Deep tensions remain in the W-A Greens following the public admission by Fremantle MP Adele Carle of an affair with the former Treasurer Troy Buswell.

“That’s how we work as Greens, its been very tough.”

Giz Watson says Ms Carles is not returning her phone calls.

Peter Andre wages war on Jordan

London, June 29 (ANI): Peter Andre has declared war on his estranged wife Katie Price a.k.a Jordan.

The ‘Mysterious Girl’ singer is said to be furious with the ‘vicious slurs’ the glamour model has been making against him and has called an urgent meeting with advisers and friends to decide his next move in his bitter split with Jordan.

“He is fuming about what’s been said. He’s going to meet his people to see what can be done. As far as he’s concerned, it’s a new low, getting pals to take sides and make vicious slurs,” the Daily Star quoted a source as saying.

Jordan has blamed the break-up of their three-year marriage on Andre and now her friends are starting to publicly attack him.

Former Liberty X singer Michelle Heaton – who was Katie’s bridesmaid at their 2005 wedding – defended her pal, saying she had been unfairly treated by the media.

She said: “It makes me furious when I see the stick Kate is getting. She is made out to be the baddie.

“The simple fact is that he left Kate. She is a strong woman though and she refuses to play the victim.”

Peter – who raises three children with Katie, Harvey, seven, Junior, four, and two-year-old Princess Tiaamii – wants to defend himself but doesn’t want to behave in the way Katie has.

“Kate can do what she wants. Peter won’t get involved in tit-for-tat accusations. He knows how it looks to the public. He’s happy for Kate to continue self-destructing,” the source said. (ANI)

Simon Cowell denies claims of ‘slave labour’ on his TV shows

London, Feb 2 (ANI): Music mogul Simon Cowell has denied that contestants on his reality TV shows are being treated unfairly and paid poorly.

Cowell, who hosts the show American Idol, insisted that all finalists go on to earn thousands of dollars as a result of his hit shows, after he came under attack from a British newspaper.

The paper had claimed that the finalists on his U.K. talent show X Factor had been signed for a country-wide tour after the show ended last year, but were paid as little as 250 pounds per gig.

“I don’t mind being cast as the pantomime baddie – but I am very fair in business. It is not slave labour,” the Daily Star quoted him as saying.

“I won’t go into the precise figures because that is confidential but these people will earn about 50,000 pounds each on the X Factor tour.

“For any kid who wants to get into the music business and hasn’t got a recording contract – it’s a good deal.

“To put them in front of 16 million viewers over a period of time and then pay them 50,000 pounds for three months work? That is not a bad deal,” he added. (ANI)
