Hugh Hefner kicks out former twin lovers for frolicking with young men

London, May 20 (ANI): Hugh Hefner has kicked his former twin lovers out of the Playboy Mansion after they disobeyed his no-boyfriends house rule by bringing in younger men.

Hefner, 84, is said to have become furious after 20-year-old Karissa and Kristina Shannon ignored his warning.

“After a couple of weeks, Hef was getting a little bit upset about the boyfriends, so he wanted us to move out,” the Sun quoted Karissa as saying.

“We need to update people about what’s going on. We were not allowed to have boys in the house. That was the absolute number one rule – no boys allowed.

“That was one of the main reasons we moved out. But living there and being seen out with other guys, Hugh was tripping,” she added. (ANI)

Hollywood sign to be turned into a luxury hotel

Melbourne, May 11 (ANI): As part of a unique project, the iconic Hollywood sign would be turned into a luxury hotel with spectacular views.

The idea has come from Danish architect firm Bay Arch, which aims to preserve the image of the Hollywood sign and make use of its unique location.

It invites travellers to stay in one of the letters of the iconic signs and enjoy amazing views of Los Angeles.

The sign will be more than double its current size at a height of 105 feet (32 metres), and there will be 308 rooms divided into 10 floors plus an observation deck.

The hotel will boast various amenities such as a movie theatre, pool area, restaurants, a conference room, a museum.

Each room will have a different theme showing the history of Hollywood, and in a special touch the sign will be illuminated at night.

“What I”m trying with this project is to highlight an unused resource in LA – a resource which can generate a nice revenue to the city and maybe even the state of California,” News.com.au quoted architect Christian Bay – Jorgensen, owner of Bay Arch, as saying.

“I hope that people will see the proposal as a future of the Hollywood sign… The transformation of the sign will create a public spot there isn”t seen somewhere else in LA,” he added.

He is aiming to gather a team of investors, developers, hotel operators, designers and engineers to take the proposal to the next step.

The project will then be presented to the mayor of Los Angeles and the governor of California.

However, some, including the President of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce Leron Gubler, dismissed the idea as being “too far fetched”.

The new proposal comes as the battle to save the sign from developers raged recently, with Playboy founder Hugh Hefner topping up the funds to save the sign from developers last week. (ANI)

Hefner wants Downey, Jr. for his biopic

London, Apr 28 (ANI): Playboy boss Hugh Hefner is convinced that Robert Downey, Jr. is the only actor who can play him on the big screen.

And the tycoon told the Hollywood star just that when they met on the red carpet at the Iron Man 2 premiere in Los Angeles, reports The Daily Express.

Hefner says, “I told him, ”I couldn”t do better”.”

Meanwhile, Hefner admitted he”s still waiting for the right screenplay. (ANI)

Generous Hefner saves ‘HOLLYWOOD’ with $900k-donation

London, April 27 (ANI): Playboy magazine’s founder Hugh Hefner has saved the Hollywood sign by donating 900,000 dollars needed to prevent a development that would block the famous landmark on Hollywood hills.

Built in 1923, the sign is 450ft-long. The land on which it stands was recently put on sale. It was being feared that developers would buy the land to build grand homes.

Public Trust For Lands, an NPO, launched a campaign to purchase the 138-acre site known as Cahuenga Peak. The trust needed to raise 12.5 million dollars for the possession, reports The Telegraph.

And Hefner’s charity made them reach their target soon.

“My childhood dreams and fantasies came from the movies, and the images created in Hollywood had a major influence on my life and Playboy. The Hollywood sign is Hollywood”s Eiffel Tower and I”m pleased to help preserve such an important cultural landmark,” Hefner said.

It was “the Hollywood ending we hoped for,” California”s governor Arnold Schwarzenegger said, announcing the conclusion of the campaign.

“It”s a symbol of dreams and opportunity. The Hollywood sign will welcome dreamers, artists and Austrian bodybuilders for generations to come. I did what the Terminator was supposed to do, and that was to jump into action,” Schwarzenegger added. (ANI)

Playboy Bunny Girl outfit up for grabs

Melbourne, March 27 (ANI): Women have been offered a chance to own their very own Playboy Bunny Girl outfit for the first time after owner Hugh Hefner agreed to produce a limited edition.

The Playboy mogul was said to have initially brushed aside the idea but nodded to it for the firm”s 50th anniversary, according to The Sun.

The costume, invented in the 1960s and worn by waitresses at The Playboy Clubs, consists of a rayon-satin corset, bunny ears, a collar, cuffs and a fluffy cottontail, News.com.au reported.

The outfit, a part of the Playboy Bunny”s mystique, will be up for grabs for 74 dollars in Ann Summers stores and online. (ANI)

Hefner’s girlfriends to install stripper poles in bedroom

Washington, September 18 (ANI): Hugh Hefner’s girlfriends Kristina and Karissa Shannon are planning to install stripper poles in their bedroom at the Playboy mansion.

The twins seem really excited though they do not share the same bed with the 83-year-old Playboy mogul, who prefers to sleep with 23-year-old Crystal Harris.

“Our room is pimp. We’ve got the round spinning bed from Chicago, a kicka*s big-screen TV and we have the perfect view of all the parties in the backyard. And we’re getting a stripper pole in there, too,” Contactmusic quoted Karissa as telling E! Online.

“We’re the wild ones and party animals, and Crystal’s really calm and mellow,” she added.

However, they are not too happy with peacocks kept in the plush residence.

She said: “We don’t like the peacocks here. They poop everywhere, and they’re loud.”

Meanwhile, Crystal mentioned that it was like a dream come true for her.

She said: “I feel like I’m in a Disney castle. There’s help everywhere when you need it. It’s just so fun. Hugh is the sweetest person, and he’s the most down-to-earth person.

“We actually have a lot in common. We were both psychology majors in school and we laugh a lot together. We watch movies together. We love relaxing and having a good time and hanging out with the girls. We just keep it fun.”

The trio started dating Hugh earlier this year, after he bid goodbye to his last girlfriends Holly Madison, Kendra Wilkinson and Bridget Marquardt. (ANI)

Hefner says he remained married for kids’ sake

London, September 15 (ANI): Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner has said that he postponed his divorce from his estranged second wife for the sake of their children.

The 83-year-old filed for divorce earlier this month, after an 11-year separation from former Playmate of the Year Kimberly Conrad Hefner.

Hefner, presently dating Playmates Crystal Harris, 23, and twins Karissa and Kristina Shannon, 19, said that he waited “because of the children” – his youngest son Cooper turned 18 on September 4.

“Now is the time. I stayed married not because it was a marriage – the marriage ended in 1998. I stayed because she wanted me to,” the Daily Express quoted him as saying.

The two got married in 1989, and separated nine years later.

They, however, remained legally wed.

Conrad, 47, is the mother of two of Hefner’s four kids, and had for years been supported by him in a home next to the Playboy mansion. (ANI)

Secret to looking good: Stand next to a less attractive friend!

Melbourne, September 11 (ANI): If you’re having trouble finding a partner for yourself then just take a less attractive friend along the next time you go to a party.

According to scientists in the UK, people’s opinions are often based on the company others keep, and if one member is less attractive, then the next person automatically looks more appealing.

“You get a bit of a contrast effect when you stand beside someone of the same sex. If your friend is unattractive that makes you relatively more attractive,” the Herald Sun quoted Stirling University psychologist Dr Anthony Little as telling the Daily Mail.

Some other pick-up tips include being surrounded with members of the opposite sex.

He told the British Science Festival: “If you were just looking at Hugh Hefner’s physical attractiveness you might not be that impressed with him.

“But as soon as you see him with beautiful women you might infer other traits, for instance, you might infer he is a multi-millionaire or charming or witty. He somehow becomes more attractive.” (ANI)

Hillel Chodos, a lawyer for Conrad, 47, the mother of two of Hefner’s four children, said: “Mr. Hefner’s divorce filing speak for itself, and we’ll respond in due course.” (ANI)

‘Playboy’ wins rights to serialise Vladimir Nabokov’s novella

London, Jul 10 (ANI): Rights to the final work of late Russian-born American novelist, Vladimir Nabokov’s novella, which has stayed hidden for more than 30 years, has been won by Playboy magazine.

Playboy is to serialise the unfinished novella, ‘The Original of Laura’, and publish it this autumn in what has been widely described as the literary event of the year.

Hugh Hefner’s title won the bidding war this week to carry a hefty, 5,000-word excerpt of the novella.

Nabokov had a long and mutually agreeable relationship with Playboy, which serialised his 1969 novel, Ada, and also conducted a number of important interviews with him, in which he discussed some of the controversy that surrounded his most famous novel, Lolita.

However, there was a disagreement on whether the author would be happy to see a chunk of Laura amid the magazine’s usual fare of scantily clad women and celebrity interviews.

The late writer’s dying wish had been for the uncompleted work to be destroyed by his heirs, but the wish was disregarded and the novella was locked away ever since his death in 1977.

But last spring, Nabokov’s son Dmitri decided to put the book on the market, with Andrew Wylie, a famously predatory literary agent known as “the Jackal”, chosen to market it.

The novella tells the story about an overweight academic in an unhappy marriage to a promiscuous woman.

Playboy’s deal to publish the serialisation on 10 November, a week before the book goes on sale, was the result of a lengthy courtship by the magazine’s literary editor, Amy Grace Loyd, who resorted to sending several shipments of flowers to Wylie.

“I was very persistent, as I often am, and I try forcibly to remind people of our literary history because it is very easy for people to dismiss us,” the Independent quoted her as telling the New York Observer.

“I’m so glad all those orchids did not die in vain,” she added. (ANI)

The busty Playboy blonde, a former girlfriend of Hugh Hefner, did the X-rated underwater display as she posed for a kinky shoot.

She could be seen resting seductively on the seabed before popping out of the water for a shot of her famous chest.

Madison also flashed her bum as she leaned over a giant rock. (ANI)

Kendra Wilkinson plans on being a strict Christian mother

Washington, Jul 7 (ANI): After a life in the limelight, and living as one of Hugh Hefner’s girlfriends, Kendra Wilkinson has admitted that she is ready to become a strict religious mother.

Wilkinson, 24, who is married to Hank Baskett, said that she was definitely bringing up her child to be a Christian.

“Our child will definitely be Christian,” Fox News quoted Wilkinson as saying.

Basket added that they were going to be “very strict”, but still will “spoil” their young ones at appropriate times.

“But they are going to have to earn it, we’re not just going to hand it to them. Most importantly, they have to keep good grades because school comes first and then everything else after that,” he said.

“Being a father is something I’ve always wanted and something Kendra and I have talked about from the time we met, we’re just truly excited and truly blessed to be becoming parents very soon.

“We pretty much fell in love right away and when you ask someone to marry you that means you really want them to be the woman in charge of your family, the person to be your team-mate in raising the child,” he added. (ANI)

Kendra Wilkinson “looked like a princess” on wedding, says Holly Madison

Washington, June 29 (ANI): American model Holly Madison has said that her friend and former Playboy model Kendra Wilkinson “looked like a princess” on her wedding.

The bombshell married American footballer Hank Baskett at the Playboy mansion.

Madison described the dress Wilkinson wore as “tight bodice and poofy skirt.”

“It was a princess dress, which was fitting. It was really pretty and she looked gorgeous,” People magazine quoted her as saying.

“She looked like a princess,” she added.

Playboy owner and the bride’s ex-boyfriend Hugh Hefner was also present at the wedding with whom she took to the dance floor after first dancing with her new husband.

Hugh Hefner’s bevy of Bunnies through the years revealed

Washington, June 29 (ANI): Popular as the world’s most legendary bachelor, Hugh Hefner has had a long string of girlfriends, who have not only bared it all on Playboy pages, but have also added glamour to the raunchiest of parties at the mansion.

Fox News has now named some of the women the 83-year-old Playboy boss has wooed over the years.

These women are:

Barbi Benton

In 1968, a teenage extra named Barbara Klein was acting as 42-year-old Hefner’s girlfriend in the series ‘Playboy After Dark’, only to end up as his real-life ladylove, reports Fox News.

She changed her name to Barbi Benton, and went on to become ’70s pop-culture icon, who went on to star in such B-movies as ‘The Third Girl from the Left’ and ‘Deathstalker’.

But contrary to popular belief, she was never a Playboy Playmate or Bunny, despite being featured in pictorials and on the magazine’s cover. She helped Hugh go house hunting and find the not-so-little property that would become the Playboy Mansion.

But, when she finally figured out Hefner wasn’t going to settle down and start a family, she left the man and the mansion and married real estate developer George Gradow.

Sondra Theodore

Sonda Theodore was a Sunday school teacher turned Playmate of the Month. She lived with Hef in the late ’70s and was a member of the ‘Singing Playmates’.

But her real claim to fame is that she’s one of the lovely ladies (the other is Patti McGuire) portrayed with Hef on the 1978 Playboy pinball machine.

Shannon Tweed

A Canadian TV series called ‘Thrill of a Lifetime’ helped make Shannon Tweed’s dreams of Playboy stardom come true, as the show arranged for her to pose for the famous men’s magazine, and she became Miss November 1981. Her then-boyfriend, Hugh Hefner, also dubbed her 1982′s Playmate of the Year.

Shannon left Hefner to pursue her acting career, and has been living with Gene Simmons in unwedded bliss since 1985.

Carrie Leigh

Playboy Playmate Carrie Leigh was 19 years old when she moved into the Playboy Mansion to live with boyfriend Hugh Hefner (who was then 56). Their roller-coaster romance lasted five years and suffered a string of dark times.

Carrie dumped the millionaire over the phone and then slapped him with a 35 million dollars palimony suit, but eventually dropped the litigation.

Kimberly Conrad

Kimberly Conrad, the former Miss January 1988 was named Playmate of the Year in 1989 and she ended Hugh Hefner’s 35-year bachelor spree by marrying the ultimate playboy.

They were together for nine years and had two sons (Marston and Cooper) before splitting. But they have not divorced and have been living in separate side-by-side houses, until now.

Brande Broderick

Hugh Hefner met actress Brande Broderick at L.A. hot spot the Opium Den, and she quickly became his number one girlfriend. Brande was named Playmate in April 2000, but she still wanted to act. So she left the mansion to join the cast of a way-more-sophisticated production ‘Baywatch’. In 2001 she was the first of her beach bunny co-stars to be named Playmate of the Year.

Tina Jordan

Hugh Hefner moved the single mother Tina Jordan into his Bel Air palace and made her Playmate of the Month in March 2002. Since splitting with Hef, she’s appeared on ‘The Surreal Life’, had her own radio show, and shot a pictorial for the paintball magazine ‘Splat’.

Holly Madison, Hugh Hefner, and Bridget Marquardt

Holly Madison had been going to parties at the Playboy Mansion for a year when Hugh Hefner finally asked her out on a date, and ultimately, invited her to be his number one girlfriend. Bridget Marquardt had a couple of failed test shoots for a Playmate slot and was rejected from the mag but welcomed into Hef’s house. Kendra Wilkinson met Hef when she was a body-painted model at his 78th birthday party (she was 18). The love quadrangle broke up in 2008.

Holly is busy with her stint in the topless Vegas review ‘Peepshow’, while Bridget is jaunting around the world’s beaches and Kendra has married her football star fiance, Hank Bassett, this weekend, and is due to have his baby on Christmas Day. (ANI)

Kendra Wilkinson ties the knot at Playboy mansion

Washington, June 28 (ANI): Kendra Wilkinson tied the knot with NFL player Hank Baskett at her former residence, the Playboy mansion.

The Playboy Playmate walked down the aisle at the Los Angeles property in the exclusive Holmby Hills on June 27.

The glamour girl was seen sporting more than 100,000 dollars worth of platinum jewellery, including drop earrings, a pendant and bracelet to match her white dress.

Attending the ceremony was her famous ex and Playboy founder Hugh Hefner and fellow Playmate Bridget Marquardt.

“She was beaming,” People magazine quoted an eyewitness as saying.

Wilkinson, at the recent premiere of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, said: “I feel great! We’re just ready to say our ‘I do’s’ and just go on our honeymoon and we’re ready to be married.”

Earlier this month, the couple revealed that they were expecting their first child. (ANI)

Dirty details of Kendra Wilkinson’s bachelorette party revealed

Washington, June 25 (ANI): Hugh Hefner’s ex-girlfriend Bridget Marquardt has revealed the raunchy sex game details of Kendra Wilkinson’s bachelorette party, reportedly held last week in Hollywood.

“There are two games that are kind of raunchy,” Fox News quoted Marquardt as saying.

The TV host revealed that a certain sex toy is passed between the legs and if you are caught when the music stops you’re out.

“The other one is just a story-telling game! When you give Kendra her present you have to tell about how old you were when it was your first time, who it was with and where you were …” Marquardt added. (ANI)
