick Cannon is persuading wife Carey to perform at America’s Got Talent.

Cannon has replaced Jerry Springer as the host on the new season, which kicked off in the US earlier this week.

He insists that viewers could get a superstar thrown in with the wannabe acts – hinting Carey may takeover the stage as she’s a huge fan of the series. (ANI)

Conspiracy theorists claim Jacko ‘faked death’ for ultimate comeback

London, July 1 (ANI): Just days after Michael Jackson died, rumours are flooding the Internet that he faked his own death.

Thousands of fans have been logging onto websites to join wacky conspiracy theories that the singer is still alive and is just getting ready to make a spectacular comeback.

One website has released a photo it says is of Jacko on Sunday – three days after his death – although it does not show his face and there’s no proof the snap is new.

Another says that the singer has been planning this for nearly a year-and-a-half and is now in hiding in Eastern Europe.

However, there is no hard evidence to support these claims, reports the Sun.

Another site has released a photo it claims is of Jacko, insisting the man who died on Thursday was the singer’s body double with a terminal illness whose family will be looked after in return.

A message reads: “Over the past few days there have been many Michael sightings. People have e-mailed with pictures and amazing stories.

“Michael is alive and well and happier than ever. The plot was 10 years in the making but it had to be done.

“We know he is alive because we have seen pictures. Clear pictures taken June 26, 2009 of Michael Jackson lounging poolside with friends.

“This site is dedicated to bringing the truth to his fans and ultimately to provide a forum for Michael to communicate with them.

“We feel he was forced to fake his death the same way companies are forced into bankruptcy.

“Those close to Michael have known about the plot for years, it was a very expensive and intricate venture.

“The man who died had a terminal illness and his death was long overdue. He was given facial surgery to resemble Michael exactly. No doubt his family will be taken care of.

“Soon we think Michael’s new music will be out.

“Under a different name and with a drastically altered face, which sounds better than ever, even though a harmonizer has been used to disguise his voice.

“Michael wants to connect with his fans, he only wants to run from those who would seek to control him,” the message said.

Another site also claims that Jacko’s death is a stunt.

It claims: “Once he is rested and ready will blow the lid off his own hoax and then embark on the most spectacularly lucrative concert tour in the history of rock ‘n’ roll.” (ANI)

Washington, June 25 (ANI): A representative for Chris Brown has slammed reports that the singer posted a song online about his ex-girlfriend Rihanna.umours started making rounds after a new set of tunes recorded by Brown appeared online – with one of the tracks, ‘Not My Fault’, apparently hinting at the row on the eve of the Grammy Awards in February (09) that left Rihanna battered and bruised.

However, a spokesperson for Brown’s label, Jive Records, has denied that the songs were recorded around the time of the attack or after the court case on 22 June (09) – insisting they are old demos.

“Countering misleading reports of ‘new’ Chris Brown music: there are no ‘new’ songs from Chris Brown currently being promoted by Chris or his record label,” Contactmusic quoted the rep as saying in a statement.

“There are several old demos circulating that are being falsely promoted as new material from Chris,” the rep added.

Brown has been sentenced to six months community service, five years probation and ordered not to go within 50 yards of Rihanna. (ANI)

“I still can’t believe Brit Air discriminated me for tatts. Unheard of. the guy was literally disgusted by me. I’m gonna write a letter!!” he said.

“I did end up covering my tats. It’s not my style to cause a scene, I just had a convo with the BA guy, told him how it was discrimination.

“Yes I covered up to board the BA flight. I didn’t want to miss it. And honestly I was embarrassed all the people were staring and laughing!

“It’s not in the rules that I can find. My tatts arent offensive. Looking into it. I havent felt this small since the first time i asked nic (partner Nicole Richie) out,” he added. (ANI)

However, Timberlake has now said that he is no hurry to make a new solo record, as he is happy producing other artists’ songs.

“Right now, I like the idea that things can just kind of pop up and if they feel right I can do them. Committing to my own sort of project, that’s like, ‘Okay, let me block out two years of my life and do it,’” Contactmusic quoted him as telling Entertainment Weekly.

He added: “I was heavily fulfilled with the last one and I always have this thing with myself that if I can’t sleep because I need to do it, then I’m gonna do it. But if I’m not losing sleep over it then…” (ANI)

Biggest New Zealand retailer to charge for plastic bags – 10 New Zealand cents (about 5 US cents)

Wellington – New Zealand’s biggest retail variety chain, The Warehouse, will start charging 10 New Zealand cents (about 5 US cents) for plastic shopping bags next month to protect the environment, according to news reports Wednesday.

The company, which has 128 variety and discount stationery stores, says it wants to take 20 million bags out of circulation in the next year.

The Warehouse, which is New Zealand’s biggest footwear and music retailer, said that surveys at four trial stores revealed that 85 per cent of customers would not use plastic bags if they had to pay for them.

The stores will sell reusable shopping bags for 1 New Zealand dollar.

New Zealand has reduced the use of plastic bags by about 100 million a year since a number of retail chains signed a packaging accord to discourage them in 2004, the New Zealand Herald reported. (dpa)
