Artie Lange , 41,“The Howard Stern Show” personality and comedian, was charged with driving under the influence of an intoxicant and with careless driving as he made minor traffic accident around 1:30 p.m on Friday in New Jersey, according to the Asbury Park Press.

Police said that Lange was cooperative and he was not under the influence of any illicit drugs.

Artie Lange, personality and comedian, was scheduled to appear on Friday night at the Ocean County Library in Toms River, New Jersey to talk about his book, “Too Fat to Fish.”
