Jennifer Aniston simply “heaven”, says Brad Pitt’s ex Juliette Lewis

Washington, May 4 (ANI): Actress Juliette Lewis has revealed that she finds actress Jennifer Aniston, who is her co-star in the upcoming comedy “The Switch”, to simply be heaven.

Lewis, 36, who was once engaged to 41-year-old Aniston’s ex-husband actor Brad Pitt, was at the G-Star Raw showroom in Los Angeles trying on the new Fall/winter 2010 collection.

“Jen was simply a piece of heaven,” Fox News quoted her as saying.

“Just a real girls’ girl – really down to earth, funny and absolutely wonderful. I play her best friend and I am kind of daffy, but we just had a natural affinity for each other,” she added. (ANI)

Lindsay Lohan’s seating arrangement tantrum

New York, Sep 18 (ANI): “Mean Girls” star Lindsay Lohan threw a diva tantrum at the Hammerstein Ballroom, after she decided she did not like the seating arrangements.

Lohan, 23, who is currently unemployed, began removing the seating cards or throwing them on the floor at the G-Star runway show on September 15.

“Lindsay decided she wasn’t happy with the seating arrangements,” the New York Post quoted a source as saying.

“She began taking the seating cards for celebrities like Juliette Lewis and Christian Siriano and moving them or throwing them on the floor,” the source said.

When event producers approached her for throwing Taylor Momsen’s place card to the floor, she told them to stay away.

“She said, ‘don’t [bleep]ing touch me,’ and rolled her eyes and continued moving the place cards,” the source added. (ANI)

Peaches Geldof joins the Scientology bandwagon?

London, June 21 (ANI): Peaches Geldof has been studying Scientology for nine months, it has emerged.

The religious rumours were sparked when the Peaches was spotted leaving a Church of Scientology centre in Los Angeles, reports The Mirror.

A source said: “Peaches became sober a year ago now. And shortly after she started looking for fulfillment in life.

“She’d had a few crazy years learning to cope with fame and growing up and wanted to see whether she could gain anything in life from any faiths.

“So she went to a class and since then she’s spent a lot of time reading, attending classes in both New York and London and trying to understand Scientology a bit more.

“She’s not considering herself a Scientologist yet – but she’s enjoying learning about about a new faith.”

She would be among some of Hollywood’s biggest stars if she did join the Scientology crew. The Cruises, John Travolta, Kirstie Alley and Juliette Lewis are all converts. (ANI)

Juliette Lewis’ band renamed as The New Romantiques

Washington, March 3 (ANI): Juliette Lewis’s band The Licks has undergone a name change and boasts of a new line-up called The New Romantiques.

The actress-turned-rocker, who formed the band in 2004, had formed a new act after the group split last year.

And the 35-year-old has no complaints about it since it has only worked in favour of her new album, Terra Incognita.

“Because this album is so sonically different than anything I’ve done before and captures many flavours of my emotional life and voice, it needed an entirely new name,” Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

“Terra Incognita means unknown territory – and that’s where I wanted to go musically.

“It took me five years to really cut my teeth both as a performer and as a songwriter and I wanted to break all the habits I’d gotten used to,” she added. (ANI)
