I”m little bit skanky, says World”s Sexiest Woman Cheryl Cole

London, April 30(ANI): Despite being named World”s Sexiest Woman for the second year running, Cheryl Cole says she”s a bit skanky.

The singer added that she hates to dress up for photo shoots.

“I”ve been known to be a little bit skanky and wear the same pyjamas I woke up in for six hours,” the Daily Star quoted her as telling Harper”s Bazaar.

She added: “Photo shoots are my worst nightmare. I don”t like being pampered all day.”

Cole also hinted that she is doing fine, even though her relationship with footballer Ashley has suffered a jolt, following the exposure of his affairs.

She said: “I”m happy with my lot.”

The X Factor judge recently topped FHM”S 100 Sexiest Women list for the second time. (ANI)

Cheryl Cole voted world”s sexiest woman for second year running

London, Apr 29 (ANI): Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole has been named the world”s sexiest woman for the second year in row.

The X Factor judge, estimated to be worth 10 million pounds, has left behind the likes of Transformers star Megan Fox and underwear model Marissa Miller.

The singer is the first Brit to top the FHM”s 100 Sexiest Women in the World poll.

Cole split from footballer husband Ashley earlier this year after stories about his alleged affairs surfaced and saucy photos of him taken on his mobile phone were sent to other women.

Fox was ranked runner-up for a second year, with Victoria”s Secret model Miller in third spot.

Chart star Frankie Sandford of all-girl act The Saturdays took fourth position, up 13 places in a year.

And Keeley Hazell remains at number five for the second year running.

Over one million FHM readers worldwide voted for the poll this year.

“That other election might be a close-run thing but this equally important poll was so one-sided this year that some bookies have already paid out on Cheryl Cole,” the Independent quoted FHM editor-in-chief Colin Kennedy as saying.

“After hogging the headlines and dominating TV screens for 12 solid months, the nation”s sweetheart romped home for a second successive year, leaving all challengers in her curvaceous wake.

“With very strong showings for Frankie Sandford and hot newcomers like Twilight star Kristen Stewart, perhaps Cheryl should start looking over that perfectly sculpted shoulder. Or at least, showing a bit more leg,” he added.

Megan Fox tops US FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women In The World list – again

London, June 23 (ANI): Megan Fox has topped US FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women In The World 2009 poll for the second successive year.

The Transformers beauty, who came second to Cheryl Cole in the British version, has become the second woman to retain her crown following Jennifer Lopez’s twin win in 2001 and 2002.

In the top five, the stunner was joined by fellow actresses Jessica Alba (second), Scarlett Johansson (third), Jessica Biel (fourth) and Madeline Zima (fifth), reports The Sun.

Adriana Lima nabbed the sixth spot, Elisha Cuthbert seventh, Heidi Montag eighth, Anne Hathaway ninth and Katy Perry tenth.

Britney Spears jumped from 100th place in 2008 to this year’s No12.

London, May 8 (ANI): After being named the sexiest star, gorgeous Cheryl Cole has now been pronounced Britain’s Best Dressed Celebrity.

The ‘X Factor’ star pipped rivals like Victoria Beckham, 35, and Lily Allen, 24, to win the gong for the country’s ultimate fashion icon.

The ‘Girls Aloud’ singer is already making waves, what after topping FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women poll and landing a 2.1million pounds deal with ITV.

In the poll by GMTV viewers, the 25-year-old beauty came out toppers, while bandmates Sarah Harding, 27, Nadine Coyle, 23, Nicola Roberts, 23, and Kimberley Walsh, 27, failed to make the list.

Lorraine Kelly, 49, presented the award to the brunette beauty at the GMTV High Street Fashion Awards.

“It’s the big hair and gorgeous dresses – she looks stunning,” the Daily Star quoted Kelly as saying.

GMTV lifestyle guru Nick Ede added: “Cheryl has got that middle ground between Victoria Beckham, who is a bit too groomed, and Kate Moss, who is a bit too grungy.” (ANI)

Stephanie Rice named World’s Sexiest Sportswoman

Melbourne, May 03 (ANI): Swimming sensation Stephanie Rice has been named the sexiest sportswoman in the world.

Rice came in at No.30 in FHM magazine’s 100 sexiest women in the world in 2009, pipping Serbian tennis starlet Ana Ivanovic (32) for sport’s top spot.

The men’s mag says Rice has ‘a body honed to perfection’, reports the Daily Telegraph.

Soccer and cricket star Ellyse Perry was placed at No.82 by the magazine’s readers, and Jelena Dokic at 93.

Rice is the best-known swimmer in the world without a personal swimwear sponsor, and would be in a winning position during the world championships in July.

The International Swimming Federation’s newly formed commission assembles in Lausanne next week to decide which hi-tech swimsuits will be legal for the world titles in Rome, after an influx of new brands and new technology destabilised the sport in the past year.

On the advice of her coach Michael Bohl, Rice deliberately refrained from taking the money on offer from the manufacturers to an athlete of her stature.

Bohl believes that she is now in the perfect position to respond to the changing conditions for the world titles. (ANI)

Freida Pinto tenth, Cheryl Cole tops World’s Sexiest Woman poll

London, April 23 (ANI): Slumdog Millionaire star Freida Pinto has landed the tenth position in FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women Of 2009 list.

The crown for the sexiest woman in the world went to Cheryl Cole.

According to FHM, nearly ten million voters across the globe chose the Girls Aloud singer, who became the first Brit to bag the title in three years.

The 25-year-old overtook last year’s titleholder actress Megan Fox, who was now placed at the second position, reports the Sun.

Jessica Alba grabbed the third spot followed by pop princess Britney Spears.

Rounding up the top five was an English Page 3 Girl and glamour model Keeley Hazell.

Pinto appeared in the chart for the first time, debuting in at 10th position.

Meanwhile, other celebrities who landed a spot in the prestigious list were – French President Nicolas Sarkozy’s wife Carla Bruni, who was voted 40th sexiest woman in the world.

The singer-former model was voted sexier than both Eva Longoria (41st) and Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger (60th).

Queen overshadows Sienna Miller in FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women list

London, April 13 (ANI): Sienna Miller is not as sexy as the Queen, at least that’s what FHM’s latest 100 Sexiest Women list suggests.

However, the magazine’s poll has placed the actress above Home Secretary Jacqui Smith.

“Two years ago Sienna was at number 45 before falling to 70 in 2008. But this year she got only a handful of the 10million votes cast,” the Sun quoted a mag source as saying.

“That leaves her ahead of Jacqui but trailing Queen Elizabeth II and Michelle Obama,” the source added.

Mag editor Chris Bell said: “Maybe it’s the credit crunch or that Sienna is a bit annoying, but men seem to be rejecting privileged It-girl types like her.”

The FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women list is to be announced on April 23. (ANI)
