Mike Tyson fine with Jamie Foxx playing him in biopic

Washington, May 18 (ANI): Retired American boxer Mike Tyson has given Jamie Foxx the green light to play him in a planned biopic, after watching the actor’s famous impersonation.

Tyson, 42, admits to having been angry with Foxx, 41, at first after he saw the actor poking fun at him on U.S. TV show In Living Color.

However, after a recent meeting with Foxx, the boxer got convinced that only the ‘Ray’ star could do justice to his part.

Tyson also revealed that he has since left his past behind, days when he went hunting for Foxx to let him know exactly what he thought of his impression.

“I was trying to catch him to let him know what I felt about it… It was just a form of flattery and I was just young back then and I had a little self-esteem (issue) and insecurity,” ontactmusic quoted him as saying. (ANI)
