Madonna cancels auction of her journals on eBay

London, May 6 (ANI): Madonna has cancelled the sale of journals written by her on eBay.

The Material Girl star sent her representatives to take her journals off the auction after an unknown man alleged that he had placed 12 personal tomes allegedly written by Madonna between 1988 and 1992 on the website, and was hoping to earn millions of pounds for the possessions, reports The Daily Star.

The eBay user claims that he bought the journals and other personal items that include the superstar’s photos, for just 100 pounds in a blind auction from a storage facility in Chatsworth, California.

Madonna’s representatives however, insisted that ‘they’ were the rightful owners of the periodicals and convinced the auctioneers to take them off the website, according to TMZ.com.

A spokesperson for the auction website has confirmed the cancellation after the singer”s reps contacted them to make a claim.

However, the unnamed seller is still reportedly insisting the items belong to him. (ANI)

Chace Crawford prefers dating commoners to actresses

Melbourne, May 4 (ANI): Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford says he prefers dating a girl who isn’t an actress.

The 24-year-old heartthrob, who previously dated country music star Carrie Underwood, told Showbizspy that he’d rather be in a relationship with someone who is in a different industry than in the showbiz.

“My friends think that dating within the industry is better because you’re on the same level. You understand more. At the same time it can get a bit sticky because schedules can get tight,” The Daily Telegraph quoted him as saying.

“There are pros and cons to everything, but I think it can be a little more refreshing to date someone who isn’t in the profession.

“When I’m into a girl, I’d like to think I’m a good boyfriend. I’m not really into the cheesy stuff. I like the personal little things. I get creative, it’s got to be tailored to the girl though,” he added. (ANI)

Volcanic ash chaos turns romantic for Chace Crawford

London, April 24 (ANI): The Icelandic volcanic ash cloud, that left passengers stranded at European airports, brought romance for actor Chace Crawford – the Gossip Girl star was seen enjoying a date in London, it has emerged.

Crawford, 24, who flew into London early last week for the promotion of his new flick Twelve, found himself stuck in the UK after flights across northern Europe were cancelled due to the heavy ash cloud floating in the skies.

But Crawford used the opportunity to his favour and was spotted with a Brit actress, named only as Tessa.

He was reportedly seen enjoying an evening with the blonde, and was snapped leaving a London night spot with his arm around her waist.

“Chace was trapped in London, so he spent his time with Tessa. They were introduced by a friend and really hit it off. He had to return to the U.S. for work, but he hopes he”ll see her again,” the Daily Express quoted a source as telling the New York Post. (ANI)

Washington, July 13 (ANI): Sienna Miller insists she’s putting her career before her love life and is too busy to have a relationship.

The ‘Factory Girl’ star – who was recently rumoured to have rekindled her romance with father-of-four Balthazar Getty – has decided to put her career ahead of her love life, and doesn’t care if she ever finds a boyfriend.

“Honestly I don’t have time for those type of things. But I do agree that summer is an ideal time to fall in love. Lately I’m non-stop and really working a lot, so I don’t have time for doing romantic things. But it’s OK for now, I really don’t mind,” Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

When the stunning actress gets time off, she likes to spend time in her garden.

“I love cooking and I’ve got a cottage in the country. I’m planting a vegetable patch and a garden, so I’ve become green fingered recently,” she said.

London, July 12 (ANI): Sienna Miller and her married beau Balthazar Getty have reportedly decided to move in together.

The Factory Girl star parted ways with Getty in May.

However, after reconciliation last month, the pair is now said to be looking for a house together.

“Sienna wants to settle down with Balthazar. She’s been talking babies and marriage since they got back together and wants it to work this time,” News of the World quoted a friend as saying.

“While Balthazar isn’t keen on getting married again, he has agreed they should move in together.

Washington, June 23 (ANI): After Paris Hilton, Pamela Anderson, Kim Kardashian and Elizabeth Jagger, Leighton Meester’s alleged sex tape is in the circuit, but it’s too expensive for website owners.

The video featuring the Gossip Girl star priced at a staggering 100,000 dollars is, apparently, shot with an ex-boyfriend when she was 18 years old.

However, Jim McBride, owner of MrSkin.com, the world’s leading source for celebs flashing the flesh, did not accept the offer.

“It was definitely a legitimate offer and it was from a professional who has done this before,” Fox News quoted him as saying.

“But we passed, it’s not our thing. I celebrate nudity in movies and TV, but always with respect for the actresses who choose to bare their bodies on-screen. Homemade sex tapes fall beyond that scope,” he explained.

New York, June 21 (ANI): Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester’s alleged sex tape has surfaced on the Internet.

The grainy black-and-white video that shows a possible nude Meester indulging in erotic antics is reportedly bought by celebhotline.com, reports New York Post.he site allows thrill-seekers to peek at the woman’s bare breasts, who resembles Meester.

“Did you know, she’s a natural blonde,” the site says, adding: “This is 100percent the REAL Leighton Meester who plays the sexy socialite Blair Waldorf on the popular television series.”

Meester’s rep has refused to comment on the tape.

According to TMZ.com, the tape was shot a few years ago by an old boyfriend. (ANI)

New York, May 29 (ANI): Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford seems to have a new gal pal.

And, according to the sources, its Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Esti Ginzburg.

The 19-year-old model was seen constantly texting Crawford at dinner party thrown by fashion label Sergio Rossi and later left the party to go meet up with him, reports the New York Post.

Ginzburg is slated to star with Crawford in “Twelve,” a Joel Schumacher’s adaptation of Nick McDonell’s book about drug-addled NYC prep schoolers.

Meanwhile, Crawford would be replacing Zac Efron in the remake of ‘Footloose’.

Cheryl Cole named 2009′s Best Dressed Woman, Style Icon of the Decade

Washington, Apr 7 (ANI): Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole has beaten supermodel Kate Moss and Victoria Beckham to be voted as the best-dressed woman of the year and style icon of the decade.

In the poll conducted by television channel The Style Network, Cole was voted as the ‘Best Dressed Woman of 2009 along with the style icon accolade.

The survey involving 3000 women also showed that women were seen as at their most stylish when aged between 25 and 30.

Wrapping up the top five were TV presenter Alexa Chung and Gossip Girl star Blake Lively.

“In the past year, Cheryl Cole has become everyone’s style crush,” the Telegraph quoted Jo Elvin, editor of Glamour, as saying.

“She’s ridiculously gorgeous, beautifully groomed and always glossy, glossy, glossy,” Elvin added.

Chace Crawford hounded by ‘Footloose’ fans

London, Apr 5 (ANI): Actor Chace Crawford has been mobbed by teenage girls ever since his name was attached to ‘Footloose’ remake.

The Gossip Girl star has reportedly auditioned to replace Zac Efron in the 1984 film remake, after the latter dropped out.

And studio bosses are said to be happy with his screen test.

The 23-year-old star has faced constant serenading from his female fans while filming hit show Gossip Girl in New York, which has forced TV execs to beef up the security.

It has also forced Crawford to seek refuge in his native Texas.

“They had to beef up security because more girls have been showing up to set every day singing Footloose,” the Daily Express quoted a source as telling E! Online.

Sienna Miller condemns other women for being ‘too bitchy’

London, Feb 17 (ANI): Actress Sienna Miller has said that she’s been “at war” with other women because they are “too bitchy” when it comes to judging her.

The ‘Factory Girl’ star, who fuelled a controversy after she was spotted dating married Balthazar Getty, says that women do not have any sisterhood among them unlike men.

“I’ve been at war, without a doubt. I’ve really experienced the judgment of women in the past year,” the Mirror quoted her as telling Style Magazine.

The 27-year-old actress added: “We say we want to be equal, but men don’t sit around bitching at each other. There’s no sisterhood.”

Miller’s comments came with respect to her relationship with the oil heir who insisted he was already separated from his wife when he dated the actress. (ANI)
