Brangelina ‘planning small wedding’

Washington, Apr 27 (ANI): Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are reportedly planning to get married.

They are eyeing a low-key affair in order to avoid accusations of wasting money, reports Contactmusic.

The couple raises six children, Maddox, eight, Pax, six, Zahara, five, three-year-old Shiloh and 21-month-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

A friend of the couple told America”s OK! magazine: “Brad and Angelina are exceptionally private people, and they pride themselves on being humble and not wasting money.

“So some over-the-top, beachfront affair with hundreds of guests isn”t going to happen.”

A source close to Brad – who was previously married to Jennifer Aniston – and Angelina said: “First it was Maddox, who has begged his parents to tie the knot for years.

“Lately, Shiloh and Zahara have been chiming in, and Pax thinks it would just be the coolest thing ever to be a ring bearer.” (ANI)

Brangelina visits Montenegro

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have travelled to the former Yugoslav republic of Montenegro following a visit to Bosnian refugees earlier this week.

The owner of a hotel near the medieval coastal town of Budva says Pitt knows the area from when he shot one of his first films, The Dark Side Of The Sun, in 1988.

“Brad Pitt told me that he had wanted to show Montenegro to his wife as he had nice memories of Perast, Sveti Stefan and Kotor where he had shot one of his first movies at the beginning of his career in the 1980s,” Splendid hotel owner Zarko Radulovic said.

“He told me they could bring the kids here for a vacation as they like it and the nature is nice.”

The Hollywood power couple were in Bosnia on Monday visiting internally displaced Bosnians still living in collective centres, often in appalling conditions, 14 years after the end of the war.

Jolie is a goodwill ambassador for the UN’s refugee agency UNHCR.

The pair are due to fly back to Italy later today.

Jolie is filming The Tourist in Venice with Johnny Depp and director Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck, who was behind the critically acclaimed 2007 German film The Lives Of Others.

Brangelina searching for luxury house in Big Apple

New York, July 13 (ANI): Globetrotting Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are apparently thinking of setting up base in New York, for reports have suggested that the celebrity couple have been secretly checking out plush properties in the Big Apple.

According to reports, the star couple have even seen the Apthorp-the century-old upper West Side landmark that’s undergoing a condo conversion.

Although the ‘Mr. And Mrs. Smith’ pair have always rented out properties during whenever they have stayed in the city, they now seems to be interested in the fortress-like luxury of Apthorp.

“The gated courtyard means they can get in and out of their car without being hassled by paparazzi. The building also has several other exits,” The New York Daily News quoted a source as saying.

It is believed that Pitt and Jolie are thinking about putting together three units in the building.

“I heard they’re ready to spend as much as 25 million dollars,” said a source.

It is believed that the couple is beguiled by the hand wrought period details of the Apthorp, which was built in 1908 by the Astor family.

Some apartments are as large as 13 rooms and boast 11-foot ceilings and 44-inch-wide hallways. (ANI)

Brangelina’s disaccord at Cannes sparks relationship trouble rumours

London, May 22 (ANI): Hollywood couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have done nothing to dispel rumours that trouble is brewing in their relationship, and their united front at the Cannes Film Festival looked forced.

It has been three months since the two were pictured together, and when they arrived at the premiere of Pitt’s movie ‘Inglourious Basterds’ on May 20, there was a lot of awkwardness between them.

“Brad and Angelina have certainly had happier times. They used to do everything together but these days they barely see each other,” the Sun quoted a source close to the couple as saying.

“Both of them are exhausted. They have to juggle the demands of parenthood with their busy careers.

“Angie has a temper but she’s at her worst when she’s tired or stressed,” the source said.

Body language expert Robert Phipps was asked for his opinion on the couple’s pictures taken at the festival.

“I am convinced they are not happy,” he said.

“In most of the snaps Brad is not really smiling and Angelina is only smiling in a few.

“We hardly see teeth in these smiles, which means they are not genuinely feeling comfortable. They both seem to be staging their appearance for the camera, especially Angelina, who does not look natural at all.

“They seem a little anxious, almost possessive of each other, but never at the same time.

“They take it in turns to hold one another and never look completely on the same level, which suggests distance and mis-communication.

“Brad also has his hand in his pocket in most of the shots, which means he’s not totally on board with the red-carpet night.

“The whole show suggests they are uncomfortable, with things on their mind, but this could be a by-product of the event itself,” he added. (ANI)

Brangelina photographed together after three months

While on the red carpet at the festival, Pitt admitted that he did not remember how he agreed to be in the movie.

“Quentin came to visit. I get up the next morning and see five empty bottles of wine – and something that resembles a smoking apparatus,” the Mirror quoted him as saying.

“I don’t know what that was about – and apparently I had agreed to do this film,” he added. (ANI)

London, May 9 (ANI): Hollywood actors Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are the most powerful celebrity couple on the planet, according to a new study.

The remarks, which had been made by Mayer, 31, to Rolling Stone magazine in 2006, were reprinted by US websites.

“The gist of his rather smutty comments was that, while everyone considered Brad to be the luckiest man in the world to have got together with Angelina, John thought he was really unlucky as he has no fantasy woman – she was his reality,” the Daily Express quoted a source as saying.
