Courtney Love claims she had a lesbian fling with Kate Moss

London, May 20 (ANI): Rocker Courtney Love has sensationally claimed that she bedded supermodel Kate Moss in Milan, Italy.

The widow of Nirvana star Kurt Cobain had dropped hints weeks ago about a tryst with a female pin-up, who she claimed chased her round a room, leading to a sex session.

And in a startling new magazine interview, the 45-year-old singer has now claimed: “It was Kate Moss. She doesn”t care.”

Love has also alleged that many of her female friends in London had slept with Kate.

“It”s a great story for the grandchildren, so yeah. Kate wasn”t doing a lot of drugs. It was just a thing that happened in Milan in the Nineties,” the Sun quoted her as saying.

“It happened and it was fun and whatever. And she talks about it and so I hope she doesn”t get mad that I outed her about it.

“I feel like such a kiss and tell. Kate”s great, though! Kate”s a good friend of mine. I almost bought her house in St John”s Wood, London,” she added. (ANI)

Jailed Tweed on suicide watch

London, September 8 (ANI): Jailed rape suspect Jack Tweed has been on suicide watch after reportedly telling doctors, “If I had a gun I’d kill myself.”

Jade Goody’s widower, who is allegedly being kept in segregation, was said to have received a string of abuse and threats from other inmates at Pentonville jail in London.

“He has been put on an unusually tight watch and has to be checked on every 20 minutes which is virtually unheard of,” the Mirror quoted an insider as saying.

“He told psychiatrists he wanted to end it all. He is very depressed. If the mental health team are invoking that kind of thing it means they take his threat very seriously,” the insider added.

The 22-year-old is behind bars after a 19-year-old clubber claimed he raped her as his pal joined in.

Tweed is said to have attacked the girl at a party at his home after inviting the teenager and two of her female friends back to his rented house from a London nightspot in the early hours. (ANI)

Jailed Tweed cries he is ‘innocent’

London, September 7 (ANI): Jailed rape suspect Jack Tweed has reportedly claimed his innocence, while he awaits trial.

Jade Goody’s widower has been put behind bars after a 19-year-old clubber claimed that Tweed raped her as his pal joined in.

The 22-year-old is said to have attacked the girl at a party at his home after inviting the teenager and two of her female friends back to his rented house from a London nightspot in the early hours.

Tweed, who has apparently confessed he had been with the girl at the centre of the claim, purportedly made a tearful phone call to his pal from Pentonville prison in London, insisting he is innocent.

“His friend asked him if he was OK. Jack said, ‘No, I’m f***ing not. I’m in Pentonville jail and I can’t believe that I am here. It’s all a nightmare,” the Mirror quoted a source as saying.

Tweed apparently added to the friend: “I can’t believe a girl has made an allegation like that against me and I have ended up here. I am totally innocent and that will be shown in time.”

He also reportedly said: “This is all so ridiculous…I have done nothing. I was with the girl, but no way did I rape her. When the police came to the house I could not believe it. I feel drained and really low. I haven’t slept since I was arrested.”

Tweed would be remanded in custody until September 21. (ANI)

Prince William’s secret vacation with old chum Lady Natasha

London, Aug 23 (ANI): Prince William has had a secret summer vacation in Cornwall without his girlfriend Kate Middleton, it has emerged.

And while Middleton was absent from the seen, Lady Natasha Rufus Isaacs – an old chum of the second in line to the throne – was often to be seen by his side, reports the Telegraph.

When asked, Lady Natasha said: “I don’t want to talk about the holiday. It was a private occasion.”

Prince Harry was also among the guests enjoying the five-day break at a house rented by Lady Natasha’s father in Trebetherick.

Lady Natasha’s brother, Viscount Julian Erleigh, 23, is one of Harry’s best pals.

One regular at the local Oystercatcher bar where the princes and their friends caroused on a number of nights during their holiday in the first week of July said: “It says a lot for the discretion of people who live here that it has remained a secret for this long.

“Sometimes there were about 20 of them in here. All of the princes’ female friends are very pretty, but I recall Natasha well. She stood out.”

Lady Natasha met William when she attended Westonbirt School, a mere five minutes from Highgrove, and was close enough to him by the time he celebrated his 21st birthday party to be seated at the top table. (ANI)

Second-born kids really are more rebellious

London, Apr 30 (ANI): A new research has confirmed what many parents long suspected: Second-born kids are more likely to be rebellious in later life than their more conservative older siblings.

According to scientists, who published their study in the journal Child Development, firstborn children are likely to conform while younger siblings are prone to more independent personalities, reports The Telegraph.

To reach the conclusion, researchers at the Pennsylvania State University, the University of Hawaii at Manoa and Purdue University interviewed 364 children in the United States between the ages of seven and 19 and their parents.

They also took saliva samples to measure testosterone levels and asked the children to keep a diary of their activities outside school.

A spokesman for the researchers told the Daily Mail: “Second-born children showed increases in traits like adventurousness and independence across adolescence, whereas in firstborns, these traits did not change much over time.

“These findings are consistent with the idea that firstborns conform more, while second-borns are more likely to rebel.”

The study found that girls who spent time with other gals developed more feminine characteristics while boys became more masculine if they played with other boys. But, both boys and girls appeared to benefit from having female friends, becoming more adventurous and independent if they played with girls.

Another key finding was, children who showed faster rates of increase in the hormone testosterone in early adolescence were not as affected by social influences on their personality development. (ANI)

Sexuality magazine aims to stir orthodox beliefs in Pak

London, Apr 3 (ANI): While Pakistan is known for its conservative outlook towards expression of sexuality, a new magazine in the country is creating ripples all around with its no-barred approach to sexuality.

Chay, Pakistan’s first magazine about sexuality, is currently only available online.

It has already published articles entitled ‘Innocence’, ‘The Predicament of a Polygamous Lesbian’, and ‘A Cry in the Wilderness: Male Homosexuality in Pakistan’.

Managing editors of the magazine, Kyla Pasha and Sarah Suhail, have insisted that their new venture is not a gay magazine.

They also say that they want to fulfil their dream of producing a print edition of the magazine, which publishes essays, poetry, photography and art.

However, Suhail, who is openly gay, has said that she was partly inspired to develop the project after living in Seattle.

In an interview at Lahore apartment, the 26-year-old researcher said that she wanted to set up something for gay and transgender people back home.

“I wanted to create some sort of queer space here, but then we thought that perhaps would not be safe. So we thought about a magazine instead,” the Independent quoted her as saying.

Pasha, 29, who teaches at a university, added: “It’s not a gay magazine. It’s a magazine about sexuality. People can talk about any sort of sexuality but it seems people are more interested in those that are most marginalised – gay, or third gender. We’ve actually struggled to find content relating to straight sexuality.”

With the magazine, the editors are keen to encourage debate about sexuality within their country, and challenge received wisdoms.

They said that the magazine was not just about promoting gay equality, but also promoting the rights of women and the right of people to make their own choices regardless of what society might say.

Pasha said that talking to female friends, who were ridden with guilt because they did not wait to marry before having sex, also inspired the venture. (ANI)

College men don’t dig boozed-out ‘girls gone wild’

Washington, Mar 10 (ANI): The myth that guys like women with the naughty cachet of “Girls Gone Wild” has been debunked, concludes a new study, which found that most college men don’t look for a lady to match them drink for drink.

According to a survey of 3,616 college students at two American universities, an overwhelming majority of women overestimated the amount of alcohol a typical guy would like his female friends, dates or girlfriends to drink.

The results can be found in the March issue of Psychology of Addictive Behaviors, published by the American Psychological Association.

“Although traditionally, men drink more than women, research has shown that women have steadily been drinking more and more over the last several decades,” said the study’s lead author, Joseph LaBrie, PhD, associate professor of psychology at Loyola Marymount University.

“Our research suggests women believe men find excessive drinking sexually attractive and appealing, but it appears this is a giant misperception,” the expert added.

For the study, the researcher team invited the participating students, ages 18 to 25, to complete an online survey during the 2007 fall semester. The students were at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles or the University of Washington.

The women answered several questions to determine, on average, how many drinks they thought a typical college man would like his female friends to drink at a typical event, as well as the maximum number of drinks they thought the men would like their female friends to drink.

They then had to say, on average, how many drinks they thought a woman would have to consume for a guy to consider being friends with her, consider dating her or consider her sexually attractive. The men were asked their actual preferences.

The researchers also asked the women to estimate how much they drank in any given week or month, and how much alcohol they thought the average woman at their university drank in any given week.

The results showed 71 percent of women overestimated the men’s actual preference of drinks at any given event. The women overestimated by an average of one-and-a-half drinks. When the researchers looked at the different subgroups, 26 percent of women said that men would most likely want to be friends with a woman who drinks five or more drinks and 16 percent said that men would be most sexually attracted to a woman who drank that much alcohol.

Both estimates were nearly double what the men actually preferred. They also found the women who overestimated the men’s preferences were more likely to engage in excessive drinking. (ANI)

‘Difficult to trust’ Jermain Defoe ‘dumped’ by Chantelle Houghton

London, Mar 1 (ANI): Tottering Hotspur ace Jermain Defoe has been dumped by his model girlfriend Chantelle Houghton because ‘he’s difficult to trust’.

Just a week ago Defoe, recovering from a broken toe, and Houghton were seen kissing on a romantic Dubai break.

However, soon after their return she gave him the elbow in an emotional phone call after fretting about his close relationships with female friends.

“He’s a difficult guy to trust. She was always worrying what he was up to,” News of the World quoted a pal, as saying.

Defoe has a history of cheating on girlfriends.

Apart from Houghton, he has dated ex-fiancée Charlotte Mears, Danielle Lloyd, David Beckham’s little sister Joanne, glamour girl Sarah Giggle and ex-Big Bruv star Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace.

“Chantelle has never really been sure about Jermain. He has a string of girl ‘friends’ and is always on the phone. Most genuinely are his friends. But Chantelle just wants a quiet life with a man she can trust,” the pal said.

Defoe tried to reassure Houghton that he would never cheat on her but the former Celebrity Big Brother champ has decided that it’s over. (ANI)
