Jonathan Rhys Meyers uses N-word against airline staff: Report

Washington, May 18 (ANI): Actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers was banned from boarding a United Airlines flight after he used racial slurs against an employee last month in a drunken outburst.

As per reports from RadarOnline.com, the Irish actor, star “The Tudors,” reportedly used the “N” word when he was reprimanded for drunk and disorderly conduct inside a first class lounge earlier this month, says Fox News.

Meyers was accused of drinking excessively in the wee hours at New York City’s JFK airport while waiting to board a flight to Los Angeles.

The employees didn’t allow him to get on the flight on seeing his quarrelsome behaviour, following which shouted the ‘N word’ at them.

This is not the first time Meyers has landed in trouble.

After his second stint in rehab, Meyers was arrested in 2007 at a Dublin airport for allegedly being drunk, but the charges were dropped later.

Two years later, just three months out of his third stint, he was arrested for allegedly attacking staff in a Paris airport bar. (ANI)

Jackie O had a sexual relationship with Bobby Kennedy, claims book

New York, July 7 (ANI): Author C. David Heymann has come under the fire after he alleged for the third time that late US President John F. Kennedy’s wife Jacqueline and his brother Bobby Kennedy had an affair.

In his new book, ‘Bobby and Jackie: A Love Story’, Heymann has detailed interviews of several on-the-record witnesses who have said that the in-laws had a sexual relationship after JFK’s assassination in 1963.

A neighbour told Heymann that Bobby and Jackie got frisky out in the open over Christmas vacation in Palm Beach in 1964.

Family friend Chuck Spalding revealed that the couple had a very obvious attraction between each other.

“You would have had to be dumb, deaf and blind not to see it,” The New York Daily News quoted him as saying.

However, Kennedy experts have condemned the book and how Heymann highlighted the relationship between the two.

“It’s a new low, and you just wonder how far people are willing to go. [Heymann] is just trying to make a buck. Yes, Bobby and Jackie had a relationship as friends, but [the romance] is a total exaggeration. I feel sorry for Heymann,” said Laurence Leamer, author of ‘The Kennedy Men’, ‘The Kennedy Women’ and ‘Sons of Camelot’

David Talbot, author of ‘Brothers: The Hidden History of the Kennedy Years’, refused to even comment on Heymann’s tome because he doesn’t believe the writer is a credible source on the Kennedy family.

The backlash against Heymann’s latest book is reminiscent of the criticism he received in 1994, when he first alluded to the affair in an updated edition of ‘A Woman Named Jackie’.

He repeated the claim in 1998′s ‘RFK: A Candid Biography’.

Meanwhile, Kennedy White House Press Secretary Pierre Salinger, branded Heymann’s claims “bull-.’

‘Bobby and Jackie: A Love Story’ will be available on July 14 from Simon and Schuster”s Atria Books. (ANI)

Jacqueline O lured Marlon Brando for two steamy nights of sex, claims new book

New York, June 25 (ANI): A new book has claimed that Hollywood biggie Marlon Brando enjoyed two nights of passionate sex with Jacqueline Kennedy.

What’s more, in “Bobby and Jackie: A Love Story” C. David Heymann has claimed that Brando wanted to bare the intimate details to the world.

In the explosive tome, which details a purported post-JFK assassination affair between Jackie and Robert F. Kennedy, Heymann has obtained passages from Brando’s account of how he hooked up with Jackie in 1964.

They were in the first draft of the Oscar winner’s 1994 memoir, “Songs My Mother Taught Me,” until an editor friend of Jackie at Random House insisted they be cut, Heymann claims, reports The New York Post.

Heymann writes, “according to Brando, [their] three-hour meal included a good deal of drinking . . . Jackie and the actor danced and drank. During their dance, Jackie, deeply attracted to Brando, ‘pressed her thighs’ suggestively into his. They danced again, then sat down and began to ‘make out,’ “

He relates: “In Brando’s words, ‘From all I’d read and heard about her, Jacqueline Kennedy seemed coquettish and sensual but not particularly sexual. If anything, I pictured her as more voyeur than player. But that wasn’t the case.

” ‘She kept waiting for me to try to get her into bed. When I failed to make a move, she took matters into her own hands and popped the magic question. ‘Would you like to spend the night?’ And I said, ‘I thought you’d never ask.’”

The draft also has the movie star comment on Jaquelines’s physicality talking about her “boyish hips” and “muscular frame.”

Brando also wrote: “I’m not sure she knew what she was doing sexually, but she did it well.”

However, according to Heymannm, the relationship lasted for a short while after which Jaqueline “Having twice consummated her relationship with Brando, Jackie showed no interest in pursuing him further.”

The book is expected to be out soon. (ANI)

Texas judge to decide who owns JFK ‘Sniper’s Perch’

Washington, Feb.25 (ANI): A court in Dallas, Texas, is to decide who owns the historic window from which historians say Lee Harvey Oswald took aim at President John F. Kennedy and killed him on November 22, 1963.

Two men are offering two different windows for sale on Ebay, each claiming theirs is genuine.

Parris Mayhew claims his dad removed it in 1971, when he was the owner of the old Texas Schoolbook Depository.

“He took it out of the building to protect it ’cause a lot of the tourists were chipping off pieces here and there,” explained Mayhew.

In another story of father and son, Caruth Byrd claims his dad removed the window when he owned the building years earlier. Byrd said the ‘sniper’s perch’ and other items are very important to him. “Because dad gave me the window, and then the stuff with the assassination.”

Byrd sued Mayhew when he put his window up for auction two years ago. Byrd said he couldn’t get a high enough price because of Mayhew’s competing claim.

Mayhew has hired an attorney and successfully argued he needs another month to prepare an adequate case.

In the meantime, the finger pointing continues. he case goes before State District Judge Gena Slaughter on March 16th. (ANI)

Obama ‘to echo JFK’s plea for self-sacrifice’ in inaugural speech

London, January 19 (ANI): Barack Obama is reportedly set to remind his fellow Americans of John F Kennedy’s call for self-sacrifice along with a with a new “era of responsibility” in his inaugural speech.

Obama may echo Kennedy’s plea to “ask not what your country can do for you – ask what you can do for your country” in his address, which is expected to be heard by millions within Washington and around the globe.

According to new press secretary Robert Gibbs, the speech would be “heavily infused with this notion of responsibility and getting our country back on track”, reports the Telegraph.

The final draft might also bank upon the ideas presented in landmark inaugural speeches in American history, including those of Lincoln, Franklin D Roosevelt and John F Kennedy, conveying a message of unity and hope but not without self-sacrifice.

William Galston, a former adviser to Bill Clinton said: “He has to provide a sense of direction. And I think part of that has to be a message that as a nation we have lived beyond our means.

“This is real opportunity for the new president to say we all went overboard, that this economic crisis isn’t something that was just done to us by crooks, swindlers and fast-buck chasers, that to some extent we did this to ourselves.

“Then he has to say that we can dig our way out of this together. He has to capture that hope and fear Americans feel right now.”

America’s first African-American to be elected President further faces the challenge to live up to soaring expectations of delivering what may become another milestone in the history of speeches.

Matt Bennett, a former deputy assistant in the Clinton White House said: “This will be the most consequential speech since Roosevelt’s in the Great Depression and in the top two or three since Lincoln.”

Michael Gerson, ex lead speechwriter for President George W Bush, added: “The best speeches have evoked unity at turning points for the nation.” (ANI)
