Jennifer Aniston keeps fit by running around horse track

Washington, September 20 (ANI): Jennifer Aniston has been running hard to maintain her fitness while shooting new film ‘The Bounty.’

The actress reportedly woke up at 5a.m in the morning and ran laps around New Jersey’s Monmouth Park racecourse to the surprise of the crewmembers.

“She showed up every morning at 5am to run laps on the giant oval for a solid hour before cameras rolled,” Contactmusic quoted a source as saying.

“She’s really disciplined about keeping fit. She’d get there before everyone else and zip around that huge track like a winner!” the source added.

The ‘Break-Up’ star apparently prefers running to other fitness regimes as it keeps her thighs and calves toned.

Even earlier this year, it was reported that she woke up at 3am to work out so that she could stick to her busy shooting schedule.

A source said at the time: “Jennifer has had a totally overhaul for this film. She wants to be seriously fit, yet remain curvy.

“There are a lot of early starts on set, so she has had to get up at 3am to get two hours in the gym before getting ready for filming.” (ANI)

Horny ghost on the prowl in Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur, Sep 18 (ANI): A horny orang minyak, which is supposed to be a ghost in Malay culture, is said to be terrorising about 300 families in Sungai Petani, picking homes where there are young women.

According to Kosmo!, Nurshahirah, 17, revealed that she was awakened at 5.40am on September 14 after she felt a warm sensation on her left ear, and when she opened her eyes she saw an apparition with curly hair and thick moustache standing by her bed.

“I was even more shocked when the ghost took off his kain pelikat and started to fondle himself,” the Star Online quoted her as saying.

Nurshahirah, who lives in Taman Keladi, said she felt powerless to ward off the apparition who started to grope her body, and that it was as though a charm had been placed on her.

In another incident, housewife Fatimah, 42, revealed she heard her two daughters crying out when they were woken up at 5am by dark apparitions that molested them.

Her 15-year-old daughter told her that she had been “violated” by a ghost.

“At first I thought she was talking in her sleep but she insisted that she was molested by a ghost before it moved to the kitchen,” Fatimah said.

She said her 14-year-old, too, cried and ran from the living room, saying a dark apparition had molested her.

“My 14-year-old daughter said she managed to kick the ghost who wore a kain pelikat and black singlet when she felt her body being touched,” she revealed.

“She screamed and the ghost ran out of her room,” she added.

Fatimah said she gave chase with a parang but the apparition disappeared.

She also said the apparition could have placed a charm on her family because none of the neighbours heard her daughters’ screams. (ANI)

Jolie’s bicycle gifts leave Namibian kids thrilled

Washington, August 20 (ANI): Angelina Jolie is apparently no less than a saint for the Namibian children she helped by donating the profits from her family photos of baby Shiloh in 2006.

The kids helped by her are thanking her for distributing the four million dollars she had made from showing off Shilow, who was born in Namibia, to local schools.

Children attending the Okanimekwa School just can’t thank her enough because the estimated 10,000 dollars their school received in donation helped buy them bicycles.

“She’s (Jolie) a very special person, and we’ll never forget her. She must be a holy person,” Contactmusic quoted teenager Emiliana Shikongo as saying in a new Life and Style magazine expose.

And schoolpal Andreas Kristofelius added: “I think Angelina Jolie must be a saint.”

The report further revealed that the school bought 75 bicycles to help struggling pupils, and Shikongo was among those to reap the benefits of the gift.

Telling that her new mode of transport has shaved 90 minutes off her journey to school, she said that she no longer left at 5am and returned after dark.

“Now I can stay at school until 4 or 5pm to finish my homework and I still get home before dark. Now my teachers and parents are happy with my performance,” she said.

Kristofelius, 17, added: “I used to stay late at school, then walk home to collect firewood to make light so I could finish my homework (because) there is no electricity… Now, with the bicycle, I get to school early, and I’m already working when my teacher arrives. And I can stay later and finish all my homework because it doesn’t take me long to ride home.” (ANI)
