Mel B, Eddie Murphy attend Shrek US premiere together

London, May 18 (ANI): Former Spice Girl Melanie Brown joined ex-partner actor Eddie Murphy for the US premiere of his animated film ‘Shrek’.

The couple split a few months before the birth of their daughter, Angel Iris, in 2007 – leading to a public paternity spat but she supported him by attending the screening of Shrek Forever After in Los Angeles on Sunday.

It is the final film in the animated series about the loveable green ogre, reports BBC.

Murphy, who lends his voice to Donkey, arrived on the red carpet with his family, joking, “It”s crowded in the limo!”

Brown kept a low profile and preferred to hug and chat with Murphy”s family members. (ANI)

Mel B declines Playboy’s nude offer – fifth time

London, September 6 (ANI): Former Spice Girl Melanie Brown has revealed that Playboy has asked her five times to pose nude for the magazine but she has declined it.

“They’re offering me a ridiculous amount of money but I’m just not ready to do it,” the News of the World quoted her as saying.

However, the hottie isn’t totally ignoring the opportunity to appear in the ultimate men’s magazine.

She added: “I’ll consider it in the future when I feel the time’s right.”

Mel B, who is married to film producer Stephen Belafonte, is set to present ITV1 chat show Loose Women this month. (ANI)

Kelly Rowland wants to have Mel B’s six-pack abs

Washington, June 24 (ANI): Kelly Rowland has admitted that she’s desperate to achieve a chiselled body like that of the former Spice Girl Melanie Brown.

The former Destiny’s Child singer revealed the desire after spotting Brown showing off her impressively toned abs at a pool party.

Brown impressed many with her fit appearance after a stint in U.S. talent show ‘Dancing With The Stars’, and has recently been showing off her curves in risque revue Peep Show at the Planet Hollywood Casino Resort in Las Vegas.

And Rowland is eager to spice up her exercise routine – but admits she will find it difficult to cut out her favourite foods.

“I think Mel B looks so good, I really do. I’m trying to do more crunches so I can almost get a tummy like hers but I like rice and pasta and that’s the problem right there,” Contactmusic quoted Rowland as saying. (ANI)

Mel B to host talent show to search for next Spice Girls

London, May 25 (ANI): Former ‘Spice Girl’ Melanie Brown is all set to host a new TV talent show, which will find the next big girl band.

The show, being produced by U.S. music channel VH1, might see the ‘Wannabe’ singer helping search for the stars of the future.

“It’s going to be a real chance to find some edgy raw talents and watch it unfold as part of the show,” the Daily star quoted Brown, currently in Las Vegas starring in burlesque act Peepshow at the Planet Hollywood Resort, as saying.

However, Scary Spice, as she is popularly known as, has ruled out a lucrative Spice Girls reunion.

“It wasn’t about money for us – it was about going out on top where we finished,” she said. (ANI)

Holly Madison set to go topless in Las Vegas show

Washington, May 16 (ANI): After years of posing topless for Playboy readers, Holly Madison has decided to strip again-this time in front of a live audience.

A representative for the former ‘Girls Next Door’ star has confirmed that after much contemplation, the blonde beauty has decided to go topless in her new Las Vegas show.

The ‘Peepshow’, in which Madison, 30, will take over the role of Kelly Monaco, also includes topless dancers, though the two top roles have been kept under wraps.

The representative said that when the former Playboy model met the producers of the show, she decided to follow suit with Peepshow’s other dancers.

According to People magazine, former Spice Girl Melanie Brown has the other main role in the show. (ANI)

Mel B was hypnotised for steamy Peepshow

Washington, Apr 15 (ANI): Former Spice Girl Melanie Brown has revealed that she had to be hypnotised to gain confidence to perform onstage during her striptease show.

Scary Spice is set to kick off her racy stage production Peepshow in Sin City next week (18Apr09) and admits she needed a little help getting ready for the show.

“My friend hypnotised me before I started rehearsals to have a real open mind,” Contactmusic quoted Mel B as telling People magazine.

“I was getting a bit nervous. My anxiety was getting to me. I was hypnotised to calm me down and it worked,” she added.

The 33-year-old popstar had recently revealed that she turned to meditation after parting from former beau Eddie Murphy so that she could beat post-split blues. (ANI)

Scary Spice turns burlesque babe for spicy lingerie

London, Mar 11 (ANI): Former Spice Girl Melanie Brown has shown her raunchy side as a burlesque babe for the latest underwear from lingerie giant Ultimo.

The stunner, a.k.a. Scary Spice, stripped off to bra, knickers and stockings to display the new collection.

Keeping in sync with the burlesque theme, the 33-year-old mum posed with vintage props including a fan, elbow-length satin gloves and beaded necklaces.

“Burlesque is all about embracing and celebrating your body. The shoot was fantastic and I felt every inch the burlesque star,” The Daily Star quoted her, as saying.

“A girl’s gotta have great lingerie, but it’s also all about the wink and the tease that goes with it. Modelling lingerie is really empowering and it was fantastic to get in character. The new Ultimo collection is super-feminine, with lashings of elaborate detailing, luscious colours and sexy fabrics. I just love it!” she added.

The shoot even ties in with her new Las Vegas burlesque extravaganza Peep Show, where she plays mistress of ceremonies Peep Diva.

It kicks off on March 30 at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino. (ANI)

When Amy Winehouse answered door….topless!

Washington, March 5 (ANI): Amy Winehouse has apparently proved she is not amongst the regular lot of women after opening a door for a stranger topless.

The ‘Rehab’ singer, who returned to London from a two-month break in the Caribbean to battle her drug addiction, was said to have ordered a tanning bed, reports Fox News.

The troubled pop star, in the middle of a divorce with jailbird hubby Blake Fielder-Civil, reportedly answered the bell clad in just bikini bottoms as the delivery personnel arrived.

Meanwhile, Amy was also alleged to be turning to former Spice Girl Melanie Brown to shed the extra pounds piled during her St. Lucia holiday.

The ‘Back to Black’ star was purportedly following Melanie’s fitness DVD, which includes a four-week plan, for all fitness levels, to get back in shape. (ANI)

Scary Spice quietly settles custody battle with Eddie Murphy

Washington, Feb 2 (ANI): Former Spice girl Melanie Brown has settled her custody battle with actor Eddie Murphy in secret, say reports.

In 2006, Scary Spice made shocking revelations of a short fling with the Beverly Hills Cop star, and falling pregnant with daughter Angel Iris.

Murphy insisted at the time that it was possible that he was not the father of the baby.

However, when he took a DNA test, it was determined that Angel Iris was in fact his.

A new item on the website RadarOnline.com suggests that the pair have quietly resolved their battle over money and visitation rights, reports Contactmusic.

A source told the website that the actor was not granted custody, but will have visitation rights. (ANI)
