Duffy dating British Lions rugby star Mike Phillips

London, Sep 3 (ANI): Welsh singer Duffy, real name Aimee Ann Duffy, is said to be dating British Lions rugby star Mike Phillips.

Sources say that Phillips, 27, dumped his girlfriend last week so that he could start dating Duffy, 25, who had a No1 hit with Mercy.

“Mike and Duffy went for their second date this week and they have fallen for each other,” the Sun quoted a source as saying.

“Mike got her number from his agent a couple of weeks ago and texted her.

“It’s like Gavin and Charlotte – he wants to raise his profile and fancied Duffy so he thought he’d try his luck.

“As soon as Duffy agreed to a date he dumped his poor girlfriend Claire. He makes no secret that he wants to be the new Gavin and Charlotte. Claire is gutted.

“He had set his sights on opera singer Katherine Jenkins a while back, but she wasn’t interested,” the source added.

Gavin Henson, 27, and Charlotte Church, 23, were christened the Posh and Becks of Wales when they started dating in 2005. (ANI)

Charlotte Church, Gavin Henson have not parted ways, say relatives

London, May 13 (ANI): Relatives of Charlotte Church and Gavin Henson have blasted reports claiming the singer and her rugby beau have split.

Previous reports had suggested that Gavin had slept at his parents’ home for at least three nights in the last couple of weeks.

It was further alleged that the couple, that has been involved for four years and have two children, had been falling into arguments frequently.

But Charlotte’s mum Maria dubbed the story “ridiculous”, a claim backed by Gavin’s aunt Anne.

“It’s not true. Gavin hasn’t been staying overnight at his parents’ house. I don’t know where they get this from but there’s no truth in it,” the Sun quoted Anne as saying.

“Gavin and Charlotte are very happy – that’s all his parents care about,” she added. (ANI)

Gwen Stefani’s son to tour with rocker dad

London, Mar 27 (ANI): Singer Gwen Stefani’s eldest son Kingston may be just two years old, yet he is all set to live the Rock n roll lifestyle, for he will be accompanying his rocker father Gavin Rossdale during his forthcoming tour.

Gavin is thrilled to have his son accompany him on his tour for the first time.

“It’s going to be fun. We’re getting him a bunk so he won’t fall out – that’s the main thing,” the Daily express quoted Gavin as saying.

Gwen and Gavin also have a 7-month-old son Zuma together, who will stay back with his mother. (ANI)

London, Mar 16 (ANI): The Comic Relief charity single, ‘Islands in the Stream’, by Gavin and Stacey stars Rob Brydon and Ruth Jones has topped the UK singles chart.

The single, featuring Sir Tom Jones, beat off competition from ‘Right Round’ by US rapper Flo Rida and Kesha to claim the top spot.

In the albums chart, Irish rockers U2 held on at the top with No Line in the Horizon, reports the BBC.

Annie Lennox was a new entry at number two with her greatest hits collection.

American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson also had a new entry in the chart with ‘All I Ever Wanted’.

New Delhi, Mar 10 (ANI): Gwen Stefani’s husband Gavin Rossdale has candidly revealed that he and his wife bathe together in a bid to save water and help the environment.

Gavin, who has two sons with Gwen, Kingston, 2, and 6-month-old Zuma, insisted that every family should adopt the same technique to do their bit for the environment, reports The China Daily.

“All families should bathe together. It’s the least they could do!” Gavin said.

Meanwhile, Gwen revealed that she and Gavin have a new nickname for Kingston because he is currently going through a troublesome stage.

“Kingston is in that terrible twos. Gavin calls him Sid Vicious. He’s like, ‘You gave birth to Sid Vicious.’ He’s definitely got an attitude and Zuma is the opposite. He’s like this cool, laidback, easy-going guy – is that always how it is?” Gwen said. (ANI)

First Lady of San Francisco in ‘threesome’ sex scene

Washington, Feb 26 (ANI): Jennifer Siebel Newsom, wife of Mayor Gavin Newsom of San Francisco, has created headlines with her raunchy threesome sex scene.

The First Lady had made the indie flick ‘The Trouble With Love’ before she met her husband, and now it has landed in the hands of Warner Bros. for an “on demand” and limited theatre release on February 27.

“It is going to cause quite a stir as people aren’t used to seeing a political figure like this,” Fox News quoted director Gene Rhee as saying.

“But I just hope people judge her (Jennifer) for her amazing performance not for her political associations,” Rhee said.

The heartfelt film presents a quartet of vignettes on a disparate group of young adults exploring the trials and tribulations that come with falling and staying in love.

According to Rhee, Newsom’s explicit role involves an “eye-popping and racy” sex scene that involves hallucinations and which turns into a threesome with a twist.

“It’s always a little awkward (filming intimate scenes) but I’m a dancer and an athlete so I have a more tomboy figure so I just went for it,” Newsom admitted.

“The film was a challenge, but fun,” she stated.

As for what her hubby thinks about the sex scene, the actress revealed that he is not at all perturbed by it.

“Gavin jokes about and teases me and says he’ll have to approve all scripts from now on,” Newsom said.

“His Grandmother was actually an actress so he has a very strong affinity to the arts,” she added. (ANI)

Charlotte Church to wed beau in summer?

Washington, Jan 16 (ANI): Welsh singer/songwriter Charlotte Church is reportedly set to wed her rugby star boyfriend Gavin Henson this summer.

The couple already has two children – 15-month-old daughter Ruby and son Dexter, who was born on January 11.

Now Church and Henson plan on sealing their relationship by walking down the aisle as soon as the singer has shed her post baby weight.

“Gavin had promised her they’d get married after the new baby was born. So far the couple have avoided the issue of marriage because it will involve such a big wedding and so much organisation and they’ve always been too busy to get it together,” Contactmusic quoted a source as telling the Daily Mail Online.

“They’d love to have one ceremony in Wales with the family and one in an exotic location. Now that their son has arrived, they are under even more pressure from their families so they’d like to tie the knot this summer. Once Charlotte is back to feeling slim and happy with her looks she’ll want to be a bride, and Gavin is ready for it.

“Until now, they’ve both felt that having children together has meant a lot more than a wedding in terms of commitment. They feel they have the perfect family, a girl and boy, and now they want to make it even more perfect by marrying,” the source added. (ANI)

Charlotte Church welcomes second child

Washington, Jan 12 (ANI): Welsh singer Charlotte Church and her rugby player boyfriend Gavin Henson welcomed their second child, a baby boy, on January 11.

The baby’s birth was revealed on Church’s website, with a statement reading “we can confirm that he weighed in at 7 lb., 5 oz., and that mum and baby are both doing just fine.”
“He was born just after midnight at her and Gavin’s home with Gavin in attendance at the birth,” People magazine quoted the statement as adding.

Church, 22, delivered the baby, who was more than three weeks overdue, in a birthing pool just after midnight.

The two, who already have 16-month-old daughter Ruby Megan, were ecstatic to have a baby boy.
“They’re over the moon to have a son. All went well, although it was a very long night,” the Sun quoted a friend as saying.

Though no name has been given to the baby, the two are considering naming their baby Alan Lloyd-Alan for Henson’s father and Lloyd for both their middle names.

“That name is the front-runner,” a friend said.

“Lloyd would be a good choice for the middle name. It’s like a family tradition,” the friend added. (ANI)
