Kate Moss robbed of £80K Banksy portrait

London, May 21 (ANI): Super model Kate Moss has been robbed of a Banksy portrait worth 80,000 pounds along with other valuable artworks.

Moss, her partner Jamie Hince and mother Linda, were asleep when the burglars broke into the house.

It is believed that the robbery occurred around 4am on Thursday and the robbers may have escaped following disturbances when Moss or Hince woke up.

The police have arrested a 24-year-old man and are questioning him.

“Camden Police are investigating a burglary at Greville Road, NW6, from approximately 4.20am on Thursday, May 20,” The Telegraph quoted a police spokesman as saying.

“A 24-year-old man was arrested in connection with it and inquiries are ongoing,” he added.

Moss recently spent hundreds of thousands of pounds on works by Banksy, the guerrilla artist, including a 12ft by 18ft mural of herself and several celebrity friends which she reportedly commissioned at a cost of 150,000 pounds. (ANI)

Button favours big decisions to make Formula One exciting

London, Mar 22 (ANI): F1 champion Jenson Button insists big decisions must be made if Formula One fails to brighten up over the next few races.

Button was furious as the new regulations turned last week’s Bahrain Grand Prix into a procession.

It means the pressure is on for F1 over the next three races, starting in Australia next Sunday, The Sun reports.

Button said: “I don’t know how we are going to make the racing more exciting than it is. I hope it’s just because of the layout in Bahrain and it was the first race.”

“It’s annoying because it’s a sport I love and it’s tough to see a procession. There’s still every chance it’s going to be a fantastic season. We just have to see what happens over the next few races.

“But if it’s not going in the right direction, then people have to start making the decisions,” he added.

Button’s McLaren teammate Lewis Hamilton even said his mother Linda was bored at Bahrain.

And the former world champion thinks Red Bull are the team to beat this season despite Ferrari one-two in the opening race.

He said: “You’ve got to assume the next race will be more exciting. The track should be more favourable as it’s a street circuit. But the Red Bull is ridiculously faster than anyone else. It’s insane.” (ANI)

Brooke Hogan polishing pole-dancing skills

London, June 19 (ANI): Brooke Hogan can certainly earn big bucks for a talent other than singing-pole dancing.

In an episode of her reality show ‘Brooke Knows Best’, the singer, her mother Linda and a pal have been shown while polishing their pole dancing skills.

The episode will show Brooke getting quickly at ease with the pole, as she displayed some raunchy moves pretty fast.

Brooke is the daughter of wrestling legend Hulk Hogan.

Her new album ‘The Redemption’ will be releasing next week.

According to British tabloid The Sun, her record has described it as a “pop wonderland with up-beat, sexy dance rhythms and hip-hop influences, all overlaid with Brooke’s signature voice.” (ANI)

Mom’s no show at Brooke Hogan’s 21st birthday bash

Washington, May 13 (ANI): Brooke Hogan’s mother Linda Bollea was notably absent from her daughter’s 21st birthday party.

The singer brought in her coming-of-age birth anniversary last week at Sin City’s Spago Restaurant alongside her boyfriend, father Hulk, brother Nick, and a few close friends.

Brooke made multiple efforts to contact her mother and let her know that she was more than welcome at any of her birthday celebrations, and that she would love her to be there.

But, a source said, Linda preferred not to attend the intimate affair.

“Linda was really, really hurt. But Brooke has sided with her father in all of this, she was adamant about not celebrating with her mom or extending an invitation,” Fox News quoted another source as saying.

And after the dinner, Brooke partied with her beau inside PURE nightclub, while typically protective Hulk looked on disapprovingly.

Linda filed for divorce from the semi-retired, pro-wrestling husband in November 2007. (ANI)

Paltrow and Knightley to model Comic Relief T-shirts by Stella McCartney

London, Feb 3 (ANI): English fashion designer Stella McCartney has roped in actresses Gwyneth Paltrow and Keira Knightley to model her Comic Relief T-shirts.

McCartney, 37, designed a range of limited edition T-shirts for Comic Relief, featuring unique photographs taken by her late mother, Linda, with one of them sporting an image of her father, Paul McCartney, and his band mates.

Another T-shirt had Morecambe and Wise, the comic duo, captured by David Bailey, the veteran photographer, and all the photos had a slight alteration made – their subjects were given red noses.

The fashion designer had a number of celebrities and friends at the event, including Gwyneth Paltrow, Keira Knightley, Claudia Schiffer and Sam Taylor-Wood, who were photographed by her sister, Mary McCartney, wearing the T-shirts.

The T-shirts, which will go on sale on February 9 at 214 TK Maxx stores nationwide, have been priced from 5.99 pounds for babies and children, and 9.99 pounds for adults.

Profits from the sale will go to Comic Relief ahead of Red Nose Day on March 13.

“It’s a real honour to be involved in such a tremendous cause and be a part of the Red Nose Day campaign 2009,” the Telegraph quoted McCartney as saying.

“The designs of the T-shirts were inspired by iconic images of iconic people by iconic photographers and adding an element of humour to them,” she added. (ANI)
