New York, Mar 26 (ANI): Bruce Willis didn’t meet his new wife Emma Heming through friends, as his pals have said, infact, the actor handpicked his ladylove while he was casting for his film ‘Perfect Stranger’.

The 54-year-old actor was apparently looking for a date when he was casting for the film-which starred him and Halle Berry, and set his eye on Heming when she was finalised for a minor speaking role.

“During the casting of ‘Perfect Stranger’ [the suspense movie Willis made with Halle Berry two years ago], Bruce was very involved with the casting. In fact, you could say he was extremely involved no matter how minor the role,” The New York Post quoted an impeccable source as saying.

Willis requested the casting agents to place calls to modelling agencies to fill the roles of extras and minor speaking parts.

“He personally went through head shots and when the girls were called in to ‘read,’ he was there in the meeting. It was odd for the star of a movie to do so, but at the time he was single and I guess he needed a date,” said a casting source.

And then, “he started dating [model] Tamara Feldman, with whom he coincidentally enough had a sex scene,” said the insider.

After Heming was selected for a small speaking part, Willis “started dating both Tamara and Emma but obviously, Emma eventually won out,” said the source.

And finally, Willis and Heming got married last weekend at his home in Parrot Cay in Turks and Caicos.

Madonna, Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher and Willis’ three daughters attended the nuptials.

However, a rep for Willis declined to comment. (ANI)
