NEW DELHI: On account of Nishad Raj Jayanti, a procession will be taken out around 12 noon on Sunday by Shree Nishad Raj Samaroh Samiti.

Special traffic arrangement have been made regarding this to avoid any problem to commuters. The procession wills move from Parade Ground to Ramlila Ground via Esplanade Road, Chandni Chowk, Fatehpuri, Khari Baoli, Naya Bans, Shradhanand Marg, Ajmeri Road and Asaf Ali Road.

Another procession, a Shobha Yatra on Babu Jagjivan Ram Jayanti, will also take place from 1pm between Red Fort to Samta Sthal via Chandni Chowk, Fatehpuri, Khari Baoli, Lahori Gate, Shradhanand Bazar, Ajmeri Gate, Kamla Market, Turkman Gate, Delite Cinema and Delhi Gate.

A religious procession organized by Christian Youth League on the occasion of Palm Sunday will start at 3.30pm from Central Baptist Church to Raj Niwas Marg (Emmanuel Baptist Church) via Chandni Chowk, HS Sen Marg, SPM Road, Church Mission Road, Fatehpuri, St Stephen’s Church. Khari Baoli, Sadar Bazaar, Bara Tooti Chowk, Pahari Dhiraj Azad Market Chowk, Pul Bangash, Barfkhana Chowk, Sarai Phoos, Boulevard Road, Tis Hazari and Rajapur Road.

Traffic diversions will be made at the time of these processions at Subhash Marg, Chandni Chowk, SPM Marg, Fatehpuri, Pahari Dhiraj , Azad Market, Boulevard Road, Rajpur Road, Khari Baoli, Ajmeri Gate, Asaf Ali Road, Kamla Market and Turkman Gate. Commuters are advised to avoid these routes at the times of the processions.
