In China Earthquake, Destroys 10,000 Homes as a result of an earthquake that struck in southwest China. The quake left more than 300 people injured when it hit Yunnan province in southwest China.
The depth of the quake was about 10 kilometers (6.2 miles), Xinhua reported, the U.S. Geological Survey gave a figure of 5.7. and it killed more than 68,000 people and left nearly 18,000 more missing not to mention displacing 15 million others.
The officials have rushed food, medicines, and other essential goods to the quake hit region to help the affected people.
