‘National High School Cheerleading Championship’ exclusive on ESPN

New Delhi, Mar 27 (ANI/Business Wire India): The cheerleading championship of the United States of America ‘The National High School Cheerleading Championship’ (NHSCC) will be broadcast on ESPN from March 30 to April 9.

The National High School Cheerleading Championship (NHSCC) is the most prestigious cheerleading championship in the country organized by the Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA).

The NHSCC is held at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida, and nationally televised on ESPN and ESPN2 to over 100 million homes and 32 countries nationwide each year.

Universal Cheerleaders Association was founded in 1974 by Jeff Webb to provide high quality educational training for college and high school cheerleaders through summer camps and clinics on college campuses.

The association believes that the primary purpose of a cheerleader is to support athletic programs and lead the crowd before and during various sporting events. Cheerleaders play an instrumental role in raising, leading and maintaining school spirit in and around their communities.

National High School Cheerleading Championship is therefore a UCA initiative, which combines high-energy entertainment and traditional school leadership and significantly highlights cheerleading as a dynamic, athletic and high profile activity in the present day world. (ANI)
