London, Mar 24 (ANI): Brit comedian Robert Webb was recently spotted dressing up in fishnets and a blonde wig, and giving a look which distinctly resembled queen of pop Madonna’s.

Webb, 36, whose picture was published in this week’s Heat magazine, seems to have taken a liking for skimpy leotards after dancing in one for Let’s Dance For Comic Relief earlier this month.

“I would love to say it’s always been my ambition to dress up as Madonna, but it hasn’t,” the Sun quoted him as saying.

“But she’s a game old bird, isn’t she? I think if anyone is going to grow old disgracefully, it’s going to be her, so you can’t knock her,” he said.

Webb also revealed that his cross-dressing convinced some people that he was actually a woman.

“A couple of people thought I was actually a woman,” he said.

“But I have a hairy chest, so I don’t really understand that. I did get wolf-whistled by a white van driver the other day.

“I was walking down the street and he slowed down, wound down his window and said, ‘Oi mate, nice legs, nice body’ and gave me a big thumbs-up. I said a polite ‘thank you’,” he added.

A selection of costumes from Let’s Dance For Comic Relief, as well as Robert’s Madonna outfit, will be auctioned in the Red Nose Auction Room at Marketplace09.com.
