Meet Prince Charles and Camilla, the ‘wedding planners’!

London, Sept 20 (ANI): Prince Charles and wife Camilla are turning wedding planners and “loaning out” their country retreat of Highgrove House to wannabe brides and grooms.

And included in the package will be the royal couple’s shared “expertise”.

Like Charles and Camilla did at their Windsor wedding four years ago, couples will be encouraged to “keep it simple”, say reports.

As per rumours, the first pair to enjoy a “Charles and Camilla wedding” are TV babe Jenni Falconer and her actor fiancĂ© James Midgley, reports The Daily Star.

A royal source said: “Obviously with it being their house they would want control of the event. But they also recognise what a great opportunity it would be to showcase their home.

“Highgrove is an absolutely fantastic building and would make a wonderful venue for a wedding and reception.”

The nine-bedroom country house on a 37-acre estate near Tetbury, Gloucestershire, was bought for Charles in 1980.

A source said: “Charles is hugely proud of Highgrove. It’s a wonderful property and he has spent thousands of pounds on the gardens and grounds. I’m sure by holding weddings there Charles would take great pleasure being the host.

“And he could use them to promote the Duchy Originals organic products he’s involved with.” (ANI)

Michelle Obama plans to beat the heat by heading off to Camp David

New York, May 23 (ANI): US First Lady Michelle Obama has revealed that she is planning to make full use of Camp David this summer along with her family.

Michelle, 45, says that former First Ladies have advised her to visit the country retreat to beat the heat.

“The most unexpected and uniform advice that I got [from my predecessors] was, go to Camp David early and often … universally, across the spectrum,” the New York Daily News quoted her as telling Time magazine.

“It’s the one place you can go where you feel some level of freedom and an ability to breathe. I think every single First Lady felt that was an important resource, an important pportunity, an important thing for the health of the family. And some found it later in their terms than others, because you get so busy,” she added. (ANI)

Claudia Schiffer ‘lives’ in a zoo!

Washington, Mar 30 (ANI): Supermodel Claudia Schiffer has fulfilled her childhood dream of living in a farm by building up a collection of countryside animals and exotic pets.

The 38-year-old model keeps her pets at her country retreat in Suffolk, England.

Her farm contains three dogs, two sheep, four chickens, a pregnant pig, two black swans, four ducks, three tortoises and a parrot.

Schiffer compares her everyday routine to living in a “zoo”.

“I always dreamed that one day I would like a farm with lots of animals, so I thought I’d get little amounts of each and find out how it works,” Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

Schiffer has made all possible arrangement to make the farm eco-friendly. She has installed an Austrian Wood-fired eco-boiler to heat the 17th century property. (ANI)

Cameron Diaz keen to buy house in beau’s country Britain

Washington, Feb 2 (ANI): Hollywood actress Cameron Diaz has totally fallen in love with her beau Paul Sculfor’s country Britain, and is considering buying a mansion in Essex.

The decision came after the ‘There is Something About Mary’ actress went to visit her beau’s family in Essex.

Sources have revealed that the duo even checked out a luxurious 3.2 million dollar mansion there.

“Cameron was reading the papers by the fire (at Babington House) and talking about how they needed their own country retreat,” Contactmusic quoted a source as saying.

Even Paul is said to be keen on buying a mansion in Essex so that he could stay close to his family.

“Paul is keen to have a place in Essex, preferably close to his parents’ home in Hornchurch. The couple have already checked out a 2.2 million pound mansion in Basildon,” Paul’s pal said. (ANI)
