Terrence Howard reveals he’s married

London, May 21 (ANI): ‘Iron Man’ star Terrence Howard has revealed that he is married.

Howard, 41, reportedly wed Michelle Ghent, 33, in a small Los Angeles ceremony in January (10).

But the couple kept the news to themselves for months, until Howard went public with it at the Cannes Film Festival in France earlier this week.

“To come here and be with my wife, it’s the best feeling in the world,” the Daily Express quoted him as saying to CNN at the film festival.

A source told UsMagazine.com: “Terrence is so in love with her and she’s a great, down-to-earth girl who really understands and loves him for him.” (ANI)

Amy Winehouse offered free booze to go back to St Lucia

London, May 19 (ANI): St Lucia tourism chiefs are trying to cash in on Amy Winehouse’s drunken antics last year.

They are trying to lure the singer back with free booze.

“She’s always welcome back to St Lucia,” the Daily Star quoted Allen Chastanet, minister for tourism, as saying.

“I wish that she could have done a better performance last year but that’s something she’ll have to deal with.

“But in terms of showing up on time and living up to her commitments she was very professional. I’d love to have her back. No one artist has ever done for the exposure of the island what Amy did he added.

“She totally immersed herself in the island culture and was very down-to-Earth.

“She didn’t walk around with a huge entourage, she got mixed in with the nightlife and generally St Lucians loved having her here. We wish her only the best and hopefully there are better days ahead for her,” Chastanet added. (ANI)

The former atomic Kitten star reportedly spent a night with the 33-year-old at a friend”s home in Warrington.

Apparently, she dropped him off at his parents” home, where he stays, the next morning.

“Adam is her perfect man. She”s absolutely mad about him,” the News of the World quoted Katona’s friend, as saying.

The pal added: “Even though everyone has told her to keep away from men, Kerry can”t help herself with Adam.”

Katona parted ways with ex-husband Mark Croft earlier this year following three years of marriage.

The pal added: “Kerry is in a right pickle. One of the new rules of her management company was that she moved down south to be near them.

“Well, you can take the girl out of Warrington but you can”t take Warrington out of the girl.

“She is extremely vulnerable after dumping Mark. She”s using every opportunity to get back up north to be with Adam.

Lewis, 36, who was once engaged to 41-year-old Aniston’s ex-husband actor Brad Pitt, was at the G-Star Raw showroom in Los Angeles trying on the new Fall/winter 2010 collection.

New York, March 25 (ANI): Michelle Obama, her daughters Malia and Sasha and some friends left staff and guests dazzled with their visit to the legendary Brooklyn pizzeria Grimaldi”s.

The ladies were said to have arrived for lunch and were served four pies – a plain, a pepperoni, a sausage and one with mushrooms, peppers and onions.

Rafal Harajda, who has served plenty of high profilers during his 12 years of service, described the children as “great … super polite and super well-behaved” and admitted being stunned by the US First Lady.

“I was very surprised because … she was down to earth. I was nervous at first, but she makes you comfortable right away,” the New York Daily News quoted Harajda as saying.

Manager Joe Silvestri also confessed: “Mrs. Obama looked awesome, great, even better in person than on TV.

Melbourne, Sep 10 (ANI): While meeting Hollywood’s hottest hunk remains a dream for some, a passenger on a United Airlines flight was able to not only meet actor Brad Pitt but also film him.

Justin Ross Lee was fortunate enough to be seated alongside Pitt on a recent flight from Los Angeles to New York and he was able to capture the moment on his mobile phone.e has since posted the clip, showing Pitt tucking into his in-flight meal of chicken, enjoying a beer and catching some shut-eye, on brightcove.

“If Brad was any more down to earth, the jet never would have left the ground,” News.com.au quoted Lee as telling Star Magazine.

Washington, September 6 (ANI): Actor Gerard Butler, who is reportedly dating Jennifer Aniston, wooed her by giving her a ceramic chicken, sources say.

‘The Bounty’ star apparently gifted the rooster to his co-star on their first day of shooting, reports Contactmusic.

A source said: “Jennifer and Gerard already knew each other quite well after meeting several years ago through friends in Hollywood.

“On the first day of making ‘The Bounty’, Gerard had remembered that Jennifer had once told him she collected chicken memorabilia for her kitchen, so he bought her a ceramic rooster and gave it to her on set – she loved it!”

Both stars have not yet confirmed they are in a relationship, however, they have been spotted on a series of romantic dinner dates.

Natalie Portman to star in ‘Thor’

Washington, July 14 (ANI): Natalie Portman has been cast as the female lead in ‘Thor, Marvel Studios’ adaptation of its comic book.he 28-year-old Portman has been cast as Jane Foster, who was a nurse and first love of the title character in the Marvel Comics, reports Variety.

According to Marvel Studios, the character is being updated for the movie version of ‘Thor,’ in which the Norse warrior is cast down to Earth to live among humans.

Chris Hemsworth stars as Thor in the movie, which begins shooting early next year. It is due in theaters May 20, 2011.

Paramount will distrib the pic, to be directed by Kenneth Branagh. (ANI)

London, Jul 3 (ANI): ‘The X Factor’ co-judge Cheryl Cole is said to have been specially chosen by music mogul Simon Cowell to front a US version of the show.

Senior NBC executives are due to fly to Manchester this weekend to see Cole, 26, in action at the live auditions.

“Simon is on the brink of signing a deal to take The X Factor to America and, if he gets his way, Cheryl will be its star,” the Mirror quoted a source as saying.

“He thinks she has amazing presence and her down-to-earth Northern charm will appeal to the American public. She is also an incredibly beautiful girl.

“She won’t get paid anything like the million pound salary she’s on here, because obviously she is not as well known in the States.

“But if it is a success, like most of Simon’s shows are, it could catapult her into the big league,” the source added.owell, 49, who has an estimated fortune of 120million pounds, will not be able to appear on the show, as he is tied into a deal with rival network Fox for American Idol.

London, Jul 1 (ANI): ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ star Johnny Depp was praised by everyone on the red carpet at Empire Leicester Square, where the premiere of his latest movie ‘Public Enemies’ took place.

Depp, 46, who arrived early dressed in a black suit and shades, looking every inch the gangster that he’s playing in the film, greeted waiting fans and signed autographs for nearly an hour.

“He’s a brilliant bloke. We didn’t go out drinking but spent a lot of time supping red wine and watching the Fast Show together. We shared a sense of humour,” the Sun quoted Brit star Stephen Graham as saying.

London, May 18 (ANI): A Susan Boyle fan is selling miniature dolls resembling the Britain’s Got Talent star on the Internet.

Debbie Ritter, from Fisher, Illinois, makes use of clothes pegs, wire and clay to create the four-inch structure of the amateur singer.

The 46-year-old has been selling the dolls with bushy eyebrows and bird’s nest hair to collectors for 14 pounds.

Debbie said that she fell in love with the Scottish virgin who turned into an overnight celebrity amazing all, including US President Barack Obama, with her stunning performance of the song ‘I Dreamed a Dream’ on the talent show.

“It’s a lot of work and each doll takes at least a couple of hours. It’s more of a hobby than a job for me but I sell them to collectors too,” the Telegraph quoted Debbie as saying.

“It’s painstaking work and you need small fingers. When I first saw Susan on television I just fell in love with her and when I heard her voice I had stars in my eyes.

‘Hungry’ Prince Harry wolfs down meal for two

London, January 30 (ANI): Prince Harry was reportedly so hungry that he shovelled in two meals at a roadside restaurant.

The Royal’s recent split with girlfriend of five years Chelsy Davy was alleged to have little effect on his appetite after he ordered and wiped out a lasagne and a chicken and mushroom pie at Little Chef in Sleaford, Lincs.

The 24-year-old, who is training to pilot the meanest attack machine in the British Army, then moved on to finish a pancake with sugar and lemon and two Cokes while with two other trainees and two bodyguards.

“When Harry was asked if everything was satisfactory, he said, ‘Absolutely amazing.’”
