Flutteroo Online Auctions Make Online Bidding Even Easier With Its New Bids Swap Initiative

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM, Jun 25 (MARKET WIRE) —
Online auctions website flutteroo is delighted to announce the launch of
its brand new Bids Swap initiative making it even easier for customers to
get bids on flutteroo.co.uk. Now, with Bids Swap, if a customer wins a
Penny Auction or from a range of Lowest Unique Bid Auctions , rather than
taking the winning auction product or even cash, players are now
automatically offered the opportunity to take bids instead. These are
instantly credited to the customer’s account meaning they can keep
bidding and winning without the need to top-up separately.

And, because Bids Swap are always offered at a great rate, the number of
bids customers get are very competitive too meaning not only less hassle
for players, but also good value!

Flutteroo, which only last week reached a milestone 50,000 signed up
customers, is continuing to innovate and ensure it keeps on rolling out
new and exciting extras for its bidders. This is all part of its ongoing
upgrade program to the whole site over the coming months, designed to
make it an even simpler and more interactive auction site for all its
customers.

Dave Hobday, CEO flutteroo, commented: “We are really excited about
Bids Swap. It’s a great opportunity to make it easier for our customers
to get bids and win auctions, and offer them more choice and great value
too. It’s another example of where we are trying to respond to the needs
of our players and make bidding on flutteroo ever more fun. Plus, given
the competitive pricing we offer on Bids Swap, it’s also great value too.
By offering Bids Swap as an integrated part of our check-out it’s very
easy for players. It’s their choice whether to take Bids Swap or just bag
the product itself and we are now able to offer whichever they prefer in
a totally seamless and simple way.”

This initiative from flutteroo continues its drive to ensure it’s always
offering bidders what they want and stay one step ahead of the game. With
its unique combination of 3 different types of auction including price
drop auctions flutteroo has become one of the most innovative and
consumer focussed online auction websites. And, with the very latest
products now going under the hammer, including the brand new Apple iPhone
4 and iPad, along with the more established favourites such as Nintendo

The good life begins at 50

London, May 18 (ANI): Life may begin at 40, but the fun really starts at 50, that’s the conclusion of a new study.

According to the study, carried out at Stony Brook University, in New York, falling levels of stress and worry, a longer life and better health mean life begins at 50.

Instead of taking a backseat, older adults now pursue fulfillment in a more active and vigorous middle age, reports The Daily Express.

In the study, boffins found that older folks benefited from a “positivity effect” meaning they recalled fewer bad memories, had more emotional control and an ability to see things positively.

The US study of 340,000 people was published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

The study found variables like having children or no job had no effect on age-related patterns of well being. (ANI)

The 29-year-old reality TV star bravely showed off her natural complexion as she was photographed for America”s Life and Style magazine.

Her reason for going make up free was to send an important message to her millions of fans.

“Make-up is fun, but it’s just another accessory. I’m happy with myself, and this is who I am.

“As much as it’s fun to glam up, the most important thing is to be comfortable in your own skin – with or without make-up,” The Daily Telegraph quoted Kim as saying to the magazine.

She, however, did admit that she often relies on cosmetics to help maintain her flawless complexion.

“I use it to give my whole face a little more colour since it’s so pale in comparison to my body,” she said. (ANI)

She told host Chelsea Handler: “One person cannot enjoy it, which is my father. He”s not allowed to enjoy it – he”s not allowed to see it.

For Karachi male prostitutes “it’s all about eye contact and the rest is understood”

Karachi, Apr.27 (ANI): Pakistan’s financial capital, Karachi’s Empress Market is fast becoming a hub for male prostitution.

One can find dozens of male ‘prostitutes’, who mainly are in the age group of 15 to 25 years, waiting for customers in this busy market place, but not everyone can identify these men selling ‘unnatural’ sex.

By the way in which these men communicate with their potential customers, one could hardly make out as to what they are upto.

“Some do it just for fun and don’t accept money,” he said.

“Policemen or guards force us into sex without payment, but rarely, as we avoid going to places where they could be present,” he added. (ANI)

“I remember starting the first day on that film in an aircraft, flying a jet and it was 102 degrees, and I”m wearing a helmet and sweater, and then I”m being strangled over and over again, and I thought, ”Oh my God, this bloody character is going to kill me’,” Brosnan told Venice Magazine.

“The press tour for that film was 22 countries. When I did it I knew the movie wasn”t up to speed; it wasn”t as good as GoldenEye and you have to bang the drum loudly to get the attention,” he added.

The last Bond movie Brosnan did was Die Another Day in 2002.

The 37-square-metre hotel, built by world record-holding Cardstacker Bryan Berg, is made from more than 200,000 key cards and weighs 1814 kilograms.

It includes a guest bedroom, bathroom and lobby, with life-sized furniture.

The design was created by Holiday Inn, the world’s largest hotel group, to mark the relaunch of 1200 of its hotels around the world.

“The Key Card Hotel is a fun and interactive way to showcase the changes happening at our hotels and is the only structure of its kind to ever be created by a hotel brand,” News.com.au quoted Kevin Kowalski, Senior Vice President, Global Brand Management, Holiday Inn, as saying.

Berg, who will also build a freestanding three-metre replica of New York’s Empire State Building in the lobby of the Key Card Hotel using Holiday Inn playing cards, said constructing the hotel has been a great challenge.

“This is my largest cardstacking challenge to date and the only card creation I have ever made at full human scale,” Berg added about the hotel.

Facebook crosses 300m users mark, cites rapid growth in profits

London, September 16 (ANI): Facebook has announced that it has crossed a benchmark of 300 million active monthly users from across the world and also started raking in profits ahead of schedule.

Founder of the world’s largest social networking site Mark Zuckerberg said the company had not expected to begin reaping financial benefits until sometime next year.

“This is important to us because it sets Facebook up to be a strong independent service for the long term,” The BBC quoted Zuckerberg as saying in a blog post.

“We are succeeding at building Facebook in a sustainable way. We are just getting started on our goal of connecting everyone.

“We face a lot of fun and important challenges that require rethinking the current systems for enabling information flow across the web,” he added.

Mike Schroepfer, Facebook’s vice president of engineering, also said: “Passing these milestones to me means we can continue to fund our development and our innovation and be self sustaining as we grow this network.

“We think 300m is a just a step on the way to get as much of the entire world on the social network communicating with the friends and family and the people they want to communicate with.”

Nick O’Neill of AllFacebook.com added: “That Facebook is able to continue this growth and build a “cash flow positive” business is an impressive feat.

“If the company can cover the cost of scaling to 1 billion users and still manage to break even, there’s no doubt that the company will have a great opportunity to rake in billions.”

The news that the company had crossed the two benchmarks was made at TechCrunch 50 in San Francisco. (ANI)

Mick Jagger’s success mantra

Washington, September 14 (ANI): Sir Mick Jagger, who was famous for his hellraiser behavior in his youth, has admitted that just partying doesn’t make one successful in life.

“You can’t give into temptation all your life, otherwise you’d have no through line; you’d never get anything finished,” Contactmusic quoted him as telling Britain’s Vogue magazine.

“But it’s absolutely no fun at all unless you give into temptation some of your life. If you never do, you’re really boring and dull,” he added.

Also, the Rolling Stones frontman said that staying in hotels often has inspired him to make his home colourful and exciting.

“Hotel life has influenced my decorative tastes quite negatively. Because you say, ‘Right, I don’t want any brown or beige.’ Because most hotels go in for neutral colours – they don’t want to offend anybody,” he said. (ANI)

“No one has built all these buildings to the same scale and put them side by side before – let alone out of toothpicks.

“I really wanted to see what it would look like. If you can’t travel the world, I want people to see this exhibit and think they just did,” he added. (ANI)
