Kids as young as 6 getting suntans to look like Jordan, Cheryl Cole

London, May 26 (ANI): Children as young as six are getting suntans to look like stars such as Katie Price a.k.a Jordan and Cheryl Cole.

A study of 1,000 six to 16-year-olds found almost two thirds of kids want bronzed skin – and four in ten sunbathe “as often as possible”.

During the study, over half said it was ‘more fashionable’ to be tanned than pale. 60 percent felt better when they had a tan and 41 percent felt ‘thinner’.

The study also showed that one fifth sunbathed without suntan lotion to ‘get brown quicker’.

According to the research, a further 17 per cent used body lotions and oils instead of sun cream.

“Kids are damaging their future health,” the Sun quoted a spokesman for Superdrug, behind the survey, as saying.

London, May 21 (ANI): Katie Price a.k.a Jordan has fuelled rumours that she’s pregnant by ditching a boozy birthday bash.

The glamour model is set to turn 32 but has snubbed all offers of a celebration, including a romantic trip away.

Instead, she is planning a quiet day and evening with husband Alex Reid, 34, and her three children.

“Kate has been really trying to stay healthy in the last few months so that she can focus on starting a family with Alex,” the Daily Star quoted a source as saying.

Rockets fired at Israeli resort of Eilat – reports

Two rockets were fired from Jordan at Israel’s Red Sea resort of Eilat on Thursday but landed in Jordanian territory, apparently without causing any injuries, Israel’s Haaretz newspaper reported on its website.

The Israeli military had no immediate comment.

Jordan’s port of Aqaba is adjacent to Eilat, which also borders Egypt’s Sinai peninsula.

Israel’s YNet news web site, giving a slightly different version of events, said rockets may have been fired from the Sinai toward Eilat but landed in Aqaba instead.

Israeli Army Radio said one rocket hit Aqaba and the other fell into the Gulf of Aqaba between the two cities.

Earlier this month, Israel cautioned its citizens not to visit the Sinai, citing information that militants might try to kidnap vacationing Israelis.

Egypt and Israel signed a peace treaty in 1979. Jordan and Israel made peace in 1994.

Cowell claims the ITV show can easily continue without him on camera, reports The Daily Star.

Cowell said: “I am looking at whether I have a different role next year. I am considering coming just for the semi-finals. I like the show but it takes a hell of a lot of time.

“You sit there watching horrific acts and you think: ‘I genuinely can’t do this any more.’

“Can I see it working without me? Yes.”

When asked if reality star Jordan could join the show, he teased: “Well those are your words not mine. But Jordan is a friend. It’s too early to say what will happen.

Jordan ‘fumes as Peter Andre bonds with Kerry Katona’

London, March 31 (ANI): Katie Price a.k.a Jordan is apparently furious after rumours emerged that Kerry Katona and Peter Andre spent two secret nights together.

The glamour model is fuming that her old pal is now cosying up to her ex-husband.

She fears a serious romance is blossoming between them, reports the Daily Star.

The ‘Mysterious Girl’ singer has grown close to Kerry, who was a bridesmaid when he wed Kate, since her split from Mark Croft, 39.

They have bonded since hooking up again after losing touch for several years following his marriage to Jordan.

Kate apparently told her pals: “I don’t know what Pete thinks he’s playing at, she’s just a poor man’s version of me.

“He’s making a fool of himself and she is a total disgrace for doing this to a mate.”

However, Pete and Kerry’s manager Claire Powell has insisted that two are just good friends.

She said: “They are not together and they’re not going to get together – but it’s a really nice friendship. He’s a very stabilising influence on Kerry.

Jordan, Alex Reid to beef up their security after mob scuffle

London, March 29 (ANI): Kate Price and hubby Alex Reid will soon be shadowed by more bodyguards after the couple were recently caught in a scuffle with drunken blokes, it has emerged.

Price a.k.a. Jordan could do nothing more than yelp for help when she was torn away from cagefighter Reid as the pair tried to enter a nightclub.

The duo were finally left clinging to each other after bouncers broke up the mob outside London hotspot Movida.

The incident has frightened Jordan and Reid so much that they now plan to beef up their personal security.

“Kate and Alex just wanted to have as quiet a night as possible but it’s always bedlam when they’re together. They are not doing anything unusual but it does get heated from time to time,” the Daily Star quoted an insider, as saying.

The source added: “Kate only has one security guard at the moment and she knows the staff at Movida well so they all pitch in and help her get in and out.

“But now Alex is on the scene that may not be enough.” (ANI)

Alex Reid turns to spiritual healer to ease pressures of fame

London, Mar 24 (ANI): Katie Price a.k.a. Jordan’s hubby Alex Reid is said to have turned to a spiritual healer as he struggles to cope with the pressures of fame.

He admitted he and Jordan, 31, have struggled with the negative publicity their relationship and marriage has received.

EFT is a gentle treatment, similar to acupuncture, said to enable the release of trapped emotions.

“Denis’s work has allowed me to not only be myself, but to cultivate my nature and be proud of who I really am,” the Daily Star quoted him as saying.

“I am eternally grateful for that because it’s so easy to get lost in everything that’s going on.

“I’m pacing myself more and have a deeper connection with Kate as I feel more positive influences are rubbing off on her,” he added. (ANI)

Cops not probing Jordan rape claims

London, Sept 19 (ANI): Cops have said that they will not be investigating glamour model Katie Price a.k.a. Jordan’s rape claims.

Surrey police said they were unable to continue inquiries due to “a lack of substantiated information”.

The 31-year-old busty beauty is said to be “hugely relieved” after the news.

Jordan revealed that she “wanted to draw a line under the whole sorry episode” and has vowed to keep a low profile in the coming weeks, reports the Mirror.

She told pals: “I never expected it to blow up like this. I want it to go away.”

The reality TV star had revealed she was raped by a”famous celebrity”earlier this week, an allegation the star in question denies. (ANI)

Jordan wishes she had “never said anything” about rape

London, Sept 18 (ANI): Jordan has refused to yield to police requests of naming the celeb who she claims raped her.

Investigators assured the glamour girl of a probe if she named her attacker.

“If you make an official complaint, we will investigate this crime,” said the cops.

However, Jordan (real name Katie Price) refused to budge and said the issue was closed.

The Mirror quoted her as telling the detectives: “I’m not going to say anything.

“What’s past is past and I just want to forget about it the best I can.

“This whole thing has been a nightmare and I wish I never said anything in the first place.”

But sources say the police have plans to question the 31-year-old further. They still intend to conduct a full interview with her. Their position has not changed,” said a source.

A witness who saw Jordan attending the probing call from the police said she was shocked that her revelations had reached the cops.

The onlooker said: “She looked like she’d seen a ghost when she realised who was on the other end of the phone. It really upset her.

“She had no idea that her claims of being raped in the past would reach this level.

“She deeply regrets saying anything and opening such a large can of worms.” (ANI)

All Formula One teams are cheats, claims Irvine

London, Sep 18 (ANI): Ex-Ferrari driver Eddie Irvine has claimed that all Formula One teams are cheats.

Irvine says there has been an overreaction to the race-fixing charges being levelled at the Renault team.

He admitted the Crashgate scandal that cost Renault team chief Flavio Briatore and technical boss Pat Symonds their jobs had gone too far.

“F1 is a war and all is fair in war. When I was in various teams you would do anything to win. You pushed people off, you did whatever you could do to win,” he said.

“This is probably slightly on the wrong side of the cheating thing, but in F1 – if you look back at days gone past – then every team has done it. They will cheat, bend the rules, do whatever they could, sabotage opponents.

“Nothing was beyond the realms of decency and that is what F1 always is. It is not a pure sport,’ The Sun quoted Irvine, as saying.

The Renault team still has to appear before the World Motor Sport Council in Paris on Monday where they face a massive fine, race suspension or even being kicked out of the sport.

But Irvine reckons they could escape with a more lenient penalty amid fears that another team is about to leave the sport.

Irvine, who also raced for Jordan and Jaguar, added: “If you think that McLaren got a 100 million dollars fine for having some papers of the Ferrari team, what punishment is relevant here? It is complete banning. But I don’t believe that is going to happen as F1 cannot afford to lose more teams.”

Briatore threatened to sue Piquet Snr after the three-time world champ made the revelations about his son. (ANI)
