New York, May 6 (ANI): According to Courtney Love, she’s good in bed because she”s unattractive.

Love recently told music journalist Toure she”s a love goddess “because I was never pretty.

“Pretty girls just lie there. Us girls who grew up a little more homely have to try a lot harder.

“That”s why pretty girls never threaten me — it”s like, yeah, you want to take me on? Take me on. Go for it.”

Toure interviewed Love for Fuse”s “On the Record” show, reports The New York Post.

Love, recently, claimed on “The Howard Stern Show” that she had an affair with Gavin Rossdale after he married No Doubt singer Gwen Stefani. (ANI)

New York, Apr 28 (ANI): Courtney Love has claimed that she had an affair with Gavin Rossdale during his relationship with Gwen Stefani.

It was during an appearance on Howard Stern”s Sirius XM radio show Monday that the Hole rocker made the claim, reports The New York Daily News.

Love, 45, said that she had a “vision of marrying Gavin Rossdale one time … We were like, ”Let”s go spend our rock star money!””

She said they “had a really good time” together.

“Everyone gave me so much s— because Gavin sounded like a lot like Kurt….” Love said. “But man, he was such an Adonis in his day! He got good in bed … something happened. Maybe Gwen taught him, for all I know.”

When Love was asked if she was sleeping with Rossdale when he was dating Stefani, she said, “Yes … she does know.”

“Everyone … yeah … and a few other people,” Love continued. “We didn”t have a lot of pressure on each other, but we did like each other quite a bit.”

Rossdale has been married to Stefani since 2002. (ANI)

London, Mar 17 (ANI): Gwen Stefani and Megan Fox have made it to a new list of top Hollywood bodies.

For Fitness Magazine’s new Hollywood”s Best Bodies issue, readers voted for the stars with the best abs, bottoms and style, reports The Daily Star.

In the Best Celebrity Abs category, Gwen Stefani won 55 per cent of the votes, while Fox has the most coveted derriere, according to the survey.

Jessica Biel claimed 54 per cent of the Best Workout Style vote. (ANI)

Gwen Stefani still haunted by her fear of exams

London, June 27 (ANI): Gwen Stefani might have enjoyed a wildly successful career with the rock band ‘No Doubt’ and as a solo artist, but as a school kid she was convinced that she was talentless.

The 39-year-old star admits that she was a bad student, and that she is still haunted by her fear of exams.

“School was just really hard for me. I didn’t want to fail I wanted to be smart! But I was really dreaming, like drawing my boyfriend’s name on my notebooks. It was such a disaster. It’s so sad! It makes me sad when I think about it. I still have nightmares about tests,” the Daily Star quoted her as telling America’s Elle magazine.

“I never had any kind of ambitions. I just thought I was going to have babies… When I found out that I could write songs, I felt like all of a sudden I’d found myself. Like, really, this power that I had that I never had before. It was amazing to have something that I could do after the whole school problem,” she added. (ANI)

Washington, May 27 (ANI): Gwen Stefani gave her three-year-old son a birthday to remember after getting him onstage during No Doubt’s concert in Utah.

The lead vocalist wished the tot as the reunited band took to the stage for their first tour in five years in Salt Lake City.

The blonde singer cradled the youngster in her arms while leading fans in a rendition of Happy Birthday, reports Contactmusic.

Kingston was seen waving to the crowd before resuming the rest of the band’s set.

Washington, May 2 (ANI): Henna, which has been playing a vital role in Hindu weddings since ancient times, is becoming popular with Hollywood and other celebrities.

Also known as mehndi, it is turning into an in-thing with celebrities as a trendy alternative to traditional tattoos. Although the final result is similar to tattoo, but the mehndi experience is delightful and painless, and the images are temporary, according to acclaimed Hindu statesman Rajan Zed.

Starting with actress Demi Moore and singer Gwen Stefani, many celebrities have been seen sporting this body art, including entertainer Madonna; actresses Drew Barrymore, Daryl Hannah, Angela Bassett, Laura Dern, Kathleen Robertson, Mira Sorvino, Naomi Campbell, Trudie Styler, Nicole Eggert, Justine Bateman, Yasmine Bleeth, Liv Tyler, and Barbara Hershey; musicians The Artist Formerly Known as Prince and Sting; singers Mayte Garcia and Erykah Badu; actors Elijah Wood and Laurence Fishburne; boxers Kassim Ouma, Michael Katsidis, and Bernard Hopkins; model Nell McAndrew.

Associated with joy, celebration, festivals, and weddings, it has a recent renaissance in Hollywood.

Some popular magazines and CD covers had been decorated with henna art, besides it being seen in some Hollywood movies.

Many henna themed parties involving celebrities, including birthdays, baby showers, bridal showers, nightclub events, are sometimes held in Hollywood.

Henna has reportedly been used for body art and hair dye since Bronze Age.

It finds references in India’s court records dating back to around 400 CE, in Rome during Roman Empire, in Spain during Convivienca, in medical texts of Ebers Papyrus, in Syria and Egypt in 14th century CE.

Henna as a ceremonial art form is said to have originated in ancient India. It can last anywhere from few days to few months depending on the type of the paste.

Mehndi plays a vital role in Hindu wedding and practically no marriage is considered complete without it. During earlier times, some bridal mehndi processes took four to five days to complete. It is also applied during various Hindu fasts like Karvachauth.

Rajan Zed, who is president of Universal Society of Hinduism, urged the henna loving celebrities to explore some rich philosophical thought of Hinduism, which is oldest religion of the world with moksha (liberation) as ultimate goal. (ANI)

Gwen Stefani’s marriage on rocks after hubby’s gay lover claims

Melbourne, Apr 23 (ANI): Gwen Stefani’s married life has run into trouble following claims that her husband Gavin Rossdale had an affair with cross-dressing male singer Marilyn.

According to gossip website Bitten and Bound, Marilyn, born Peter Robinson, has revealed that he was involved with Rossdale for five years before he married Stefani.

In 1995, Boy George’s biography, “Take It Like a Man,” had revealed that cross-dressing singer and the Bush frontman had been lovers in the 80s.

However, both Marilyn and Rossdale denied the claims.

But in an interview to In Touch magazine, Marilyn now tells that he agreed to deny their affair because of Rossdale’s growing music career.

“He was just becoming successful in America. I agreed to lie against every grain in my body,” the Daily Telegraph quoted him as saying.

“We were together five years, but it felt like forty.

Marilyn added Rossdale “was the love of my life.” (ANI)

London, Mar 27 (ANI): Singer Gwen Stefani’s eldest son Kingston may be just two years old, yet he is all set to live the Rock n roll lifestyle, for he will be accompanying his rocker father Gavin Rossdale during his forthcoming tour.

London, Mar 21 (ANI): Hollywood actress Gemma Arterton, who created waves with her utterly fashionable style in the recent Bond flick, committed a fashion faux pas when she accidentally flashed her knickers while getting into a cab.

London, Mar 18 (ANI): Singer Gwen Stefani has revealed that she stole her son’s name Zuma from No Doubt bandmate.

Gwen was struggling to find a name for her son with husband Gavin Rosssdale, but she finally settled for the name Zuma after No Doubt guitarist Tom Dumont’s wife Mieke rejected it.

Although it was claimed that Gwen named her son after her favourite beach, it was actually her bandmate who gave her the idea.
“I kind of stole it from him. I didn’t steal it, I mean his wife didn’t want it. It was just one of those things that just happened. I just wanted Zuma to have a little bit of a quirky name,” the Daily Star quoted Gwen as telling radio show Mojo in the Morning.

New Delhi, Mar 10 (ANI): Gwen Stefani’s husband Gavin Rossdale has candidly revealed that he and his wife bathe together in a bid to save water and help the environment.

Gavin, who has two sons with Gwen, Kingston, 2, and 6-month-old Zuma, insisted that every family should adopt the same technique to do their bit for the environment, reports The China Daily.

“All families should bathe together. It’s the least they could do!” Gavin said.

Meanwhile, Gwen revealed that she and Gavin have a new nickname for Kingston because he is currently going through a troublesome stage.

Washington, Mar 05 (ANI): Singer Katy Perry has made it evident that she is in no mood to rush her fashion line, as the completion of the plan will take years.

Although the ‘I Kissed A Girl’ hitmaker has landed a lucrative deal to design her own fashion collection, based on her own quirky sense of style, she wants to wait a bit so as to ensure that her clothing line is of deluxe quality.

J.Lo keeps diamonds worth $50,000 she borrowed for show

New York, Mar 5 (ANI): American actress Jennifer Lopez is said to have kept 50,000 dollars worth of diamonds that she had borrowed from Robert Mouawad to wear at the launch of Andrea Lieberman’s fashion line, ALC.

The event, which took place at Barneys in Beverly Hills last week, also saw Gwen Stefani, Leah Remini and Ellen Pompeo wearing borrowed jewellery from the Swiss jeweller.

While they returned the baubles, Lopez decided to hang on to them.

“We received a call from [her manager] Benny Medina, informing us that Jennifer was going to keep the jewellery,” the New York Post quoted an insider as saying.

“As far as Mr. Mouawad is concerned, Jennifer can have whatever she wants, but a premature demand seemed presumptuous,” the insider added.

But it seems that the designer were not offended despite Lopez retaining the jewellery.

“Mr. Mouawad is the Swiss billionaire who purchased the 60-carat flawless Mondera Diamond for 50 million dollars,” a source said.

“He will lose no sleep over 50,000 dollars, and frankly, Jennifer’s endorsement is priceless,” the source stated.

When Lopez’s manager, Medina, was contacted in Santiago, Chile, he revealed that in return for hosting the show for her friend, the actress would be given the entire collection of jewellery and clothes.

“There was no demand whatsoever. There was an offer. It was very clear,” he said.

“She was the only celebrity whose name was on the invite. She would have done it for nothing.

“But this was how it was presented. It was quite a generous offer,” he added. (ANI)
