Courtney Love claims she had a lesbian fling with Kate Moss

London, May 20 (ANI): Rocker Courtney Love has sensationally claimed that she bedded supermodel Kate Moss in Milan, Italy.

The widow of Nirvana star Kurt Cobain had dropped hints weeks ago about a tryst with a female pin-up, who she claimed chased her round a room, leading to a sex session.

And in a startling new magazine interview, the 45-year-old singer has now claimed: “It was Kate Moss. She doesn”t care.”

Love has also alleged that many of her female friends in London had slept with Kate.

“It”s a great story for the grandchildren, so yeah. Kate wasn”t doing a lot of drugs. It was just a thing that happened in Milan in the Nineties,” the Sun quoted her as saying.

“It happened and it was fun and whatever. And she talks about it and so I hope she doesn”t get mad that I outed her about it.

“I feel like such a kiss and tell. Kate”s great, though! Kate”s a good friend of mine. I almost bought her house in St John”s Wood, London,” she added. (ANI)

Has Barbra Streisand seen off ex-lover Jon Peters’ ‘kiss and tell’?

London, May 24 (ANI): American singer-actress Barbra Streisand is believed to have seen off an ex-lover who planned to publish a “kiss and tell”.

Hollywood producer Jon Peters, who made a deal with HarperCollins regarding his memoirs earlier this month, has had a change of heart now.

The deal was said to be worth 490,000 pounds.

“I must decline your current kind and generous offer to publish my autobiography. Circumstances far beyond my imagination have caused me to remove the project from the marketplace at this ime. “Somehow this proposal has become a kind of holy grail of gossip, and I have become Hollywood’s ‘Man Who Knows Too Much,’” the Telegraph quoted him as having written to Michael Morrison, of the publishers Peters adds: “I have been besieged by potential lawsuits and threatened litigation by some of the most important figures in the world of show business. What’s worse… is the fact that I consider all these people my friends.” (ANI)

Appeals filed over kiss-and-tell book on Finnish premier

Helsinki – A kiss-and-tell book about Finnish Prime Minister Matti Vanhanen and the related issue of how much privacy leading politicians can claim may feature in a new trial, reports said Wednesday.

The prosecutor as well as the author and publisher of the book have filed appeals to the Supreme Court. A decision on a possible hearing is expected in four months, Finnish news agency STT reported.

An appeal court in February said the book violated Vanhanen’s privacy and ordered publisher Kari Ojala and author Susan Ruusunen, whom Vanhanen once dated, to pay fines based on the book earnings.

Ruusunen’s book Paaministerin morsian (The Prime Minister’s Bride) was published in 2007 after the relationship had ended. The two – both divorced – met via an internet dating site in 2006.

Last month, Vanhanen announced his engagement to Sirkka Mertala. The couple have been dating for a year.

In a related development, a new survey published Wednesday suggested Vanhanen’s approval ratings have dropped to their lowest level since he became prime minister almost six years ago.

Only 32 per cent of the 943 voters polled early April said they were satisfied with Vanhanen’s leadership, according to the survey commissioned by the newspaper Kaleva.

The controversy over the Ruusunen book was one factor that hit Vanhanen’s ratings, but the economic downturn was the main factor. The government’s overall ratings were also hit by the financial crisis, the survey said. (dpa)
