London, September 16 (ANI): Lady GaGa continued her shock tactics as she stepped out in a bizarre see-through red lace catsuit teamed up with eye mask and eccentric spiky hair piece at the New York fashion week.

The singer’s modesty was said to be hardly covered by a barely there red G-string and an almost-strategically placed ruffle on her costume.

Meanwhile, the 23-year-old recently gave a blood-covered performance and faked her own death at the MTV Video Music Awards, during which she changed her outfit five times, reports the Daily Mail.

However, the ‘Poker Face’ hitmaker’s appearance was said to be a little toned down at the Marc Jacobs Spring Summer 2010 fashion show after party, where she bumped into fellow ‘shocker’ Madonna.

Madonna admitted she was “very flattered” by comparisons to the newcomer.

The Queen of Pop complimented the star, saying: “She looks like she’s going to a carnival in Venice, very beautiful.” (ANI)

Kanye West says sorry for interrupting Taylor Swift at VMA

London, Sept 14 (ANI): Kanye West has apologized for jumping onto the stage at the MTV Video Music Awards while Taylor Swift was giving her acceptance speech.

The Telegraph quoted West as writing on his blog: “I’M SOOOOO SORRY TO TAYLOR SWIFT AND HER FANS AND HER MOM. I SPOKE TO HER MOTHER RIGHT AFTER AND SHE SAID THE SAME THING MY MOTHER WOULD’VE SAID. SHE IS VERY TALENTED!”

West had stormed onto the stage to protest that Beyonce had been overlooked for the Best Female Video for her “Single Ladies.”

Swift had beaten Beyonce to bag the honour.

West had interrupted her speech and had said: “Taylor, I’m really happy for you, and I’m gonna let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time.”

However, West still believes Beyonce deserved the honour.

He writes: “BEYONCE’S VIDEO WAS THE BEST OF THIS DECADE!!!! … EVERYBODY WANNA BOOOOO ME BUT I’M A FAN OF REAL POP CULTURE!!! NO DISRESPECT BUT WE WATCHIN’ THE SHOW AT THE CRIB RIGHT NOW CAUSE … WELL YOU KNOW!!!! I’M STILL HAPPY FOR TAYLOR!!!!” (ANI)

Kanye West ruins Taylor Swift’s VMA acceptance speech

Washington, Sept 14 (ANI): Singer Taylor Swift’s excitement of winning the Best Female Video award was marred by Kanye West when he jumped up on the stage and stated that Beyonce Knowles should have won.

The 19-year-old songtress won the Best Female Video award for ‘You Belong With Me’ but as she started her acceptance speech, West, who had been drinking Hennessy on the red carpet appeared on stage and stated that Beyonce should have won for “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It),” reports Usmagazine.com.

He said, “Yo, Taylor, I’m really happy for you, and I’m going to let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time. One of the best videos of all time!”

Swift and Beyonce, who was in the audience, were left stunned and speechless.

The crowed then booed West off stage.

However, Knowles let Swift have her moment when she won ‘Video of the Year’ award at the MTV Video Music Awards.

She asked Swift to join her on stage and said, “I remember being 17-years old, up for my first MTV award for Destiny’s Child and it was one of the most exciting moments of my life.”

“So I would like for Taylor to come out and have her moment,” she added. (ANI)

Madonna’s heartfelt MJ tribute

Washington, September 14 (ANI): In her recent tribute to Michael Jackson, Madonna held herself and others responsible for ‘abandoning’ the late star.

The Queen of Pop, while speaking at the MTV Video Music Awards in New York City, recalled her time spent with the King of Pop in 1991, when the two went out to dinner.

Madonna revisited the memories when she joked about trying to get the singer to eat French fries, drink and say “bad words”, reports Us magazine.

The two later went to her house to watch a film and “his hand snuck over and held mine,” and “in that moment, he felt like a human being,” she added.

The ‘Material Girl’ confessed that over the years she lost touch with Jackson, who died of acute propofol intoxication on June 25.

When he passed away, “all I could think about him in that one moment was, ‘I had abandoned him,’ that we had abandoned him,” she said.

She went on: “That we had allowed this magnificant creature that once set the world on fire somehow slip through the cracks.

“When he was trying to build a family and rebuild his career, we were all busy passing judgment. Most of us had turned our backs on him… Sometimes, we have to lose things before we can truly appreciate them…” (ANI)

Madame Tussauds unveils Britney’s ‘comeback’ waxwork

London, Feb 17 (ANI): Britney Spears has been immortalised in a new waxwork at Madame Tussauds in London, which shows the singer clutching an award to represent her successful comeback.

The UK museum has created the waxwork because the old one was made eight years ago.

Since 2001, the ‘Sometimes’ hitmaker has snogged Madonna, married twice, become a mother, shaved her head, lost custody of her children and been hospitalised for psychiatric evaluation.

The statue, which was unveiled in London, shows the 27-year-old singer in a sparkly silver dress with plunging neckline, holding one of the three MTV Video Music Awards she won in September last year, reports Sky News.

Liz Edwards from the waxwork museum said they needed to recreate her ‘one more time’ because “her original figure captured a provocative pose from her 2001 Dream Within A Dream Tour and was extremely popular.

“However, she’s undergone a huge transformation since then and we wanted to reflect her as she is now.”

The ‘comeback queen’ recently released her sixth studio album Circus, a follow-up to her album Blackout which was popular with the critics despite expectations due to her well-documented personal troubles.

Spears is one of the top-selling artists of the last decade and has sold more than 62 million albums worldwide. (ANI)

Courtney Love wants Madonna to ‘stay the hell away from London’

London, February 12 (ANI): Courtney Love has put out a word of caution for her rival Madonna, asking her to maintain her distance from London, once she moves there permanently.

The rocker, who hurled a compact mirror at the Queen of Pop at the 1995 MTV Video Music Awards, revealed she wanted to ditch Los Angeles for the English countryside.

And she warned her bitter foe Madonna, who recently relocated to New York, not to come near the capital.

“Madonna had better stay the hell away from London when I move here to live! There’s no room for us both,” the Daily Express quoted her as saying.

“Buckinghamshire is where I want to go. I’m fed up with L.A. It’s full of crazy people. People criticise Britain but it is still a cleaner, safer place to live than Hollywood,” she added. (ANI)

Tokio Hotel’s third album delayed till next year

Hamburg – Tokio Hotel will not have its third album available till early next year, the German hit band’s manager said Sunday, dashing hopes among teenage fans of a release this year.

He said the band would also release a DVD on December 5 in Germany, Austria and Switzerland that would include footage of Bill Kaulitz in the recording studio making the new album. (dpa)
