Jordan likened to ‘plastic Barbie’

London, May 20 (ANI): Diana Moran, the ‘Green Goddess’, has likened Katie Price a.k.a Jordan to a ‘Plastic Barbie’.

Moran claims that women suffering from inferiority complex are going for plastic surgeries so that they could like the glamour model, reports the Telegraph.

The fitness expert became known as the “Green Goddess” because of her garish leotards.

Still fit at 70, Moran blames the cult of celebrity for increasing the pressure on women to go under the surgeon”s knife. (ANI)

400-yard naked ‘Green Goddess’ set to lure tourists in Northumberland

London, July 2 (ANI): A 400-yard naked “Green Goddess” is set to lure tourists in Northumberland, England.

The sculpture, the work of artist Charles Jencks, will be carved into the Northumberland landscape, towering 112ft into the sky and is expected to cost nearly 2.5 million pounds.

Northumberlandia, tagged the “Goddess of the North”, will be raised with the help of two million tonnes of earth under a new plan from an open cast mine in Cramlington.

Northumberlandia stands for an “attempt to provide a tangible, early and permanent benefit for south-east Northumberland,” said The Banks Group.

“Our duel aims with Northumberlandia were to create an outstanding artistic landmark which stands alongside the region’s other main tourist attractions and to provide high quality leisure facilities for the local community, and we believe this final design will succeed on both counts,” the Telegraph quoted Mark Dowdall, environment and community director at the firm, as saying.

But county councillor Wayne Daley told the BBC that the idea was “ridiculous”.

He said: “If we wanted something like this why didn’t we just ask Jordan to open a theme park. It really is ridiculous to think that something like a naked woman, who is only there as a result of all of the slag and the coal from the mine, is a good way of attracting people to Cramlington.” (ANI)
