Lap dancing, a routine part of British workplaces

London, Sept 18 (ANI): Lap dancing has become a part of British working life, a campaign group has said.

According to The Fawcett Society, which campaigns for women’s rights, companies in the UK are turning a blind eye to the use of sex clubs by workers.

The group found that some firms knowingly authorise the use of staff expenses for entertaining clients in lap dancing and strip clubs, reports The Telegraph.

After studying lap dancing clubs’ websites and contacting them directly to ask about their work with corporate clients, Fawcett researchers identified more than 300 such clubs in the UK.

Some 41 per cent of UK lap dancing clubs directly target employers through marketing on their websites, the researchers found.

Kat Banyard, the Fawcett Society researcher who wrote the report, described the sex industry as “a major threat to women’s equality at work”.

She said: “The sex industry is increasingly targeting the corporate market, with lap dancing clubs marketing themselves as ideal venues to host meetings and client entertaining. Yet lap dancing clubs are a form of commercial sexual exploitation and fuel sexist attitudes towards women. Their use in a work context discriminates against female employees and undermines women’s status at work.

She added: “For too long, employers have engaged with the sex industry without due regard for the impact on female employees, and have failed to prevent the illicit use of the sex industry by employees in a work context.” (ANI)

Force India, Fisichella on pole position for Belgian Grand Prix

Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium), Aug 29(ANI): Formula One Racing team Force India, which is backed by liquor baron Vijay Mallya, on Saturday claimed the pole position in qualifying session for Sunday’s Belgian Grand Prix, as Giancarlo Fisichella exhibited an incredible performance to come on top.

It was Force India team’s first-ever pole and the fourth for Fisichella, as he recorded a remarkable qualifying time with a lap of 1 minute, 46.308 seconds to start the Belgian Grand Prix at the front of the grid.

“It’s unbelievable. I didn’t expect to be on pole. It’s amazing. It’s fantastic. I’m so happy. Pole position! Is it true?,” Fisichella said.

“I need to thank the team because they did a fantastic job. I’m really, really happy – and really confident for tomorrow!,” he added.

Meanwhile, Toyota driver Jarno Trulli will start second and BMW Sauber’s Nick Heidfeld will start third following a qualifying session that produced many surprises.

Force India has recently introduced a series of updates to Fisichella and Adrian Sutil’s cars, which showed signs of improvement at last weekend’s European Grand Prix, where both drivers ran well. (ANI)

Kristen Stewart strips for James Gandolfini’s ‘Welcome to The Rileys’

Washington, Aug 21 (ANI): Actress Kristen Stewart will appear nude in her new film Welcome to The Rileys.

The Twilight star plays a young lap dancer plus prostitute, and walks around naked in many scenes in James Gandolfini’s new flick.

Apparently, the teenage star was a little nervous to film the scenes, and so she asked her Twilight co-star Nikki Reed to join her on the set of the film in New Orleans, Louisiana.

“I’m going with Kristen to New Orleans… while she’s shooting and I’m a good support system… I have to go to be with Kristen,” Contactmusic quoted Reed as telling About.com.

But Stewart is excited about the film and feels that her nude shots will lure her fans to theatres.

She said: “It’s an independent movie that nobody would normally see and now it’s like, ‘Oh, let’s go see Bella (Twilight character) in this stripper movie; it’ll be crazy!’”

Also, Kristen is delighted to work with the Sopranos star and considers the role in the film to be the hardest she has ever done.

She added: “Working with James Gandolfini and (co-star) Melissa Leo, who is just incredible, was the most fruitful life-changing experience on a movie that I’ve ever had.

“It was just the hardest subject matter I’ve ever had to deal with – I play a very broken young girl who is a runaway. She’s a street kid. She’s working in a strip club and James Gandolfini’s character is just as dead inside as she is – and they wake each other up.” (ANI)

Now, Katie Price ‘gets tired of Alex Reid’

London, August 9 (ANI): Katie Price a.k.a Jordan has become tired of cage fighter Alex Reid, whom she started seeing after parting ways with husband Peter Andre, it has emerged.

She reportedly told her friends: “He’s getting on my t**s. I’m sick of him acting like a lap dog. He’s been a distraction and he was fun while he lasted but he’s not good for me and now I feel ready to move on.”

A friend of the hottie has revealed that she is worried that her relationship with the small time actor and her estranged husband’s criticism for her insensible behaviour would harm her public image.

“She’s frightened about looking like a s***. She’s been stung by Peter’s criticism and wants to try to focus on being a mum and trying to protect her reputation from any more blows,” the News of the World quoted the pal as saying.

In fact, Jordan wanted to end her still young relationship with Reid, while they were in Spain.

“This has always been about companionship for her, not a serious relationship. But it quickly escalated. She wanted to end it in Marbella and is worried Alex has started to get stars – and pound signs – in his eyes,” the pal said.

Moreover, she reportedly banned her film crew from travelling with them to Spain because she did not want Alex to appear much in her hit ITV2 show.

And she has allegedly started making secret late night calls to her former holiday flame Anthony Lowther.

The insider added: “Jordan feels Alex has pretty much served his purpose and she is worried people are starting to think they are a long-term prospect. She has a real soft spot for Anthony. He is everything she is looking for – hunky, gentle, and loving.

“Funnily enough, these are the qualities she fell for in Pete. She still really fancies Anthony.

“He’s the one she really wants to be with – and I suspect it won’t be long before she is. Katie has started distancing herself from Alex in the last few days because of that.” (ANI)

Why people use mobile device during meetings

Washington, July 5 (ANI): It’s not communication overload but peer behaviour that determines whether people use their laptops or smart phones during a meeting, say researchers at The University of Texas at Austin.

It was believed that the more people experienced communication overload, the more they would engage in electronic multitasking during meetings.

But the study on individuals from a diverse range of organizations-including engineering, finance, software, energy, marketing and health care-debunked that view.

It was found that the perceived opinions of peers and supervisors and observation of others using their mobile devices in a meeting was what influenced an individual’s tendency to multi-task.

“There’s no doubt the ubiquity of mobile devices is changing the nature of workplace meetings. What we’ve found is that simply feeling overloaded with messages coming from channels such as e-mail, texts and instant messages is not the primary driver for multitasking in meetings,” said Keri Stephens, assistant professor of communication studies in the College of Communication.

The study is particularly informative as organizational norms overshadowed individual-level predictors, which might be due to the unique nature of portable technology.

For decades, people have been using non-technology communication-pens and paper-to multitask in meetings.

The research suggests that employee behaviour is likely to change if organizations ban mobile technologies, and set new norms for how they can be used during meetings.

The research comes in line with the news that organizations are banning mobile devices or going lap “topless” in meetings to get participants’ undivided attention.

While banning mobile devices will likely eliminate unproductive behaviour, the researchers have warned that it can stifle legitimately productive behaviour that can enhance the meeting process.

One of the key findings of the study is that prior to a meeting, facilitators need to communicate clearly about whether using mobile devices is acceptable or not.

Meetings also need to include the right content for the right people, as well as engaging material.

The report, titled ‘The Social Influences on Electronic Multitasking in Organizational Meetings’, has been published in the August issue of Management Communication Quarterly. (ANI)

“Rihanna didn’t get any lap dances herself, but she was tipping the girls a lot,” the New York Post quoted a source as saying.

“And she was definitely with one of the guys in her group and kissing him all night,” the source added.

The source further revealed that Rihanna and her friends spent a whopping 2,500 dollars at the strip club before leaving. (ANI)

Miss Nude South Africa dismisses claims Sexpo event exploited women

Johannesburg, May 16 (ANI): After a handful of Christians protested outside Cape Town’s Sexpo, Miss Nude South Africa has rejected claims that the event exploited women.

Bella Anderson, who is conducting lap dancing workshops at Sexpo, hoped that visitors to the event would leave more comfortable with who they were, instead of worrying about what other people said.

“We are all here by our own choice: no one’s been forced to be here,” 24.com quoted a topless Anderson as saying at her stall in the expo.

“I mean, I love sitting here… I enjoy this. It’s not like I’m a prostitute or anything.

“I’m just enjoying the fact that I’m a woman first of all, and second of all I’m using my womanly side and my femininity… to have fun with people.

“It’s not like I’m sleeping with anyone or doing bad things,” she added.

Outside the Cape Town Convention Centre, where Sexpo is being held, about 15 Christian conservatives held a placard protest and handed out pamphlets.

Spokesperson for the Christian Action Network Taryn Hodgson said that Christians believed that sex was a gift from God and should be expressed only within the confines of marriage.

“We shouldn’t take something that’s private and personal and make it public,” Hodgson said.

She also said it was outrageous that an industry that promoted the “objectification and exploitation” of women should be given space at a premier tourist destination in the heart of the city.

The protesters handed out a statement expressing concern that Sexpo would lure members of the public into experimenting with porn and attending strip clubs, which were hubs for criminal activity including prostitution.

Making a statement in reaction to the protest that the event was a “health, sexuality and lifestyle” show, Sexpo organiser Silas Howarth said: “We are quite happy there are people in the democracy who are… exercising their freedom of speech, but we also believe they should respect the fact that we have a massive expo, with massive, massive following.”

He said that attendances of some 100 000 over the past year in various centres showed that most South Africans were comfortable with the event.

“At the end of the day all we’re doing is saying ‘this is what’s out there, this is what is happening in the adult industry, this is what it feels like to be comfortable with your sexuality and sensuality and to have fun,’” he said.

“When it’s between two consenting people – or more than two consenting people – at the end of the day, if people are willing, if they’re wanting to do it, if they’re doing it safely, where’s the harm in that?” he added. (ANI)

Lalu Yadav says Congress has no existence in UP and Bihar

Patna, May 02 (ANI): Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav on Saturday claimed that the Congress party has no existence in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.

Criticising the All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary Gulam Nabi Azad in a press conference here for his recent statement that aligning with regional parties in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh was a “big mistake” by Congress and it will not repeat it in future, Lalu said, “RJD is a national party and all should know that. The Congress virtually has no existence in the two states.”

On Friday, Gulam Nabi Azad, while talking to the reporters here had said, “Congress should have tried to stand on its own in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar much earlier… There has been delay in severing the ties and we apologise from the people for the mistake (forging an alliance with regional parties)… The party will not be left to the mercy of regional parties.”

Predicting that no single party would be able to form a government after the Lok Sabha polls, Lalu once again reached out to the Left, saying the door for them was always open.

“The era of coalition governments is here to stay for long and we want the Left and secular forces to come together. The door for the Left is always open, ” he said.

Commenting on Communist Party of India (Marxist) leader Sitaram Yechury’s statement that the Left was not averse to aligning with even the Janata Dal (United) after the polls, Lalu asked, “Do you (the mediapersons) think that the Left will join forces with the communal parties.”

“Nitish Kumar (Bihar Chief Minister) is sitting in the lap of communal BJP. The Left will never allow the communal forces to come to power.” He asserted. (ANI)

Von Teese urges fellow burlesque stars to defy crackdown on UK shows

Washington, Apr 30 (ANI): American burlesque artist Dita Von Teese has urged her fellow performers to defy a new law banning nightclubs from having stripper shows without a licence, saying it is what makes risqué dance routines “exciting”.

Von Teese, 36, lashed out after officials in the U.K. capital introduced a new legislation forcing club owners who stage burlesque nights to apply for a lap dancing licence.

The artist is adamant that strippers should always strive to bend the rules, as it is a tradition in the saucy trade.

“It’s not unusual for burlesque to be regulated because it always has been, and the stars of burlesque from the past had to deal with it,” Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

“The challenges of getting around the laws and the risque element were always a part of what made burlesque exciting.

“I’ve been stripping since 1991 and have travelled all over the world and had to be aware of the laws. Sometimes I complied and sometimes I didn’t.

“Perhaps these clubs will install the historic ‘red light, green light’ that they had in burlesque clubs to tell the performers whether the cops were in the house or not,” she added. (ANI)

Ganga being used as swimming pool

Varanasi, Apr 27 (ANI): With water level low in Ganga River in Varanasi, it is being used as a swimming pool by the children.

Small children are being given training in swimming on the banks of Ganga instead of an artificial swimming pool.

Ajit Yadav, a trainer said that training in River Ganga would prove more beneficial and fruitful for the students as compared to the training given in artificial swimming pools.

“In River Ganga, the training for swimming is given in such a way so that the person can survive in any uncertain condition in a natural way. Whereas in swimming pools, there is an artificial compound where a particular child has to swim within a limited area. Confidence level of a person does not open up as well,” said Yadav.

River Ganga is believed to be the mother of all rivers.

Children claim to feel safe while learning swimming in the lap of their mother.

Sonali Chatterjee, who is learning swimming on the banks of Ganga said that the training in the banks of Ganga is a must for today’s generation.

“We don’t receive proper training in the swimming pools as compared to the training given in near the banks of River Ganga. Nowadays, most of the accidents happen near these banks only so I think today’s generation should learn swimming near the banks instead of the swimming pools,” said hatterjee.

The concept of swimming pools in India has been adopted from the Western and European culture which according to our climate and culture is not at all beneficial. By Girish Dubey (ANI)

Button seeks hat-trick in now legal Brawn By Elmar Dreher

*

Jenson ButtonShanghai – Jenson Button will be out for his third straight season win at the Chinese Formula One Grand Prix on Sunday now that his fast Brawn GP car has been declared legal.

The governing body FIA said on Wednesday that diffusers used by Brawn, Toyota and Williams meet F1 rules, forcing other teams to play catch-up which could take several weeks.

The diffuser is an aerodynamic feature which channels air out of the back of the chassis. It affects the car’s downforce which in turn enhances speed and performance, allegedly making the car half a second faster than others over one lap than one without the diffuser.

“That could be the decision of the year,” said German driver Nick Heidfeld from BMW Sauber, one of four teams which had appealed before FIA against the diffuser.

Heidfeld named Button favourite again for the Shanghai race because “he has won the first two races and the diffuser is legal.”

Ex-champ Fernando Alonso of the Renault team warned ahead of the ruling that the championship “could be more or less decided” because “the Brawns are going to be nearly unreachable for any other team.”

Brawn was naturally happy with the FIA decision which confirmed the Briton Button as championship leader on 15 points from two races ahead of his Brazilian team-mate Rubens Barrichello (10).

“The decision … brings this matter to its conclusion and we look forward to continuing on the track the challenge of what has been a very exciting start to the 2009 world championship,” said Ross Brawn, the boss of the team formerly run by Honda.

Button was in full command at the season-opener in Brazil and also won the Malaysian race which could not go the full distance due to torrential rain.

While Brawn, Toyota and Williams are tipped to carry the diffuser advantage at least through the Shanghai and Bahrain (April 26) races, the others have to come up with a similar device as soon as possible, but with no testing allowed between races.

The ruling is especially bad news for the big players Ferrari and McLaren-Mercedes.

Ferrari sit on zero points in the standings in a terrible start to the campaign and McLaren are not much better off with one point from world champion Lewis Hamilton’s seventh place.

Ferrari boss Ferrari boss Stefano Domenicali promised that his team will “double our efforts” while Mercedes motorsport chief Norbert Haug called for patience.

“You can’t do in nine weeks what others took nine months to achieve,” said Haug, still hoping for “another small step forward” in Shanghai.

Hamilton won last year’s edition on the 5.451-kilometres Shanghai International Circuit, but also bowed to the realities when he said “it would be very encouraging if we could qualify a little further up the grid and be regularly challenging for points.”

However, McLaren must also do something for their reputation which has been badly dented over Hamilton’s disqualification from the Australia race for misleading race stewards. The team faces a FIA hearing on April 29 and possibly sanctions over the incident.

Good results would do the team good in Shanghai, where two practice sessions are scheduled for Friday, another practice and qualifying on Saturday and the 56-lap race on Sunday. (dpa)

Hamilton disqualified from Australian GP for giving misleading information

London, Apr 2 (ANI): Lewis Hamilton and his team McLaren have been excluded from classification in the Australian grand prix for providing evidence deliberately misleading to the stewards at the hearing on March 29 and the British driver has been stripped of his third place.

The FIA ruled that Hamilton provided misleading information on the circumstances, which led to Toyota’s Jarno Trulli being demoted from his third place finish.

The FIA examined “new evidence” that came to light regarding exactly what went on when Hamilton and Trulli were battling for third and fourth positions under safety car conditions at the Albert Park circuit last Sunday.

Hamilton had finished the race fourth overall, but was promoted to the podium after reporting Trulli of illegal overtaking, SKY News reported.

McLaren accused the Italian driver of passing Hamilton while a safety car was on the track on lap 57.

Trulli was subsequently slapped with a 25-second penalty, which saw him relegated to 12th.

He has been reinstated to third place.

Britain’s Jenson Button, driving for the new Brawn team, won the opening race of the season ahead of his Brazilian teammate Rubens Barrichello. (ANI)

No fight with Congress: Lalu Yadav

New Delhi, Mar 25 (ANI): Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav on Wednesday clarified that he had “no fight” with the Congress Party or with party President Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

In an interview with NDTV, Lalu said, “I am not a quiet kind of person. I don’t attack people quietly. My advice to the Congress is that its people should continue to sleep comfortably… we (RJD and LJP) will win and form the UPA Government.”

Lalu’s comments came days after the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) and the RJD had unilaterally announced a seat sharing arrangement between the two parties in Bihar.

Out of the 40 seats, the RJD kept 25 seats and the LJP took 12 seats. The remaining three seats were left for the Congress.

This move angered the Congress, which termed the announcement unacceptable.

Justifying his deal with LJP chief Ram Vilas Paswan, Lalu said, “I and Paswan were ready to talk about an extra seat in Bihar. But nobody in the Congress responded.”

“It was the call of the time for Ram Vilas Paswan’s party, LJP, and RJD (to come together). Our unity would let us sweep all of Bihar,” he said.

When asked if he had opened channels with Samajwadi chief Mulayam Singh Yadav, he said, “Mulayam Singh Yadav is not my enemy. In earlier days, we fought during Assembly Elections and the vote got divided. The result was not good.”

Asked if he is worried that the Congress will join hands with Nitish Kumar-led Janata Dal United JD(U) after elections, Lau promptly replied, “Let them join hands. Right now, Nitish Kumar is sitting in the lap of BJP. When that is broken, then it is an advantage to me. Let anyone join anyone

On being questioned about the culprit of the UPA breakdown in the state, he said, “Sonia Gandhiji is nowhere at fault. The honorable Manmohan Singh ji is nowhere at fault.”

“We are towards Soniaji, all our lives, as long as we live,” he said. (ANI)

Washington, Mar 24 (ANI): American R and B singer Ciara has released a new video of hers in which she can be seen giving pop singer Justin Timberlake a free lap dance.

Timberlake, 28, had co-written the sexy singer’s new tune Love, Sex, Magic, which debuted on her website on March 23, reports Contactmusic.

When he was asked to play the 23-year-old singer’s love interest in the accompanying promo, Timberlake agreed.

In the video, Ciara, who was romantically linked to 50 Cent last year, licks the Cry Me A River hitmaker’s ear before treating him to a lap dance. (ANI)

How brain remembers single events

Washington, Mar 19 (ANI): One-time events-like a marriage proposal, a wedding toast, a baby’s birth-always hold that special place in our memory, and scientists have now found how brain remembers such events without them being repeated over time.

In a study on rats, UC Irvine scientists have found that a single brief experience was as effective at activating neurons and genes associated with memory as more repetitive activities.

Neuroscientist John Guzowski and colleagues say that understanding how the brain remembers one-time events can help scientists design better therapies for diseases like Alzheimer’s, in which the ability to form such memories is impaired

“Most experiences in life are encounters defined by places, people, things and times. They are specific, and they happen once. This type of memory is what makes each person unique,” said Guzowski, UCI neurobiology and behaviour assistant professor.

In the study, the researchers focussed on how neurons in the brain’s hippocampus area react to single events – particularly in the CA3 region, which is thought to be most critical for single-event memory.

For their research, the scientists put groups of rats on a rectangular track. Some rats took one lap, while others did multiple laps.

After inspecting the brains of rats that took one lap, the researchers found that 10-15 percent of neurons in the CA3 region activated. The same percentage of CA3 neurons fired in the brains of rats that walked multiple laps.

While previous computer simulations predicted that brief and repetitive experiences would activate CA3 neurons similarly, this is the first study to actually show that it’s true.

The researchers arrived at the percentages by examining the activation of a gene called “Arc” within hippocampal neurons.

Earlier studies have shown that turning on Arc is required to convert experience into long-term memory.

“Together with our past findings, this study provides key insight into how fleeting experiences can be captured by the brain to form lasting memories,” said Guzowski.

Arc activation is disrupted in mouse models of mental retardation and Alzheimer’s disease.

“Our findings on Arc regulation in CA3 neurons should prove useful to researchers testing new therapies for Alzheimer’s disease. If you understand how the hippocampus works, it is much easier to understand and potentially treat diseases that affect memory,” said Guzowski.

The study has been published in the Journal of Neuroscience. (ANI)

More than 4,000 prehistoric artifacts of stone and bone discovered in Vietnam

Hanoi (Vietnam), March 16 (ANI): Archaeologists have found more than 4,000 ancient artifacts of stone and bone in an archaeological site in Vietnam.

The treasure trove of artifacts was discovered at the Xom Trai archaeological site in Tan Lap commune, Lac Son district in northern Hoa Binh province, by archaeologists from the Hoa Binh Museum and the Southeast Asia Prehisory Centre.

According to VOV News, scientists said that Xom Trai Cave, recognized as a national archaeological site in 2001, is believed to be a tool workshop as well as a habitat for people of the Hoa Binh civilization.

Hundreds of stone artifacts, including seats and cutting tools, weighing up to 10 kg each, and tens of millions of seashells have been discovered in 200 sqm area in the cave.

Researchers also discovered the oldest artifact of prehistoric art in Vietnam and two ancient tracks dating back 21,000 years.

The ancient roads are the first of such discovery in Southeast Asia.

Especially, a man’s skeleton was found in a stratum of between 14,000-17,000 years old. Researchers said that the man was about 35-40 years old and 1.65-1.68 m tall.

Researchers also found two kinds of mineral rock used by prehistoric people as nutrition supplements. (ANI)

Peaches Geldof was ‘stroked’ by Michael Jackson

Washington, Mar 12 (ANI): Bob Geldof’s daughter Peaches has revealed that she was “stroked” by pop star Michael Jackson when she was just eight years old.

In an interview on U.K. series Celebrity Juice, the 19-year-old socialite shocked TV audiences after recalling the childhood incident, while she was visiting Disneyland with family.

“I was eight years old, I was at Disneyland with Pappy Geldof and the fam (family), we were all hanging out there, and somehow, for some reason, Michael Jackson was there doing some sort of promotional thing and he invited a load of kids who were staying in the Disney hotel, to come meet him,” Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

“He was in this one room, and we went in and I was really excited and he was sitting on a huge throne at the end of the hall, flanked by Mickey and Goofy.

“The image is burned in my mind of him there, just like ‘come closer’, and I went and I sat on his lap and then he proceeded to stroke me and whisper in my ear a little bit.

“I’ve got photos to prove it. I’ve been stroked by Michael Jackson,” she added. (ANI)

Ashley Cole arrested following drunken face-off

London, Mar 6 (ANI): A ‘drunk’ Ashley Cole was seen being led away in handcuffs after he flipped on being photographed chatting with a beautiful blonde.

Cole, 28, was with his teammates John Terry and Michael Mancienne at London’s exclusive Collection restaurant in South Kensington, when they were approached by a group of champagne-swilling girls, who invited them into a cordoned-off area.

As Chelsea skipper Terry and Mancienne mingled with the crowd, Cole sat down on a bar stool, drinking a bottle of Japanese Asahi lager, and then ordering a round of drinks.

The Chelsea defender then began chatting with a blonde clubber wearing a shiny blue mini-dress and a string of white pearls, and they were seen touching one another’s hands as they got close to the bar.

“She was stunning and clearly very taken with Cole,” the Sun quoted a source at the club as saying.

“They broke off from the main group and were talking quietly alone. There were no free seats at the bar so she stood directly in front of him.

“She placed her hands on his lap as she leaned in to speak to him, directly into his right ear.

“At one stage Cole was gesturing with his left hand and she could clearly see his large diamond wedding ring. He was laughing and joking with her. Each time he spoke she tilted her head by almost 90 degrees as she cosied up to him to keep their conversation private,” the source added.

But just after midnight Cole’s mood turned ugly after he realised that a photographer had snapped him and the girl, and his minders took the snapper’s camera away.

The police were called and Cole emerged from the club half an hour later, but as he headed for his chauffeur-driven Range Rover, he flipped when more pictures of him were taken.

Cole swore at the photographer and told him to delete the photos, and when cops told him to cool down, he continued to rant, telling them to intervene and accusing them of not doing their job.

A female cop warned Cole he would be arrested for being drunk and disorderly unless he calmed down and moderated his language.

When he ignored her, she told him she was arresting him for a public order offence and clapped him in handcuffs.

Cole was given an 80 pounds fixed penalty for allegedly being drunk and disorderly after hurling abuse in an early-hours clash outside a club.

“A 28-year-old man was given a fixed penalty notice for being drunk and disorderly,” Scotland Yard said.

While his wife Cheryl is struggling up Mount Kilimanjaro for charity, Cole has been busy apologizing to cops for his conduct.

“Ashley was hammered and lost it. He has been under strict instructions from Cheryl not to misbehave when out with Chelsea mates. But he let her down in a big way. She’ll be furious,” a witness at the event added. (ANI)

Brown charged with two felony counts in Rihanna assault case

Washington, Mar 06 (ANI): Singer Chris Brown, who allegedly attacked Rihanna and left her with horrific injuries, has been charged with two felony counts.

According to an affidavit, Brown’s alleged victim Robyn Fenty (Rihanna’s given name Robyn Fenty) was brutally battered as he shoved her head against the window of the hired Lamborghini, repeatedly punched, and bit her.

According to Fox News, it is also alleged that Brown shouted: I’m going to beat the **** out of you when we get home. You wait and see.”

The report suggests that the alleged attack took place after Brown received a text message from a woman “who Brown had a previous sexual relationship with,” Brown then tried to kick her out of the car but could not, as she was wearing a seatbelt.

After that Brown allegedly banged her head against her window, and when she turned to face him, he “continued to punch her in the face with his right hand while steering the vehicle with his left hand.”

The affidavit revealed that blood filled Rihanna’s mouth and spilled on her clothing and the interior of the Lamborghini.

“Robyn F” then tried to a fake message saying, “I am on my way home. Make sure the cops are there when I get there,” to which Brown replied, “You just did the stupidest thing ever. I’m going to kill you,” and continued to punch her.

Rihanna then “bent over at the waist, placing her elbows and head near her lap in attempt to protect her face and head from the barrage of punches being levied by Brown.”

Rihanna eventually fell unconscious, and a woman who heard her cry called 911, before Brown fled the scene.

Brown, released on 50,000 dollar bail until a hearing on April 6, has apologized and revealed that he was taking anger management classes.

He and Rihanna have reportedly recently reconciled.

Meanwhile, Brown, 19, has been ordered by the cops to provide fingerprints and DNA samples before the hearing. (ANI)
