Cowell, 50, proposed to the make-up artist Mezhgan Hussainy earlier this year (10), and the couple is currently planning its wedding.

However, Cowell is wary of having children with his fiancee because he would feel too old to play with them.

“I worry about that (having children) because of my age. When I was younger, my dad used to play soccer and games with me and I worry – I worry that if I was 70…” the Daily Star quoted him as telling Oprah Winfrey. (ANI)

Jordan to replace Cowell as Britain’s Got Talent judge?

London, Apr 17 (ANI): Simon Cowell is planning to bid adieu to his seat on Britain’s Got Talent’s judging panel and has hinted Jordan a.k.a Katie Price could take his place.

The music mogul will take a more behind-the-scenes role next year because he has had enough of sitting through thousands of auditions.

Cowell claims the ITV show can easily continue without him on camera, reports The Daily Star.

Cowell said: “I am looking at whether I have a different role next year. I am considering coming just for the semi-finals. I like the show but it takes a hell of a lot of time.

“You sit there watching horrific acts and you think: ‘I genuinely can’t do this any more.’

“Can I see it working without me? Yes.”

When asked if reality star Jordan could join the show, he teased: “Well those are your words not mine. But Jordan is a friend. It’s too early to say what will happen.

“Whoever takes over has to really know what they are talking about. You have to spot a star, nurture them, mentor them.” (ANI)

Simon Cowell ‘seeks assurance from Dannii Minogue over X Factor role’

London, Mar 31 (ANI): Pregnant Dannii Minogue is said to have been given two weeks by music mogul Simon Cowell to satisfy his concerns about her returning as a judge on The X Factor.

Cowell, 50, is worried that her baby delivery in July could upset production on the ITV1 show, which starts filming within weeks.

“Simon is genuinely concerned about whether Dannii will be able to cope with the show. It’s hard enough for someone who doesn’t have young kids,” the Sun quoted a source as saying.

“As well as the actual show, there is the mentoring and all the backbiting and bitchiness that goes with that.

“It’s not easy keeping sane when you’re surrounded by youngsters desperate for fame who are relying on you to tell them what to do,” the source stated.

Minogue, 38, whose boyfriend is British rugby league ace Kris Smith, showed little sign of cutting back on March 30 as she flew from Melbourne to Perth for auditions for Australia’s Got Talent.

She wants to return to the X Factor, but will miss the early rounds because she wants to have the baby in her native Oz.

If bosses do keep her on, they will have to find stand-in judges, which Cowell knows will look odd.

He is hoping to make a decision in a fortnight. (ANI)

The source added: “He”s obviously a big fan of cars but Mish is too.

“The theme of the wedding is Miracles Do Happen Simon getting married just goes to prove it!

“I can”t believe the big man is actually doing it, but I am convinced he”s going to, even though it”s going against everything he has ever said.

“Its beautiful, it really is.

“It will be a pretty surreal do Salvador Dali-inspired. There”ll be angels and all sorts everywhere.

“It will be amazing,” she said.

Sinitta has already put forward the idea of having melted clocks all over the place a nod to the Spanish surrealists famous painting, The Persistence of Memory.

Melting candle work angels and demons a nod to Cowell”s Jekyll and Hyde TV personality will adorn the reception, while waiters will wear oriental clothes, as favoured by Dali.

The venue has yet to be confirmed, but Cowell and his bride-to-be make-up artist Mezhgan Hussainy are expected to tie the knot in the UK, close to where his mother lives in west Sussex.

The wedding date is also not yet known, but it is rumoured to be taking place in early September.

Sinitta is just praying that her multi-millionaire ex-boyfriend wont plump for September 11 for obvious reasons.

“I don”t like that date, it has horrible associations. If he has it then it will be as if the wedding is going to be the next disaster, and that”s not very nice is it?” she added. (ANI)

MJ had secret hitlist of ‘enemies’

Washington, Sept 18 (ANI): Late singer Michael Jackson maintained a secret list of enemies, which only his closest associates were aware of.

The King of Pop’s former manager Dieter Wiesner has revealed that Jackson had a secret hit list of the people who he wanted to be kept away from him at all times.

The list included ex-friends Uri Geller and Rabbi Schmuley Boteach, Santa Barbara, California, District Attorney Tom Sneddon, who tried to put Jackson behind bars on child molestation charges and lawyer Glora Allred.

Wiesner admitted he transcribed the list as his client reeled off names.

“Sometimes he was a little bit paranoid… I’d ask him, ‘Michael, what are you doing…?’ He said… ‘These people are after me and they want to destroy my life,’” Contactmusic quoted him as saying.

The list of enemies also included music mogul Tommy Mottola and Janet Arviso, who accused Jackson of molesting her son at his Neverland Ranch home. (ANI)

Phil Spector thinks he will die in “snake pit” jail

Washington, Aug 20 (ANI): Jailed music magnate Phil Spector fears other inmates so much that he has asked his lawyers to get him shifted to a “better prison.”

The record producer was sentenced to life imprisonment in May this year, for the murder of actress Lana Clarkson. He is currently lodged at Corcoran Prison in Los Angeles.

Spector, 69, shares the jail with murderer Charles Manson and Sirhan Sirhan, who shot U.S. Senator Robert Kennedy.

Spector is so terrified by others around him that he doesn’t step outside his cell, reports Contactmusic.

The music mogul described the jail as a “snake pit” in letters to his friend, musician/journalist Steve Escobar.

He wrote: “Imagine sending me to the same prison – shows how low they can go.

They’d kill you in here for a 39-cent bag of soup! I know it is a chance to get out of my cell going to the dining room but the less I see of the inmates, the better and safer I feel. Even though 24/7 lockdown in a 3′ by 7′ cell is very tough.”

Spector also mentioned that he had instructed his lawyers to “get a better prison with people more like myself in it during the appeal process instead of all these lowlife scumbags, gangsters and Manson types…” (ANI)

He once told Playboy magazine: “Don’t talk to me about ethics. Every man makes his own. It’s like a war.”

Klein said he had been roped in by John Lennon in 1969 since the Beatle wanted “a real shark – someone to keep the other sharks away” and protect the interests of the band.

By the time he extracted a lucrative recording deal for The Beatles, the four had already gone off the talking terms, with the group splitting in 1970.

Klein funeral is set to take place in New York on July 7. (ANI)

Simon Cowell’s ex begs him to cut down on work

Cowell, who turns 50 this year, has reportedly been offered $143.6 million to continue his role as a judge on “American Idol” once his contract runs out next May, reports imdb.com.

Seymour however fears the star won’t have time to enjoy his riches because he’s too busy striving after big bucks to have a social life and she feels her former lover who fronts “Idol” as well as British shows “X Factor” and “Britain’s Got Talent” will have to give up some of his work commitments in the near future.

“I think all his work is tiring Simon out and he’s finding it hard. He’d hate me saying this but he’s not as young as he used to be,” she said.

“He’s got such a tough schedule and at some point one of the shows will have to give. We’ll just have to wait and see which one,” she added.
