Sandra Bullock should castrate cheating hubby, advises Kim Zolciak

Washington, Mar 27 (ANI): ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star Kim Zolciak has a piece of advice for Sandra Bullock over her husband Jesse James’ cheating scandal—castrate him.

While Sandra has not publicly said how she will react to her husband”s cheating scandal, Kim said that she thinks Sandra should castrate Jesse.

“She should cut his whole package off. Light it like a fire cracker and blow it off,” RadarOnline.com quoted Kim as saying on Friday as she arrived at Los Angeles International Airport.

Kim, who recently admitted she”s bisexual and is involved with DJ Tracy Young, doesn”t know Bullock, but that does not stop her from extending support to the ‘The Blind Side’ star.

“She”s an angel I don”t know her personally but it sucks. It”s heartbreaking,” said Kim.

“Cut his (bleep) off. She should cut his (bleeps) off and his (bleep). And she should blow it up,” she added. (ANI)

California SC bans ISKCON from soliciting at Los Angeles airport

Washington, Mar. 26 (ANI): In a massive blow to the Hare Krishna group or ISKCON, the California Supreme Court has upheld a Los Angeles International Airport ordinance barring solicitation inside its airport terminals.

This ruling has come as the final defeat in a 13-year legal fight by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) to secure the right to solicit inside the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) under the First Amendment.

“It’s pretty conclusive, and it doesn’t look like there are any loopholes. As far as I can tell, it’s over,” the Christian Science Monitor quoted ISKCON”” lawyer David Liberman, as saying.

In 1992, ISKCON had filed a suit against New York City airports claiming that a ban on solicitation in terminals violated their First Amendment right to free speech.

After winning in the district court and losing in the circuit court, ISKCON lost its case in the US Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court ruled 6 to 3 that the city’s prohibition was constitutional because an airport terminal is not a “public forum.”

The Chief Justice further wrote that for the majority, solicitation is disruptive in crowded, busy spaces and negatively affects business there.

In 1999, ISKCON brought a suit against Miami International Airport for its ban on solicitation and the selling of literature anywhere in the vicinity of the airport.

The federal district court and appeals court ruled against ISKCON, and the Supreme Court declined to hear the decision, leaving the Miami International Airport’s restriction – and similar restrictions across Florida, Alabama, and Georgia – intact and legal.

The group again filed a suit in California, and a federal judge ruled in their favor.

But being denied the right to solicit at airport terminals, ISKCON may still distribute literature in California and at some other states at airport terminals. (ANI)

Even Disney cuts jobs as people skip theme parks

Los Angeles, April 5 (IANS) The US economic downturn has begun to take its toll on the entertainment industry, with giant Walt Disney Co. axing 1,900 jobs from its theme parks in California and Florida.

According to reports, the company’s Walt Disney World in Orlando, which is the world’s most visited recreational resort, has eliminated 1,400 jobs.

The original Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, will also axe 300 positions.

The rest of the jobs are being eliminated at the company’s corporate headquarters at Burbank near here, reports said.

Disney employs about 80,000 people in its parks and resorts which account for a quarter of its total business and revenue.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Disney is bracing for an extended downturn as people skip theme parks to save money.

‘The recession, and the recent decline, has really hit the theme park industry, but it has hit the destination parks more than the regional parks,’ the newspaper quoted Edward Shaw, an associate with travel industry consultant Economics Research Associates, as saying.

‘People are staying closer to home,’ added Shah.

The entertainment giant’s sprawling 25,000-acre Walt Disney World in Orlando has been particularly hard-hit by the recession, the report says.

According to it, traffic to Orlando International Airport – which transports visitors to and from Disney – was down 14 percent in February compared with the same period last year.

Hotel bookings at the Disney resorts were also falling sharply, with March figures down 20 percent from the same period last year, the newspaper said.

The original Disneyland at Anaheim near here has also seen its bookings shrink by 12 percent in January-February and 15 percent in March compared to the same period last year.

The number of passengers flying into Los Angeles International Airport fell by 4.6 million in January, down 11.2 percent from January 2008, the newspaper said quoting the Los Angeles Convention and Visitors Bureau.
